Double V Quilt Block Tutorial: 10.5 Inches

  • Hello from the sewing room!
    I’m making a Double V Quilt Block.
    This block measures 10.5” square when pieced together, and it will finish in your quilt project at 10” square.
    I use two coordinating fabrics to make the block. It’s comprised of squares and rectangles, so it’s a very easy block to piece together.
    I show you how to sew the block together, press the seams, and finally how to square up the block to an accurate 10.5 inches.
    At the end of the video I have a show-and-tell of a completed table topper I made using four of the quilt blocks.
    So choose two fabrics that you love, make a quilt block, and maybe you’ll be inspired to make a table runner or even a quilt!
