If the Muslim countries can ban the bikini and enforce a hijab dress code, why can’t France ban religious symbols that go against French values and enforce their own dress code?

You have 5m+ people in France. If you think doing that is beneficial then you are wrong. Muslims are sett to become 40% of France’s population by 2070-2100. If you want to start a Muslim revolution in France go ahead.

simple answer: France and the West must be consistent regarding how they apply their constitutional values of liberte (liberty) and freedom. Meaning that women can dress how they want. unless you want to forgo that liberte is a fundemental human right meaning that the government can potentially ban bikinis in public (which they should).
While our muslim countries do not accept classical or modern liberalism or any form of utilitarianism or hedeonism.
We are not very induvusualistic. Therefore, our constitution is not on the same basis as your's but based on the quran and the prophet tradition which makes up the bulk of shariah law.
Meaningt that we can enforce dress codes!!
You guys cannot even prove that classical liberalism is true from first principles!!

@@radirandom133 There are dress codes in the West as well. It is wrong to say that someone can just wear whatever they want in public. There are indecent exposure laws for example. The key is that whatever the government decides has to be applicable to all.

🧕🧔 Here are some things that Muslims are not allowed to do in France:
1⃣ Wear a niqab or burqa in public: In 2010, France became the first country in Europe to ban the wearing of full-face veils in public. This law was met with backlash from the Muslim community, who saw it as a violation of their religious freedom. 🚫🧕
2⃣ Pray in the streets: In 2011, the French government passed a law that prohibits public worship in the streets. This was a direct response to the growing number of Muslims praying in the streets due to the lack of mosque space. While the intention was to ease tensions, this law has been criticized for targeting the Muslim community. 🙏🏽🚫
3⃣ Serve halal food in schools: In 2020, the French government announced that schools will no longer be allowed to serve halal meals, claiming that it goes against the principle of secularism. This decision has caused outrage among Muslim parents and students, who argue that it is discriminatory and goes against their dietary restrictions. 🍗🚫

Using the old worn out artifact argument really does not have any bearing on the choice of country people choose to live in. There are plenty of countries which have laws based on lots of different histories to choose to live in. To go to a country and demand they become part of another culture is ridiculous. If you accept the passport or visa you have agreed to accept the laws of that country. Full stop end of.
Turn your point of view around and say both countries involved in the argument you make about making good harm done to each over the centuries, then at least there is room for discussion. Remember not everyone wants to live in a slave based society structured in the manner of those followed by the Mohamedians.
At the end of the day the only people who really benefit from the current goings on are the rich and powerful of all sides, be it Secular or any of the Religions.

I don't like seeing people needing to mold their ideologies because of pressure from institutions, but I will have to agree that Muslims have time and time again, validated the negative stereotypes associated with them through their actions and thoughts. If a group of community just revolve their whole life and ideology around their religion, all they talk is about religion,(I have personally experienced it on discord) then how will they be able to appreciate the beauty of other cultures and country. The reputation of the Muslim community is now at stake here in this age of intense globalization and super fast exchange of communication. So I hope the well educated and civil minds of the Muslim community will try to deal with the uncooperative folks from within because it is now not feasible for non-muslims as I see, to bring about change in the mindset of other Muslims.
I know what I have written is mainly unrelated to the video, but I felt a need to express my thought and so I have.

Everyone wanted them to go to their own countries. But if you know that the majority of Muslim countries collapsed because of Europe and America, you will understand what a ridiculous question this is.
There are many examples of this such as Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan and Iraq. Even the current situation in Palestine is thanks to America and Europe.
There would be no need for them to come if you hadn't destroyed their country years ago. They don't like it either, but they have to for their children. And the clothes they wear are none of your business.

all of these invasions is the middleeast own fault Europe and America didnt just invade the middleeast for fun it happened for a reason. Iraq - Hussein "destruction weapons or not doesnt really matter since Iraq was still in need to replace him by force",
Afghanistan - Taliban faced similar problems. That doesnt mean Europe are saints and didnt do anything wrong. But all the fights comes from inside.
its naive to think all of it will change if foreign troops are pulled back home. All the fights will just start again because for some reason muslims cannot co exist
if im wrong was the muslim world a happy place before the foreign interference?

@@LAZTKGLZ4KL7 The objection is that Muslims are hypocrites. In Muslims countries, Sharia (islamic) law is enforced on even the non Muslims and you can get death for wearing short clothes or leaving Islam. There is no freedom of choice. Why do Muslims criticise the west and believe we should adapt Sharia law when they, in their countries, can't accept everybody's beliefs? If Iran, Afghanistan and Muslim countries can ban women wearing the burkini and short clothes, France has every right to ban niqab and burqa! The hijab is still allowed and with niqab and burqa there is a clear safety reason! There is no safety reason as to why a woman shouldn't be able to show her body! Freedom works both ways and I SAY THIS AS A MUSLIM HIJABI. I WEAR THE HIJAB; IT'S MY CHOICE. NO FORCE. BUT I HATE HOW MUSLIM COUNTRIES OPPRESS NON MUSLIMS AND THEN MUSLIMS IN THE WEST FIGHT FOR SHARIA LAW AND PROMOTE HOMOPHOBIA. RESPECT WORKS BOTH WAYS, MUSLIM COMMUNITY! UGH! 😫

Iraq under Saddam, Syria under Assad and Egypt under Nasser have pushed policies against Islamic separatism. This isn’t specific to France alone, secular middle eastern states have done the same. I’m not going to lie though, banning swimwear is a bit absurd in my opinion.
