About NYT Cooking:
All the food that’s fit to eat (yes, it’s an official New York Times production). - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
I did this challenge last night. My dinner and dessert was just a half bag of Oreos.
😂
A purist. 👍
True neutral energy
LOL
And you can complete the whole recipe with time to spare!
"Sohla Powered"
Oh I like that.
Ur just out here comin up with a great show title FOR FREE I hope you realize that😭
@@mapeangeloreib.2520 Some people are just so generous, right?
very clever, I hope they use this one!
Amazing ! Do this !
Sohla is getting a show on EVERY cooking channel based in NYC
Sohla deserves to have a show on every cooking channel in nyc, lol
And I need yet more!
That's what she deserves
We all need to thank BA for giving her a chance. Without BA none of us would have heard of Sohla.
as she should
I remember when everyone realized Sohla’s intelligence in the kitchen in that BA episode about experimental way to cook carbonara and basically asked for to have a series doing exactly this. I’m looking forward to more episodes!
The lady’s a walking, giggling food encyclopedia.
I knew she was pretty skilled since she was the only person in that kitchen who knew how to temper chocolate, but that episode blew my mind. That’s when I truly felt she was too good for that channel.
She was talking on a different level in that episode in particular. I can't remember who it was, but they were completely clueless when Sohla went on about manipulating moisture content in starches to ensure it puffs when fried. She was given the hardest combination of dish and course and it was better than everyone else's.
That's exactly what I was thinking 😄😄
You should check out her short stint on binging with babish on Stump Sohla.
I'm a Korean, and it heartens me to see Sohla understand Korean food enough to bend the traditional way of cooking it. You can pull that kind of stunt only when you get the essence of it.
it's like they say in art, you have to know the rules to break them
Title of new show: Sohla Hams it Up.
YES!
Agreed.
O Sohla Mio?
Omg soo cuteee
yes, this
Maybe Ham can help with one task per episode, and Sohla will have to pick the best time for him to jump in and help. Similar to phoning a friend in Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
Yes, she needs a "phone a Ham" option.
Ham radio... it was right there! Cmon!
@@guggenheim914 Fuck that's good
@@guggenheim914 LOL
The best part is Sohla’s thought process of putting this together.
I’m so here for Club Sohla, little edm house music and flashing lights in the intro and then cute to sohla
everyone will be waiting for the beets to drop
DISCO SOHLA
@@c0c0138 The logo could be a bottle that has "Club Sohla" on the label :P
i felt this had a sort of café disco vibe
DUH it's SOHLA. Of course our beloved genius can!
Can't stump Sohla.
Wow, supportive, encouraging spouses who share a profession!
I love club shola too but someone said to name it Heart and Sohla and i am so in love
10:16 "I would crave this again, not just want it again" - WOW! Never heard that before. What a great review! He's a keeper, Sohla :)
I am amazed by how easily she came up with a dinner and dessert menu incorporating Oreos! Like, didn’t even flinch! Also, title, this is pretty much Ready steady cook, so I’ll have to go with Ready Steady Sohla! Not the most original, but fun homage and highly appropriate !
Amazed? It's her job. It's what she was trained to do.
I like Ready Steady Sohla
@@michaelenglish1992all your comments on here are just shitting on Sohla. really hate to see a WoC succeed and be praised for it, don't you? get a life!
New kitchen?! Her old one in the BA videos was so small, this one is such a better size for her ☺️
Watch her on Food52’s channel as well!! You can see her gush abt the new kitchen there in one of the episodes of her show.
yes!! she moved a few months ago, so happy for her :)
Not trying to be rude but the upgrade is likely because now she is being paid what she deserves. 🤷🏻♀️ GOOD ON HER! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@Kouklitsa891 that’s not rude!! BA wasn’t very nice to her clearly, they deserve the shade
I love that Sohla always lets us know the water will never get totally clear when you rinse rice. I spent YEARS rinsing my rice like 8 times. Thank God for this woman.
I will forever motion for “Why The Hell Not?”’ as the name of the show
omg yess
Im happy that so many opportunities opened up to Sohla after she left BA💕she deserves the world
Yoooo those little food drawings are so adorable.
Brave to pull out a charcoal grill with an hour time limit.
I love this and I hope more is to come.
"Can Sohla....?"
"Lemme stop you right there. Yes. Yes she can. I don't even car what the question was. She's got this."
I just feel like we need a Sohla and Ham cooking together show. As well as solo Sohla. I'm just here for all of this.
Why does she only have an hour if there’s no competition? Lol. I feel like it’s unnecessary stress that the audience doesn’t even care about. We just want to see Sohla cook
They should limit active time but passive cooking time should be indefinite. I'm curious if it's due to limiting amount of film to edit or to keep a consistent energy or to prevent her spending too much time on a single episode (for compensation reasons?)
@@RiamsWorld probably some combo of all that. Also if imagine it would be very easy to do if she had infinite time, because we all know she can come up with ridiculous dishes, so putting a time limit on it gives her an actual challenge.
Its actually doable by mere mortals if she does it in 1 h
I agree, I don't really care for the timed stress element. I'm more interested in seeing Sohla get to be creative
@@chricke Yes, this. And she does it in one hour while coming up with everything on the spot, meanwhile if we hurried we would spend one hour doing just the mangoes and then we would burn the beef, the corn would end up undercooked and/or burnt, and so on.
Dinner at the El-Waylly home must be 🔥👌
As a Korean, I love that Sohla loves Korean food (and the fact that she actually called banchan, banchan, not side dishes)
More Sohla content is always appreciated
Why does Ham even bother leaving?!?? Hahaha Love them on screen together.
I appreciate the side of Ham. What a duo!
The show can have a "Ham Line", where Sohla only have 3 chances to call Ham for help!
Hamline is a street and a university in St. Paul. You can bust that fact out at parties.
Club Sohla is perfect because its a PUN. Club soda, also Sohla Power is perfection as well
This isthe best
Sohla never fails to teach, entertain and charm us with her videos. Thanks for the great content. Obviously I immediately clicked on this video when I saw Sohla was in it . Thanks NYT Cooking.
The fact that Sohla made all that with ten minutes over is crazy to me
Sohla is an ABSOLUTE delight, charm, exuberance and a KILLER knowledge of food.
Of course she can!! Sohla Power ☀️😎
👏👏👏
Oh, I love that! The perfect team slogan for fans of the world’s sunniest chef. ☀️#SohlaPower ☀️
im already saving up for the merch
Club Sohla with special guest DJ MC Clementine. If anyone could make dinner and dessert from Oreos, it's Sohla! Looks delicious.
She washes the rice. I have never seen anybody on a cooking show wash their rice. It's a miracle!!!
So this is where u were!! We were missing you from babish
Oh god oh fuck you found her, Sohla is how under pressure from the FBI
New show name options: Sohl Food, Heart and Sohla, Sohl Woman, Chili Crunch and the Spicy Bunch, Sohl Goals, Chicken Soup for the Sohl..a, Sohlmate, orrrrr Feed Your Sohl.... last one: Ham & Shes
No
HEART AND SOHLA OH MY GOD YES
Love sohl food
I am living for these puns!
CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOHL-A
Sohla is a powerhouse of great energy.
some are calling that renewable source of energy Sohla Power, right here, in the comments section
I'm married, but Ham and Sohla are still relationship #goals.
They should have a longer version of the entire cooking progress with the recipe included. I'll definitely watch it.
Sohla really raised the bar of making meals from a secret ingredient. I really wondered how she can come up with a savory dish with Oreos but she did main dish, side dishes, and dessert too!
I am really curious what she can make out of a common Pinoy ingredient/vegetable - ampalaya/bittergourd.
Sohla's laughter is infectious... amazing energy!
I only found this series when Ham had joined and honestly seeing its humble beginnings is so much fun!
I love seeing more and more glimpses into Sohla's life. It's like peeking behind the curtain and discovering that it's as awesome as I hoped.
Sohla’s laugh is magic. As much as her creativity and food skills are amazing, her joyful presentation makes it all accessible.
I love watching Sohla cook!!! Excited for more “club sohla” or whatever you end up calling it lol
The green cabinets and mustard apron suit Sohla so well! She's so beautiful
Yes! Will be watching every episode of this series multiple times.
love this series already !! can’t wait for the next one !
I wonder how Sohla's gonna make Korean dishes w/ oreo but OMG making corncheese using the cream part of oreo???? mind. blown.
FYI Korean style corncheese is mostly served at a sashimi restaurant as a side dish rather than kalbi or barbeque restaurants. Idk why but that's how we do it in here haha
This is such a good series - cannot wait for more
This was so fun!! I love Sohla and it's nice to see more of Ham on the show with her.
Seriously, Sohla has gotten me through some of my toughest days in this pandemic. She's so charming anf talented - how can you not smile? Thank you, our bright angel girl 😘
This is awesome! You and Brad were my favorites on Bon Appetit. It sucked to hear what was going on over there but now you have your own show and that makes me so happy for you. And for me because we will get more videos from you.
it will be fun if Sohla and Ham are competing against each other on this challenge LOL
Sohla, Ham, and Clementine are my dream team!
Yet again you prove your awesomeness! Thanks for inspiring me in the kitchen!
Yay! Sohla!! Always happy to see her thrive
Me: "There's nothing to watch on TH-cam today..."
*Sees: Can Sohla make a meal out of oreas.*
Me: "OH hell, yeah."
*Click*
That was delightful - looking forward to more episodes
This was very fun to watch. I look forward to the next episode! Also, recipes! I would make that short rib dish. And the corn cheese!
I am so glad to see you again. Can't wait to see what you do next
Absolutely brilliant and totally unexpected - thank you Sohla!
this is so fun, i cant wait to see more of Sohla! :)
I love this. Sola has Talent as a real world working Chef, not just a test kitchen/ cookbook/ bloger/ editor/ whatever.
This was so cool. I love the idea, and the time constraint brother element of comedy to the situation. And Ham with assistance and compliments for the win!
this is just so absurdly cool! I love getting to see how her mind works 💗
Wow I clicked on this embarrassingly fast
I'm with you for most of the words. What's the word before "fast?" I don't know if I understand that one ...
I am the opposite, I waited until I could enjoy every second.
I love how she draws everything! So talented
I already know I could watch a milion episodes of this, so great to see Sohla's creativity in action
super talented/creative, this looks awesome!
I'm here for this new series ❤️ Subscribed👍
sohla, oreos and korean food? my favorite things in the world
Me too!!
Also a dog at the end.
Your new place is fantastic. Outside space, too! Love the Oreos, love the grill!
Reminds me of "Make It Fancy" for obvious reasons, but.. its a great format and she does a good job - v good creative thinking! ~
Also, i absolutely love the colour of your kitchen, Sohla!
So glad to see you doing well!!!!
Sohla seems so happy in this! I'm so happy for her :')
do more of these!!!! and dont be afraid to make them longer
Loved this! 💕
her laugh is so cute !!!!! I'm such a big fan of Sohla and I'm so glad she's moved up to better opportunities !!!!
the title of this show? Everybody Loves Sohla. It's a fact!
This reminds me of the college humor skit on OREO CEOs. You don't need to try so hard.
But absolutely love Sohla
I'm living for all the Sohla contents!
Sohla's everywhere now! So happy and proud of your achievements!😊
I love Sohla. She's so creative!
This was a delightful display of creativity and skill.
NYT: "Can Sohla Make..."
Me: "YES. Yes, she can... Anything."
Yes!!!! Love this.
Wow this was so enjoyable!
Love Sohla content! I especially love seeing her interact and cook with Ham. It's been a while since I've watched one of her videos. Her kitchen is different. When did they move?
I didn't know I needed this in my life and now I can't stop watching
welcome to the sohla-system :-)
I loved when Sohla and Ham made that super delicious gourmet gingerbread house. Food is never boring at their house!
Your chili crisp recipe is amazing!
Sohla is so amazing!
Great job Shola!!! Your awesome!!!
The crunch on that cookie tho 😛
It’s so cute that they’re both chefs!
My fav cooking show now.
She's just so cool and relatable.
This show proves yet again that Sohla can make anything delicious!
