I mean yea you're right... but as a driver first of all you're holding onto the steering wheel and you know when you're gonna turn so you can prepare yourself, passanger doesn't.
@@xXFeralArtsXx They cant see the track? Lol
@@sauercrowder Holding the steering wheel changes everything
I mean, you’re right, but Lewis is holding the wheel and to be fair, Frank is quite severely disabled so doesn’t have a great deal of control over what happens!
Clare Williams, Just 1 Lap...
Lewis n Frank 🙄
The 1 lap girl was a Mercedes employee, probably PR organizer or something like that. Not Claire.

Yes people think its a honor for frank to sit next too lewis but i think its the other way around
@Joe L'Horri that its a honor for lewis to sit next to a legend

Rest in peace, Sir Frank Williams! You've done so much for this sport and your team was way ahead of its time back in the day.
Puts Lewis in a whole new damn perspective for me. I wish i could take back those bad thoughts i have had on him. Sorry Lewis. Didn't mean to. You rock
You should see the way Lewis treats his younger brother! Such a guy!
if this changed your mind, probably his shoes made you hate before
Nah, he's still a douche and a drama queen.
try think about why you even thought of him that way
and consider if you thought about fernando alonso that way, or kimi

The look on Sir Frank Williams face brought a tear to my eye; his smile was priceless
This makes me so emotional after Frank’s passing. Still a racer through and through! Not even flinching when Lewis went flying round those corners! He’s reached that final checkered flag. Rest peacefully Sir Frank Williams!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
He has finally lapped the rest of us. He has joined the race in the sky now
Thank you Lewis for doing this. I'm sure it meant as much to each other, but it's fantastic for us to also share this enduring moment.
Seeing the old guy enjoying himself put a smile on my face. The human ability to empathise is wonderful.
A wonderful ride. I was smiling all the way. Great post!! Thanks for this!!🙏🙇
Same here.
Arthur Harris yeah my friends just asked me what is this I’m watching that has me grinning like that 😂🤫
Aslam Buckus it was such a super nice gesture for an icon.. and with Lewis’s personality and Sir Frank’s pleasure one couldn’t help but to smile. Same thing happened at my house as yours. I’m actually enjoying it again now.
Cheers!!🙇🙏
Me too!!! Eu também!!!
Arthur Harris me too
Without doubt, this is one of the best things I’ve ever seen on youtube. Lewis, you are a star. Sir Frank, you are a legend.
Ah man this brought tears to my eyes. You can see how much he loved Lewis.
What I like in Hamilton is when he seems truly humbled and happy when he meets other sports legends.
Darn shame Frank and Claire won’t be in the paddock anymore. I would have loved to meet them. Thanks for the service of a lifetime Sir Frank Williams!
I'm really happy to have a wonderful friend like you hope you will be a nice friend lol.. Hope you believe and practice
If you can go to Williams hq rumor has it he sometimes still is in the lobby greeting people.

I'm a grown man and this damn near made me cry, just the shear joy on Sir Williams face was worth watching it twice hell even thrice.
You can see how much fun he has and how eager he is to drive a car himself but you can also see how his body is suffering from everything. He always had the spirit.
Lewis is just an all round top guy, I love he's attitude to everything.
Lewis is an outstanding driver and true, sometimes ruthless fighter in motorsport. No doubt, his achievements are deserved.
But he's no gentleman who knows how to behave everywhere.
Not yet.
Richard Rother oh shut up you weirdo.
@@richardrother4946 shut up he's a great guy. He's talks up a little bit but he only seems arrogant compared to the robots of drivers we have nowadays (excluding a few). Stick him in the 80s F1 lineup and he'd for right in

Seeing lewis hamilton actually managing to perform beatiful drifts ( to the limits of a non spec car ) is amazing to see 😌😌
I am not ashamed to say I cried with joy watching this, and I never cry.
"They say I only have 2 laps"
Frank's expression is like "aw man..."
Remember, this man used to run marathons and would run each course his team was racing at. He was a stud. No fear from him the entire time. Go on Frank! Get in there!
I love the face of Frank, like a child with a new toy. Rest in peace the last of the legends in F1.
You can't blame Claire for trying lol .. her and her dad Sir Frank are amazing people. The smiles on both Lewis and Frank's faces the whole time we're just priceless
This is a true gift to Frank Williams, lots of respect for the initiative
Hey Mercedes, that's a nice gesture, we appreciate this a lot
Him going for that 2nd lap is the best thing ever. You see the PURE JOY Frank is having being able to go around Silverstone at a good pace by an amazing champ
3:06 that tire shape shifts scared me for a moment.
tire flavored jelly
Same thing for me, i thought it would explode
Me too - first thought was that it exploded or something. Fascinating to see how “wobbly” it looked. Made me think of the forces and strain a tyre is actually exposed to.
Agree, although I think the camera's rolling shutter makes it look worse.
It looks cool but it’s the cameras shutter speed that is causing the distortion.
Ferraris are red
Toro Rossos are blue
Frank Williams enjoyed the ride
I'm sure Lewis did too
Toro Rossos are blue. How ironic.
Hahahahhaha

I love how Clare wants to convince Lewis to come drive at Williams. The question is with Georgie Russel or Robert Kubica?

This boy, black, who dreamed of being like Ayrton Senna, as a child, who overcame all obstacles, prejudices, only with his talent, I believe it had been a while since Mister Frank had not received a dose of speed and a little with sacule in the belly, a little uncomfortable for him, physical handicap.
But Lewis, with his high spirits and joy, started slowly...
And the coolest thing is that Frank tells him to lighten up, but always asking if the brakes are OK!!!
Sensational for F1 lovers.

Good comment. I read Lewis's Autobiography from the end of 2008, and He never really mentioned any racial Abuse against him. The only thing he really mentioned was a case of Mistaken Identity at Secondary School, Leading to him being incorrectly Excluded. Since then, The Only time I can think of him Publicly adressing his race was the Is it cos i is black comment. He has mentioned it more since, never really expanding. I do not believe in racism, and it shouldnt happen, we need to stop all the people doing it.

Legend! So nice to see these 2 together
The looks of pure joy on Sir Frank's face was magical to see, thank you Mercedes and Lewis.
Two of Britain's finest. Rest in Peace Sir Frank.❤️
Wow. That was great. Probably the first time I’ve seen sir frank Williams smile. Not to mention Lewis having a great time . Love the line “lets do another one”
I watched this on the Williams TH-cam channel, then again on the Formula One channel, and here I had to watch it for the third time. Considering all the years I've been on TH-cam there are probably only 2 times that I've watched a video again, until this one. Had a tear in my eye each time I watched it.
Beautiful to see both legends together. Thank you Frank & Lewis! 👏
