Ok so some major shit has happened. A spanish youtuber has submitted the American Lion as her suggestion, and told her fanbase of 800k followers on instagram and 1.7 million on twitch to vote for it. Considering she needs only LESS than 0.3% of her current base to easily surpass everybody else in the entry phase, let alone voting phase tomorrow, I think it is curtains for everyone else. This is the most blatant use of Content Creator bias and is easily the biggest upset of the vote. D Tier on this one chief. It's still objectively better than the otter and deinocheirus but nothing more than that.
EDIT: The thing about voting in exchange for only-fans was apparently an inside-joke that got lost in translation. Still shitty to abuse insanely high followers for this purpose though.

Rhyniognatha is my favorite but we all need to remember that wildcard said that the abilities and attacks will be different so they will balance most things out and i realy like how you tame the rhyniognatha
If gorgonospid was added the devs should make a nameless vs gorgonopsid fight, like that one very epic scene in primeval.
Or copyright kills them, and i know they wont, but it would be sick

Honestly, the goat, bison , gorgonops and beetle are my absolute favorites of this years vote. I have always voted for the bison since it’s debut, and even though it might not ever make it to ark1, I hope wildcard sees it’s popularity and adds it into ark2 eventually. The goat is another amazing addition, with a unique role. The beetle always would’ve been my first pick if the bison wasn’t there. A truly amazing concept, but also one I look at and know that wildcard would not release this creature without any changes to the original concept. The gorgonopsid is also great, and was something that I wasn’t expecting initially. I wouldn’t complain if any of these 4 make it to the game over the rest, as they are of insane quality. But at the same time, it’s unfortunate that only one could make it, because they are just that good.
Agreed, all four are my favorite, but I’m leaning towards either Gorgo or Myotragus.

I think I’d like to see the Gorgonopsid and Nothosaurus in the game the most. Gorgon should’ve been in the game to begin with and Notho would make for an awesome aquatic edition, plus the suggested design for it looks great.
The gorgon was going to be in the game but it got scrapped for something else. The Gorgonops did get second place in the vote though so if we're lucky we may get it

Even tho it just missed out on the top ten I’m so happy the deinocheirus still got so many votes, that’s great to see it’s been getting so much more love in recent years! It’s my favorite dinosaur and I’m looking forward to seeing it in Ark Additions and possibly Ark 2!

The Gorgon should be able to see the tracks like snow owl and kinda see in dark.. from other persons view they see glowing eyes like a trodon . That would make it alot more fun and scary !
Why do I feel like Gorgonopsid is going to have a disclaimer with it considering the name of who suggested it
i dont get the gorgonopsid. Its quite obvious the purlovia is what became of the original gorgonopsid in ark. Why add another large carnivorous therapsid which would look pretty similar.

Rhynio gets into D-Tier because it does a lot of stuff that couldn't get into the final cut, while Balli gets into S-Tier for the exact same reason? I know this is personal opinion, but I don't understand why Rhynio detractors often dislike it for the same exact reason they like Balli. How does that work? Why can't we just enjoy insects together? Also, D-Tier because a certain youtuber talked about the creature? I wasn't related to any other youtuber when I drew, designed and suggested Rhyniognatha during any of the 3 community votings, but even Syntac talked good about it (Thank you so much!). Does that make the creature, ideas and my art bad? I didn't even ask to my followers to vote for my suggestion at any moment, not a single time. 😢

I had no idea about the controversy surrounding the person behind the giant otter, that is absolutely awful. Even tho I from the beginning didn’t really like the creature or find it very interesting, that is a shame to anyone who genuinely wanted it since as you said that will follow the suggestion around everywhere. I guess it missing out on the top ten was a pretty good thing, and if I remember correctly between the 3 fighting for tenth place it actually ranked last. This vote was all over the place especially in its last days, but I think we all dodged a bullet there.
My top three have to be the Gorgonopsid, Nothosaur and Bastion beetle.

I don't feel like the myotragus is worth putting in ark cuz it's abilities are too limited, it also gets undermined by flyers and a resource map which everyone as access to. The 3 I would like to see added are the Gorgonopsid, Bison, and Miracinonyx. Btw the wounding bite on the Gorg is silly and should just be replaced with sent memorization. As biting a giga/carchar seems like a bad idea and it wouldn't be able to reach things like a quetzal or any creature across a barrier.

Bastion beetle: The concept is really fun, though I feel like the adult form is just too overstuffed with offered abilities (while also being too big for a non Scorched Earth bug in my opinion). The larvae idea is very interesting, but may be problematic at fast maturation servers.
What annoys me is that the species Antarctotrechus balli was randomly chosen to fit the bill for an extinct species to fit the vote…
Gorgonopsid: Your creation is very fun. Has its own unique gimmicks that set it apart from others without making them obsolete. Those types of suggestions are always great.
Nothosaurus: Don’t know what to say about it due to the range of suggestions (that can end up completely different to the final result), but as an animal it is unique enough that I’ll like to see it in game.
Giant bison: Sorry but I just love Bovids… PvP it doesn’t sound very unique, but the farm PvE ideas are very interesting.
Myotragus: While it doesn’t feel to be like the extremely weird real life genus fits the concept, the concept itself is still fun by itself. Not much else to say.
Rhyniognatha: To be honest, I hate the concept. It’s literally taking an arthropod that we barely know anything about (so it will count as an “extinct animal” for the vote) and making it an overpowered god in almost every single domain. Best flying mount, one of the best aquatic mounts, the best fighter and the best corpse gatherer. Oh and it secretes a substance that can function as three different valuable resources - two of whom are extremely important.
And while oversizing is extremely common in Ark, making something about 10,000 times larger than the real animal (going by dimensions instead of mass) in absolutely insane.
Hatzegopteryx: So many different suggestions. If it’s added, I just hope that it’ll have good ground combat capabilities.
Acinonyx: A unique concept, but unfortunately not something that would really carve out its own niche.
Panthera atrox: Well that just came out of nowhere… The mentioned “facts” are extremely inaccurate. The suggested abilities are very weird, while the dismount is extremely annoying…
Razana: The description sounds edgy… (“Scientists said that the advanced theropods weren't immune from being hunted by Razana”).
For its abilities, it feels like what Carcharodontosaurus was depicted as in the former votes - a literal Rex replacement that is that is flat out superior (though Char ended up as a Giganotosaurus replacement instead). Making a creature a direct upgrade to another is a bad idea in my opinion.
People wanted Charchar to be a giga contender. That was the point. It was never meant to be a Rex replacement, people just wanted something that could go toe-to-toe with a giga without being completely overpowered. And on that front, I’d say they succeeded! It doesn’t replace a giga, it can’t outright kill one without charging up a ton first. But it’s other abilities, like the spin attack, make it a strong addition to any raid.
I’m with you on pretty much everything else, especially the Rhyniognatha. It feels like the shadowmane but worse. Shadowmane is one of the best water mounts and land mounts, and has way too many abilities. Imagine adding snail abilities and the ability to fly? No thanks!

You know, your contents right up my alley and it’s pretty much the perfect content I like to watch….I just want more every time you post. Perhaps a teir list of creatures of ark even though that would be a huuugeee video or a teir list of kaiju universe since you seem to like Roblox and Godzilla.
I really like the hatzegopterix becuase it carves a very different niche to quetz(gather/weight/plat saddle) and instead could be more of a pvp/pve hunter of sorts. i also think it would be fantastic if it had both a decent ground and air capabilites with an emphasis on hunting prowess while landed. id imagine it to have low health for its size but a very long reach and decent damage,
I liked the deinocheirus, it’s one of my favorite dinosaurs but I can see where you’re coming from. I feel the suggestion could’ve done more with it and that the Giga size was exaggerated, rex size with different abilities would probably be better. I also totally forgot it was even coming to Ark additions so now I’m not to bothered by it just missing out on the top ten. It’ll still be getting some love either way. As for the top ten, by far I’m a big fan of the giant bison, gorgonops and Notosaurus. The cheetah, croc and goat aren’t too bad either, I think they’re cool. I’m not as taken with the beetle as everyone else is, but I have to give big props to the creativity and time put into the beetle, that’s respectable.
The Gorgon must take its place as the superior mid-late game mount and BRING HONOR TO THE PERMIAN DYNASTY

I have played ark over the years and I wouldn't mind seeing some creature votes in ark however I do like the fact we could have a giant bug mount or a land mosa
I’m not going to pin this, but I did want to specify the Gorgon’s long distance tracking. If you track player characters, they’ll be notified that they are being tracked. If you track their tames though, they won’t know.
Example: You see a player flying overhead on an argue. By tracking the argie you can follow them without them knowing.
Gorgon is definitely cool, but the beetle's my favorite of the top couple ones. Voting for both regardless.

Another problem with these votes is people making insane dossiers with ridiculous abilities, most noticeable with the insects. I find it to be super disingenuous & misleading for the creators to bait people in like this, the beetle for example, it's saddle would suit a large herbivore not a tiny insect and even then it's a stretch that Wildcard would add it to a creature of suitable size. Sure lot's of creatures in ARK have been scaled up, some more than others but to scale something up like 300x the size is ridiculous. It's a shame that a tiny insect won the vote, especially with how misleading the dossier was, if it didn't have that crazy dossier there would be no way it would of won. On the otherhand creatures like the Gorgonopsid (my personal favorite) and tbf most of the other creatures that aren't insects stood on their own footing, people actually liked them for what they are, not some made up suggestions that basically make them a fantasy creature at that point. People should be voting based on what the creature ACTUALLY IS and it's obvious inherent characteristics.
A funny thing I noticed too was that with the last creature votes Wilcard had the dossier ready the week after they won, with the insect that won this time we still haven't seen what it will be like, to me that says that even Wildcard didn't know what abilities to give this creature or what it is going to look like because there isn't much to go on IRL. At this point though I'd rather it be a larger rideable creature closer to the dossier than what it actually was because otherwise it will be a BIG L. Imagine we get some tiny insect we can't ride or some gimmicky swarm based creature, that would be a HUGE L.

I’m a fan of loaded crysis but had no idea he did something bad what did he do?
My top 10 (idek which ones won but alr): 1 rhyniognatha, adding an early game tame at this point would be very useless for a lot of servers + it’s unique due to being a swimming flyer and an insect and I love the idea of a player not being safe after taming their first flyer 2 cheetah, I love the idea of a proper speed demon that is land based and while it’s more of an early game tame I still think it could be viable due to its pvp potential 3 razana Rex tier not annoying kapro? Hell yeah I love it and I need more crocodilians in my life especially land based ones 4 myotragus, I love the design it’s cute ash it’s a good traveling mount which helps it a lot don’t care much about the abilities though 5 beetle I really like the idea of a giant beetle and the ideas for it however I don’t think they’re going to be able to fly and still go into bossfights even if it’s only manticore I don’t believe they’ll be viable for anything except tanking and rock golem taming with maybe a bit of shooting in pvp 6 nothosaurus I love nothosaurus as a creature and the design on the second explorer note looks amazing except I think it’s niches have already been filled by kapro, sarco, bary, spino and mosa 7 hatze I want more flyers and currently we don’t have to many especially realistic ones but I don’t like the suggestion itself 8 gorgonopsid I like sinapsids and I love the gorgonops in particular but I don’t see many uses for it as a bloodhound would be kind of useless and other niches it could fit are already filled by direwolf, thyla and carno 9 deinocheirus I like deinucheirus itself but it wouldn’t really fit in ark + we already have the theri and I can’t see it having interesting abilities besides it being a herbivorous giga 10 giant bison, come it’s just a cow it has special meat like mutton which well the sheep already fills that niche it’s strong sure but I’d still prefer a rhino and the milk idea is kind of boring besides that the raids would be insanely buggy and annoying to deal with similar to osd’s on extinction and again it’s literally a big cow. Also liked that you called out the creator of the otter and loaded crysis (I didn’t include the American lion bc who tf would want an ordinary lion)

Now that the votes officially over, were there any suggestions that weren’t in the top ten that caught your attention? For me there was a few, I liked the elephant bird, haast eagle, livyatan, and koolasuchus. I’d be curious to know what, if any, interested you or how you felt about those suggestions. As for the official top ten, I liked the bison, gorgonops, and nothosaurus the most. The rest are all pretty decent, I can’t really say I actively dislike any, maybe only the sky Giga cause while awesome on paper I just can’t see them giving it a a quarter of its proposed abilities in game. I liked the deinocheirus and wasn’t much of a fan of the otter but since they didn’t get into the final top ten I’m not counting them.
Truth be told with these votes I was supportive of mostly everything. I didn’t think too much about upvoting. Only exceptions were if they clashed with ARK Additions (Livyatan) or were legit not that well thought out at all (Kronosaurus)
@@ScanovatheCarnotaurus That’s a good way of looking at it, largely I felt the same way except I did upvote quite a few choices. Also I actually didn’t know the Livyatan was coming to Ark Additions so that’s pretty cool, and now that I know the deinocheirus also will be part of it I’m very excited. Still holding out hope for a bunch of other suggestions to possibly be in Ark 2, specifically the birds I mentioned but I’d be happy with mostly anything.
Hatzegopteryx should be added because I'm assuming people think it's just gonna be a quetzal reskin, but what if it's FASTER??? I'm also assuming ittle be aggressive to to make flying less easy, I really want it but I'm guessing it won't get it which is sad
I'd love to have the Gorgonopsid in the game. The Giant bison wouldn't be too bad either. Nothosaurus would be nice as the Triassic is barely represented in the game. I like the Cheetah as it means we could get another cat in the game.
I think if done well, Deinocheirus could be a cool animal to have. I don't care too much for the idea to make it Giga size. It should be at least Rex size or slightly bigger.

You can’t expect the devs to put the creatures into the game with the abilities that were recommended. Most of the abilities would be completely unbalanced in either PVP or PVE gameplay. Quite frankly, I think it’s a miracle that the game still somewhat works in both game modes even after 5 full on DLCs and 5 other community maps that added one or more new creatures with them (only 5 there because I don’t think center added anything new). The “do everything” bug is a perfect example of that. Some abilities are more likely to get added than others, but dont expect the abilities to be added with the creature. (Plus, the Desmodus was absolutely epic, so I’d trust ‘em to give creatures cool abilities).
On another note, I’m glad the devs are actually taking initiative to give the community something to look forward to while Ark 2 gets developed. Since there’s no holiday events on anything other than Switch this year, we needed something to keep us going.
If i could vote my choice would be cheetah or razana, but other ones i think also pretty good choices, expect lion and deino with rhynio. Deino like you said we have good amount of similar dinos + AC2 have pretty good one and Garuga gonna make his own that for sure gonna be good. Rhynio i just don't really like overall and Lion.. You know..

As someone who loves big cats I gotta give props to the giant cheetah. A fairly unknown creature who managed to stay in the vote the whole time, that’s pretty cool. That all being said, the American lion who skyrocketed into the top ten last minute by a youtuber I feel differently on. I’d love more extinct cats, but given how the latter was brought into the top ten it’s just gonna cause a lot of anger and discussion in the community, and I can see why.

But jokes aside I checked the suggestion today and it looks like they merged it with someone who suggested the cave lion way earlier, I really hope the original poster doesn’t get harnessed. They submitted the idea prior to knowing what that youtuber would do and frankly they put a lot more effort and creativity in their suggestion without asking for upvotes in a way that I could respect. I hope this is addressed by the community.

@@beastmaster0934 Even tho the final voting hasn’t started yet we already know it won’t be there since it wasn’t in the top ten. It came in 12th, and of everything mentioned in this video it came in last. Say what you will about the other suggestions or how the cave lion is only here cause of an influencer, but given what the dire otter creator has been doing I think the creature being pushed out of the top ten was us dodging a huge bullet.

Honestly as someone who likes both owls and obscure extinct creatures ornimegalonyx would probably make a pretty unique shoulder pet. Ark could always benefit from getting more prehistoric birds.

Welp Rhyniognatha won... I hope that amber the ark devs showed with it winning is a sign they'll take the creature and not any of the concept. Hell I'll Improvise one: a biohazard, a shoulder mount that can suck your blood when you get sick to store the disease(either swamp fever or mega rabies.) Once it stores the disease you can later throw it and pass the disease on by letting your mosquito bite it. This would prevent any power creep for other creatures while giving it a unique roll that only dodo gets close to having. It also makes a lot of sense due to mosquitos being disease vectors.

Deinocherius, I wouldn't make Giga 3.0, given its diet of fish and plant matter, maybe both tank and gatherer, it can fight, but depends on how many enemies attack it.

Honestly? The top 4 + Gorgon are all cool. Bison's my favorite, followed by the Goat, followed by the Nothosaurus. I've always wanted a giant bison in ARK since I started playing back in 2016. The goat, and the notho: I love their artwork which is pathetically what's drawing me in.
Honestly the only way I see the rynio being properly added to ark is if they make it like the titanasour so you cant level it up and it starves to death and you cant do anything about it

Bastion beetle all the way if wildcard stay true to its concept(can remove the armor upgrade, that's kinda stupid.) But def gorgon if they aren't gonna stay true to bastion. I want the Bison because I'm tired of waiting for boosted rates every week or two weeks, and I have commitments. I'm a PVE breeder who breeds Wyverns, Rock Drakes, and Crystal Wyverns. The Bison may not be a gamechanger, but definitely a lifesaver for us breeders.
As much I would want the gorgonopsid to be in the game I feel like it’s to late for it to be in the game, I feel like the creature would’ve been great to add in the first few years of ark, but now that there’s robots flying dolphins I don’t really feel like there’s a place for this creature I think wild card should add in the gorgonpisd in ark 2,it’ll be better than adding in the creature now in my opinion.
I really want to see the Ratana nothosaurae or gorgonopsid

9:15 , so if anything this bug should be able to suck life outta wild Dino’s to slowly gain health kinda like the argentavis . It can get a weight reduction on kiten/certain? Or maybe even wood an stone? Give it lots of Stam with decent DmG equivalent to the Rex ? Give it the ability to have a platform saddle ? 🎉 idk I think it could have a lot of potential. Add weakness to flames 🔥 😂🎉

Right now we only have a gimped therizinosaurus, the brontosaurus and the boss level titanosaurus.
While boring ugly carnivores dominate the meta

Hey i just wanted to Say that your video is good but i dont really understand your choice with rhyniognatha and bastion bettle, the rhynio in is description is not the best flyer but he is consider as a glass canon and so it would not be not too tanky and ok it got some things that are busted but the bastion bettle is just too much for me, think about the canon and turrets they gave him that looks like a Andrewsarchus but 10 Times better, thats busted and look at the buff they gave him. i really Hope he will not be like a this. Well its still a good vidéo 👍

You thought gen 2 was the best DLC? Nah, Aberration, although that one does move further away from dinosaurs than any other DLC.
Also, I hate the “half a dozen large therapods” argument because, guess what, therapods are a whole subgroup of dinosaurs for a reason! There’s a lot of therapods dinosaurs! Plus, I actually really liked how the Charchar turned out, it has its own unique feel to it, much like most of the other large therapods. The worst offenders for feel is probably the Allo and giga (giga just feels like a large Rex, Allo feels like a fast Rex) but they still handle uniquely enough that it’s never been too much of a problem for me.
This is a game that sells because you ride on a T-Rex (or spino, in my case. I bought it cause I could ride a spino). You can’t fault people for wanting more of that my friend. Any of these creatures would be cool. Just saying not to knock on the therapods.
It’s a dinosaur based game they should add actual dinosaur like creatures
I personally want the bison and Cheetah to win, kinda disappointed that the bastion beetle is in first rn imo it’s super lame 😅.
