Bandai Namco could port this old games on Steam and gain a lot of revenue from them. But the thing is that they want to centralize all the palyerbase on Tekken 7 and keep milking it. Thats how corporations works sadly. And i don't think they want to expose how awful a modern game looks compared to a 15 years old one.

The fact that Tekken 5 DR is exclusive only to PSP and PS3 is the real tragedy. I'd play this over T7 anyday of the week.

Tekken 7 Devil Jin is just Jin's model with wings, tattoos & horns. Here, he's also paler and his eyes got differient color. Was it so hard to change in T7? No. Modders did that. So why he wasn't like that from the beginning?
They could at least recolor Jin's skin making it pale with the black veins sticking out more. Also bring back his sharp teeth and yellow eyes. I think his voice echoed more in T5 also

@@DreamsOfGaruda Not to mention it bothers unloading and reloading everything but wont let you change character or stage in matchmaking.
Tekken 7 is Arcade Port so it has pre-built in delays even till this day, and they are Japanese developer so don't expect much in terms of efficiency, old games had to work so much on optimization for it to even load. so they are trained to do good development practices, but now is just garbage, computers load everything fast why bother make some thing work faster if it works. that's how they think

2:17 Tekken 5 had a much higher budget relative to Tekken 7 for its time. Since Tekken Tag 2 flopped, 7 was a budget game.

Imo T5DR is the most lore accurate Tekken Game.
Dragunov being so underwhelming is one of the reasons why I think that when/if we get a way to play Tekken 5 DR with rollback, someone should make like a balancing patch that makes every character viable.

Gameplay wise this game is awesome than the trainwreck Tekken 5 but the redesign of the stages, bgm, and character colors made me enjoy the game less

This clip here actually shows how overromanticised TDR is. The balance was fucked as well as combos. They are shorter yes but they hit like a truck and are only accessible to high skilled players. TMM does that double electric into multiple jabs for a hellsweep ender like a walk in the park because he plays the game for 30 years. This guy fucking breathes Tekken. If we'd have the screw removed and the wall game from DR in T7 the latter would be better as a game by a mile. Otherwise saying that TDR is a better game thx to movement is a little too much. T7 worked extremely well before the DLCs.
At least Tekken is doing way better than MK11. That shit is dying, fast.
