Extracting the model and textures for wii u is a bit different, and getting animations from wii u currently is impossible. You can from the switch version but I don't know how different that will be as I've never done it

Maybe I missed it: How did you convert the actual *model* to FBX? You begin to mention it at 9:50, but then move on to texture conversion without mentioning the FBX or IGZ itself. Sorry if I missed it but, I'm quite lost.
So sorry! A few other people found that too, it's an editing mistake on my part. So in the noesis program, when you have your file open on the left you want to find the actors folder for your Skylander. Then when you click on that folder on the right you will see a igz file. Double click on that file and it should open the model up in the right viewport. Then you can go to file export from preview. Then you can export it as an fbx.
By the way, the Skylanders animations can only be ripped from the PS4, Switch and iOS 64-bit versions of SSC and Imaginators! those are the only versions that work. 👍models and textures can be ripped from other consoles too.
maybe the horns of spyro are lacking because it is diferent on his deries 3 so he have 1 model for him, 1 model for s1,s2 and s3 un upgrated and another model of the horns for s3

When you are in that app, on the left side click on the actors folder, then on the right should be that Spyro file. Double click on that spiro file and you will see the model on the right. Then at the top you can click on file and export from preview. Then I'll ask you to export it as a fbx. Again sorry for not checking fully. I think I cut a part of the video when I was editing.
So using Maya turns the model into a format that blender and other programs can use. My GitHub should have the models and the animations in fbx format. So just find a tutorial to import fbx for your version of blender and it should eork
Hello. I've been following your tutorial because i want to get spitifre and hot streak in unity for a racing game called unity. But problem is i have never jailbreaked my console to get the assets. So is there a way to do it without jailbreak? Thank you :)
Yes! You can do it with a ripped game rom, but you would need to find one yourself. However I do have all of the Skylanders in my GitHub repo if you want to take it from there. I did not do the cars yet though

Spyro is missing his horns because if you fully upgrade series 3 spyro his horns will change.

The actors folder has the main model, but the models folder has those extras. Check out my GitHub repo because I ripped all the models
