If you know what you're doing and are trying to port stuff into blender then use blender 3.6 LTS and download the blender addon from the google drive in the description. You should be able to port all models from the game using that addon and on that version of blender. There is also a blend file in there which is outdated but it does have a node group that has a similar shader to the one OS uses in their game so you can append it into any of your other projects (credit to redsnow). The unreal pak 4.25 is there for anyone that knows what they're doing in trying to make mods for the game by converting uassests into pak files.
@@makeandkraftstudios Depending on if the games AES key is needed and a mapping file is available then yeah it's entirely possible. You can search the mapping and AES key up online if they are available and all you would have to do after that is match the UE version of the game to fmodel in the setting.
Couldn't progress because FModel didn't accept the game path, figures i can't add undetected game it only works if you replace the one that is already there by default
The tutorial was originally gonna be like HUGE, i was going to explain everything in how to mod but realized it was too ambitious. I opted for parts so this is the start for ripping models. The next is previewing and making skins, last is getting it into the game.
im trying to do bioshock infinite but it has Unreal Engine 3 and that's not an option in the settings. how do i get that version key to manually put in UE3?
I couldnt tell ya. You would have to search up specifically how its done for that game. It may use UEviewer instead of fmodel but just look for the games modding community if it has one or search up guides that are specifically made for the game or the unreal engine 3.
First make sure you put the mapping file in. If it is redownload and put it in again to make sure it didnt mess up somehow. If its not that maybe you didnt change the unreal version its looking for which is 5.1? If its none of that just delete fmodel from your pc with the apps and defaults thing and get a fresh install. If none of that works dm me on discord, its the same as my yt name but hopefully itll work👌
I didnt cover how to get them in blender but there is a blender plugin inside the google drive folder called psk importer, after u install and enable that on blender it should appear on the right side of your screen in your viewport or press N if not. After that click it, import psk, and find the model you downloaded and then it should import with everything.
You can take the models but I believe you would have to rig and setup the model yourself to port into smf. Someone did a Juno model for sfm so it's definitely possible
Oh god its such a hassle, Snow has done a full port of Athen city but even that was a lot of trouble. All the pieces for maps are within the files but they take very good knowledge of how to use lightmaps, vertex colors, and materials to port properly. I half did a demon dias port but got stuck in some parts but that took forever. Join the modding discord and maybe someone more suitable than me can be asked lol.
@@Monsterbwoiaaaah my fault I was in school. When you see this just add me on discord and I will send it over to you my name is elanator same kinda profile pic.
I talked about it with someone else here in the comments but they are beyond my knowledge. Every piece is within the files but you have to manually assemble the shaders and pieces as they look way different in the files. They are super complicated and only one person has replicated a single map which was redsnow who did athen city only.
@@Yuilix if its unreal engine, you set the correct unreal version in the settings, and enter in the AES key if the game is encrypted which is posted online for some games.

The unreal paker allows you to make pak files so they are mods for the game.
