frustratednomad I know it’s amazing how time passes! Sounds like it’s perfect for you. I’m at 35k in four and a half years. I live in Scotland so distances are pretty vast. The freedom with the chair and car is priceless though.
I'm going to buy a Mercedes sprinter disabled vehicle only with a high roof and short wheelbase I'm also going to put a toilet in it as well ,,nothing as annoying as going somewhere and need the toilet and not a public toilet anywhere ,for me it's a must I don't care about the price ive got quarter of a million in de bank I have muscular dystrophy and I'm knackered now and I need it
Hi I would call it noisy the sound in the video is pretty accurate after a while of using it as it stows away it can squeak rather annoyingly ; as for when your driving you don't hear it at all no rattles from it . just a little advise for you my van is a high roof and fits just through a macdonalds drive through and Starbucks but not KFC and some car parks if you can get the standard roofed van you will be a lot better off I needed the hight to transfer so had to go with the high top . I have had the van 4 years now and never looked back although they are a little thirsty on diesel best I get is about 29 miles to the gallon ,
if its through motability it can be 6 months its quite a long wait or was for me thats all I can go on really , it will feel like forever but just try to be patient I will happen .

thanks for the comment I forgot about this video I posted 3 years in now and I just love my van to bits its done 18000 miles unto now .
