I have the BNO 150 for almost 5 months now. Switched out that uncomfortable rubber/polyurethane strap after a month of wear. Ordered a stainless steel oyster bracelet from Long Island Watch ( BRAC 35 ) and its really nice. Matches the watch perfectly and dresses it up quite well. Citizen watches are criminally under rated...
Another great video. Pretty much the perfect affordable dive watch, an Eco-Drive movement and short lugs are the icing on what is already an extremely moist cake. I am beginning to think that quartz watches with batteries are hardly worth bothering with when there are so many good and reasonably priced Japanese solar and automatic watches on the market now.
Excellent review! Love your style, concise and to the point. You made me feel happy I bought the watch back in January 2019 for $150! I put a brushed oyster style strap on mine. Looks and wears way better than that stiff polyurethane strap. It is one tough, good looking watch. The 38mm ProMaster was my first Citizen and very first diver purchased way back in 2005. Keep up the good work and that positive attitude, dude! Looking forward to future content.
great video,i picked a promaster over alot of other dive watchers regardless of price....I just purchased a bulova marine star....what a awesome watch...
Hi Ulimaetsolder. I’m not sure I’ve seen that one. All have to keep my eyes open for it. Do you happen to know the model number? Thanks for watching my video.
I own this watch with black bezel. I love it. Never leaves my wrist. Added a suunto clipper compass and it is a solid adventure watch for anytime spent outdoor! Only thing is I didn’t receive it in this dove bottle package. That was somewhat disappointing but the watch itself well made up for that!
Oh, this watch! I have a sad story about this watch. I bought it, online, and I never got it. Do you know the old adage “ if it’s too good to be true, it ain’t! “? I bought it for 140€ from a scam online store which fooled thousands of watch enthusiast and now, after seeing this beautiful review, I want to buy it again! Thanks for this beautiful review of a beautiful watch ! I love citizen more and more…
Arghh. I’m so sorry to hear that. Did you get reimbursed for the money? Did you have any sort of insurance through your credit card? Sucks there are people out there who would do that. It’s a nice watch. I love the color combo. It’s definitely worth considering again.
@@Time4Life321 they offered a reimbursement, but I’m still waiting. I will reconsider though: it’s a killer watch! My current infatuation is with another (large) citizen: the nighthawk (European version with sapphire and other pizzazz)… we’ll see how the love story goes… Thanks for the review!
Get the Seiko solar with the sapphire crystal 42.5 MM Who cares about the tank, you’ll never use it. Your video and presentation is well done, thanks for posting.
Hi Connor. I’ve seen the automatic versions online but not in person. Would love to try one of those out someday. I think they look great. Thanks for watching.
Hello ghatzidakis. I would recommend waiting until you have the watch in hand, then you can look online at straps and place your watch head over the image to see how it looks together. Personally, I like nato straps but others would insist a dive watch needs to be on rubber. It’s really a personal preference. And the end, chances are you’ll own more than one strap and change it out whenever you want the watch to feel new again. Hope that helps. Enjoy your watch. 👍
Hey Mike. You’re right. I think a lot of people ( myself included sometimes) slip up and say Solar referring to a watch which is not mechanical or Quartz. But technically Solar would be from sunlight. Good catch.

Hey Skip. Thanks for watching. I’ve been meaning to check out one of those Bulova Marine Star watches. Definitely on my list. Enjoy your watch 👍👍
It is my favorite grab and go watch. I put mine on the excellent bracelet from Long Island watch.
It's beautiful. And the new color ways are amazing. I like the tiger stripe and gold case one...

Hello Greg. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. Which Seiko are to referring to? Do you know the model number? I’d love to compare them.
Wow you sound very happy. Very happy
Citizen Eco-drive are freaking awesome 👌 they kill it in the solar game
Hey Sixto. I have a new appreciate for citizen watches this year. They have some really great watches out there. 👍
Eco drive is NOT Solar because it uses EVERY type of light to charge the Watch ! Not only Sunlight 😉
I just bought the automatic version for less than 200 on Amazon but now I want this one too!

@@Time4Life321 not crazy about the movement - Miyota 8204 (primitive compared to NH35/6), but love everything else...

Just got the black one and I'm gonna change the strap. Do you recommend rubber or NATO?

I think the NY0040-09E is a better everyday watch.
Why do you think it’s a better everyday watch?
