I loved that stage the music, the atmosphere, I used to train on it all the time in tdr, I'm glad they got the juke box in tekken 7.

Dragunov is less and less dead-looking with every new Tekken release.
He used to look so pale it was like he never saw the sun and hung out with Eliza.
Good thing the real buff was him looking human.

His moves looks slower in this game but also more realistically..
Namco should have make the frames better and make the moves jail to compensate slow recovery,
TMM should go into Tekken 6 differences to today's game, going into characters like Bob and Lars for example!
MechaMan_ both were top tier even in ttt2 but in tekken7, well...

Yeah, Dragunov is pretty cool. It's funny how he's got better Judo moves than the actual Judo character of Tekken (Paul). Especially love his Kata Guruma to kick throw (Purge Slam), that's like the best throw ever. He also has tons of cool joint locks and chokeholds. Kinda wish he had ground grabs, though.
His best iteration for me was Tag 2, he was strong but not braindead.

He actually practices a russian martial arts called sambo. It prioritizes grappling but is a complete martial arts with striking
i mained him for awhile cuz he reminded me of the crow
Dragunov was my first main I ever use.
I always loved his brutal grabs, and the fact he don't talk, in a way, it's fascinating.
Unfortunatly I don't use him anymore, but I hope to use him again one day.
But He's still one of my favorite characters

It's strange how I completetly change my mains in this 15 years I play Tekken, but everything is possible in life😅.
Bryan was my first main as well in Tekken 7 but I switched over to Armor King. He suits my playstyle more.

His strings being slow is a huge blunder gameplay-wise, but at least it's kinda cool because they're realistic. :)

I’m glad you give us the detailed analysis of these characters in the meta. Another channel I’ve been watching is Falsswipegaming and in that they dont tell us how good they were in the thumbnail. This might be something that could benefit you if some ppl would see a character is bad and not bother watching the full vid. Thanks again for the analysis keep it pushing

The first male character that caught my attention is King and for the females, Lili (and I was so shy to use her back in the day because people are so judgemental back then) and now my TK fam. just grew a LOT, I am so happy after all these years. TK5 is probably my most fave TK game because it is just so nostalgic 😭👌🔥

I know that you hate her but you should cover Lili too, since she was also new in T5DR. Same with all of the new characters in T6
She was interesting in this game. Her 10 hit string launched and would actually kill you if you landed all the hits. She also had a different b1 which I wished was in T7.
@@bigbangbot-SuperSqank Her 10-string launched in T6 too. She had her old f+2,1+2 in T5DR which was NC iirc. Her f+2 alone was +3 on block, only i16 and it had good tracking! And her f,f+3 was 0 on block, which made it such a good approach tool! Her SS+3 launched too! She had a bunch of awesomely broken tools that got removed when in T6...
I knew her 10 hit string launched in T6 but they nerfed the damage quite a bit. They did give her some interesting things in T6 as well even though they took some things out.

Bunch of misinformation here... In DR lili was terrible. SS3 launched but was -12. F2,1+2 was NCC and HC on CH, i16, first hit was +3. Her b1 was +3 OC and i16 (same as sebastian's b1 but better frames)
Db3+4 was db3 and gave free ws3 everywhere... db4 was blazing fast.
Try QCF+2/ B+4,3/ D+4,1,3 Does a decent amount of damage
And now he is the number 1 and the most broken character at the start of Tekken 8
Thanks for the Breakdown. This is the one game in the Series I never got to play much. Literally like 20 hours total max. I loved the way it felt bit only got to play it at a friend's house on occasion as I never owned it myself. Dragonuv is one of my mains now but damn I didn't know his struggle in his roots. Great video.
I'm glad TMM mentioned the movement in this game vs Tekken 7, because the nerfed movement is the worst thing about the game imo. The game is still good, but the nerfed movement is a way to appeal to new players who dont like getting backdashed to stepped. Screw that.
Back when Dragunov wasn't a 2 move character.
He’s never been a 2 move character and never will be, he’s too linear and needs a huge number of complimentary moves to be used effectively.

Dragunov used to be so cool and interesting (now hes been reduced to a 3 move character its just so sad)
Take the - on hit low that doesn’t force crouch anymore, WR2 linear close range, no mixup there.
Drag never was a mixup machine, just fundamental rushdown with a huge number of moves to compliment his 2 main tools decently well.

Don't get why characters like Law look so bulky and juiced up when they should look short and skinny, maybe a bit of muscle. It is fine for characters like Hei and Kaz to have a huge build as they are the strongest characters in the lore.
Unreal engine is lame, yeah it's hd but sucks the soul out of everything
Thats why a lot of maps are closed down not endless except infinite stages

I can't wait for you to cover/revisit (if ever you decided to) tekken6 and tag2 again. I heard those 2 games were not good according to the internet. But I just love it because tekken6/tag2 has the bound system and is easier for me at least than tekken7 tailspin since t6 bound only requires small to no dash at all to end the combo even if the filler before the bound is 5-6 moves. Also lars was better.
They weren't bad games it was just bad damage scaling rage murderded health bars too easily and it was waaaaay to easy to get rage.
