Bellof's time was beaten several years ago by Porsche with the 919 Evo. Overall lap record is 5:19.
@@bennsport Plenty of racing cars broke the record. Any LMP-1 or 2 will also go far below 6:11. He's talking about legal road cars here.
@@bennsport Yeah correct, I somehow forgot about it. But it is still crazy that soon road cars are able to beat Bellofs time in a full blown race car.
a Beast made by Mercedes-AMG💪🥵
Can't wait for Porsche to break this record
Which Porsche?
You will be waiting along time unless they modify something lol
flawless lines...and it hugs even the jumps...awesome machine!
YEAH RED!!
Looks like its scanning the road ahead to control those flaps. Amazing!!
1:15 spoiler alert
He set the green hell on fire 🔥🔥🔥
I wonder if the gearing is figured for the different stretches. It seems uncannily PERFECTLY geared.
Which is to say they did it perfectly, all the way down to the gear ratios
Der Wagen ist ein Raubfisch und vorne auf dem Kotflügel sind die Kiemen 😂 Klasse Auto! Respekt 😊
When is this car coming to Gran turismo?
Music Free are the Best Videos specially Motorsports Videos. Good Job👍 👏
Surely it could’ve pulled harder up top on the last straight away no? Perhaps 340 kph
Battery empty
Depleted battery, 6 minutes of full throttle reduced the energy from battery
Stunning car, well done to the amg 1 team
Lol. I have never seen any road car go that fast through Foxhole. And 278 km/h under the gantry.
It went 245kph through Schwedenkreuz😂😂😂😂. Insane! Fastest GT3 RS I saw did 218kph.
@@iwonder1216 the GT3 RS is a NA car. This has a hybrid power train and can pick up speed easier. It's not just that it can handle more G in corners.
@@Druze_Tito no the apex speed was 245kph. In other words the lowest speed through the corner. It’s about mechanical grip and downforce.
What a masterpiece of a car!! Two things. The flaps in front operate majestically, if that was an automatic software, hat's off for who did that software (I'm a programmer with 34 years experience), it's absolutely spot on, even anticipating braking zones and area where high lateral G was expected. Secondly, I think the time was conservative. The car isn't twitching nor rolling at all, I believe (scary as it is) it could be pushed even more, that was a "conservative" lap !
The records is fantastic but let's be real here: this car is as much a street car as is a tractor.
You can drive it on the streets, but it's not meant for it - this is a 100% track tool.
That lap time is mind boggling. To go so much faster is incredible.
Looks like the battery was empty on the Dötingerhöhe...
This is my absolute Dream car! One day i will have one. How quickly it hits 300kph it’s stupid!!
Fastest 1000 horsepower car...insane hybrid technology with aerodynamics.
If It Wasn't For The Fact It Has 4 Wheels I'd Call It A Spaceship! .... Wow ... What Skills .... 😮
Sounds like a motorcycle 😝 not a bad thing, just funny when it goes so fast but sounds like 500cc
Irl it sounds like a three cylinder bike. Which sounds holy.
The car honestly looked like it had more to give which is insane
The top speed being 325km/h seems a bit disappointing considering all the active aero it has to reduce drag on the straights
They forgot to turn off the aero when it was on straight line
Top speed is far from being the most important thing when it comes to lap times. In fact even in F1 the top speed isn't much greater than this.
Gercollector did a top speed run in his car and hit 350 kph like nothing he wasn’t even full throttling nor was he using full power this car is easily a 250 mph car without a limiter
@@jonathanng138 1:30 is the fastes part on the track, but there is a bump, thats why they cant push with such a stif car.
The difference between 350kph and 310kph isn’t much in time, but it is a big risk to loos everything.
Sometimes it‘s not worth
You also forgott, that the battery is empty on the last straight.
@@ericship8383 that thing was fully charged and in quali Mode probably. I’m sure there wasn’t enough hybrid power to hit a higher top speed in this attempt
WHAT A CAR ,WAT A DRIVER 🔥🔥. LID VIDEO
German engineering baby. No one comes close. Except the Germans.
This example of the machine is in RED for reasons.
Congratulations Mercedes-AMG!
