😂 i'm doing the same thing : learning 6 languages at once. But I have different levels in each. Everybody say it's crazy but I believe I can do it. Language learning is so fun. I don't have any performance pressure
Nice! Yeah, I think my goal, at least in the short term, is just to be generally knowledgeable in a lot of languages - not necessarily fluent. To be able to get my point across in many languages, but I might not be able to say it perfectly lol. What are your six?
I try to get far in one language before starting another. Just so my brain doesn't get confused. Language burnout is real! So don't pressure yourself, please. Learning multiple languages is achievable and soooo much fun. Just make sure to space them out :) I'm currently learning: 🇲🇽🇰🇷🇻🇳!!!
Thanks for sharing your perspective! I find my brain burns out in the opposite way lol! When I focus on one language in particular, I get tired of it quickly. Switching it up helps keep me motivated. I get confused a lot though, like you mentioned, especially with simple words like "the" or "a" because they're all so similar. For example, the masculine "the" is: El, Il, Le, O, Der, De - Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, German, Dutch. Best of luck to you!
