I got a faulty valve core on my deluxe plus. I let the air out then removed the valve core but it broke inside and half the valve core is stuck inside. My bicycle dealer is making a warranty claim on it. Hopefully it all works out.
It seems they really only sell one or 2 sizes. I can't tell you for sure. But if you ask worldwide cyclery or jenson usa they will find the right part for you
@@mikemtbs when I opened the air can I realized that the Nude is a bit different from yours on the video... I'll ask the guys you advised. Thanks mate!

Use what comes with the kit. I think it’s a super light weight oil in the packet. You can order the oil from Jenson USA or any of the major online bike shops
You can remove the 2.5mm spacer to go full 55mm stroke on these shocks. Most 27.5 tires will clear no problem. This is a great mod to pair with the 160mm front upgrade by removing the spacer in the fork.
@kevanray @kevanray Could you point out the spacer in the video? Or by spacer do you mean the bottomless tokens? Have some people interested in your knowledge, including myself. Thanks- also just subscribed to your channel.
@@mikemtbs it’s never touched in this video. It’s in the top section and generally sits under the volume spacers. It may be the blue piece seen in the top part. I’ve seen a bunch of different colors/styles in my research. You can always confirm with a set of calipers though. Volume spacers will generally slide in/out from the side. Mine were orange. The 2.5mm spacer has to come out the hard way with full disassembly/reassembly.
How to assist how to maintenance this rear shock: take it into a rubbish bin and replace with a decent model. I have this one on a cannondale habit, i found it really shameful under any point of view.
Didn't see which video you were talking about, the kit you can get thru your local bike shop. The 35 gold link is above in my comment. The deluxe select kit I got from a local bike shop. You can also call worldwide cyclery and they can help you pinpoint the right kit for you. Hope this helps
Thanks for the very detailed instructions! I think i have enough confidence to do it my self!
Awesome!! Have fun!
Nice job. I feel confident in tackling my shock service now
Thank you very much! That's exactly why I make the videos, to help people out.
Really clear and helpful
Glad to hear that!
Mike,
Thanks for the demonstration!
Where did you get the new gaskets and lubes?
Got them from a local bike shop. But you can get them online at jenson usa, worldwide cyclery, etc.

That sounds like a warranty issue. You shouldn’t have to pay for that at all.
Thank you!
Hi mate. Great video 👌
Can you tell me if those volume spacers will fit a Deluxe RLC3 Nude shock?

Your welcome! Thanks for watching!
What do you think about the shock? How does it feel when riding ?
I think it feels good. I've been abusing it for 4 years and still works well. Great value and performance for the price.
Hello! What are the specifications of the spare parts that have to be changed? (bag that you have the table with the grease, oil and spare parts)
I'll find the part number for you tomorrow morning
@@mikemtbs I would really appreciate it, thank you!!!! 🙏

Where in the video can you see the 2.5 spacer?
