@@clinton9769 As someone who does have track days, no. They do not drive themselves. It takes a significant amount of physical and mental strength to ride a motorcycle at those speeds, at those angles. While a lot of your muscle memory will kick in of you riding your bicycle when you were a kid, there is a lot more to motorcycles. The skill ceiling is astronomically high.
Not trying to go hard on you or anything but this is an incredibly dangerous lie/oversimplification to put out there in the comments of a video that will likely attract aspiring riders.

The fact that Lewis and Valentino picked it up so quickly just goes to show what it takes to be an athlete of their calibre. It takes a 1 in a billion ability to achieve greatness. The kind of person who is incredibly good at anything they try. I’m confident Rossi and Hamilton would have still become world champions if they were in opposite sports. Truely one of a kind human beings the both of them.

@@kevindagod I've seen multiple videos of guys who drive supercars on a regular basis try and drive F1 car and they can't make it around a single corner. Many can't even get the car out of pit lane. This is not similar to other vehicles

this is one of my favourite videos of all time. You can see how different they are from their culture where they grew up and personalities, but the way they respect, admire, love one another and are so humble between all the greatness they both achieved combined. The thankfulness they have for the oportunity and the chance to spend that day together and be able to do that. Legends, truly incredible video

Everytime I rewatch this I watch it with tears in my eyes. This is absolute epic and surreal. I love Lewis, especially being a die hard Ayrton Senna fan. And I've been watching Vale race since '96, every given Sunday. For me he is the ABSOLUTE LEGEND IN MOTORSPORT.

I am a grandma in my mid 70's. Watched and listened to the 2 fast guys (youngsters still 😀). The respect for each other and being able to drive each others wheels, just amazing!! I loved watching and the connection between them, thou it is two totally different sports! Take care guys and enjoy!!

Pretty cool seeing how much their skills overlap in the different motorsports. Not only that but just seeing how much they both appreciated how cool of a moment it was.
As a life long ferrari fan - I came here skeptically. But I was left in absolute awe, witnessing two legends sharing a taste of their racing experiences and imagining just how much they had to sacrifice to achieve everything they have in their respective careers. Smiled all the way through. Nothing but respect and admiration for these fighting spirits. Salute

Every time I watch this video I get a pretty big case of the feels. I’m much more of a MotoGP fan than F1, but I am a fan of racing in general. Seeing these 2 absolute legends getting out there and doing what they love, together, and trying something new and enjoying themselves. Very special and I’m appreciative that I got to see some of it.

It is impossible to hate this two Legends, what a Humble persons both of them are, it is a pleasure to see them spending time together, Hamilton made it look so easy to lean the bike and it looked like he’s been riding bikes forever and Valentino we all know how good of a car driver he is as well.

Lewis is a sporting hero of mine but also always liked Rossi but i would be lying if i said i was an expert on him. but this is a great bit of content, with respect between 2 of the greatest in their sports in history and they are in awe at one another’s talent watching as each does their thing. Both machines are incredibly hard to control but you have to give props to Hamilton for doing as well as he did on the bike. How you physically position your body and throw your own weight around is as important as lines and turn angles in motorcycle racing. Very different animal than F1

As a fan of Alonso, I have to say that I have great respect for Lewis Hamilton. He has proven to be an exceptional driver, perhaps the best, haha. They both know they’re the crème if the crop of their respective sports and they showed pure respect for the intricacies of the other legend’s sport.
Legends at their own games, but still to get accustomed to different sports. Shows how easy it looks when the professionals are at their own games, and how difficult it actually is for anyone else. Massive respect and love for both of them!

As a Verstappen fan, I would voice that Sir hamilton is imo be one of the best legends the sport would ever have, next to schumi. The achievements this man has made in the sport, it would a tough blow to the sport when he retires.
