As a big snake person, I’m excited about the Gigantophis being a constrictor, especially since Titanoboa out of all the creatures in Ark was shafted the most when comparing it to its real life counterpart.
@@tristandowning5609 I understand what you are saying, but there are many creatures in ark that aren't in their realistic environments or don't have the same anatomy or niche. Also, an obscure creature would be great because it would inform the public of a new creature that they have never heard before. This has even happened to me with the desmodus and the rhyniognatha. Plus ratites similar to the Moa do live in deserts such as Australia's emu and Africa's ostrich.
@@tristandowning5609 New Zealand actually has deserts, specifically Rangipo desert on the north island. New Zealand is a very diverse land mass, it’s usually only acknowledged for its forests but it does have lots of opens spaces, mountains and as mentioned before, a desert region. The moa submission did acknowledge them being forest dwelling birds, but also said that the real species were adapted to essentially all of New Zealand’s regions.
I’m not from New Zealand but I am a fan of its extinct wildlife so I really like the moa suggestion and I’m glad that it seems a lot of people do too. Even if it doesn’t win I’d like to see it in Ark 2, and while on the topic of New Zealand wildlife I think the Haast eagle would be a great addition as well.
The Fasolasuchus is so cool! Honestly looks like a desert mosasaur. If they made it able to move super fast in the desert, plus the platform saddle. Literally a desert Mosa 😁

Imagine them adding mechanics to where it essentially "swims" in the sands similar to the desert mechanics in Zelda BOTW (can't remember that desert croc creature name) It'll be the Deathworm killer/alpha of the land/desert whereas the wyverns will be the alphas of the sky.
@@thenerdyflutist_ I just really think of it being the natural predator of deathworms and it would be good for holding them so they don't bury which is annoying cuz sometimes it despawns for me plus making rock golems easier to tame would be a great plus

As someone who absolutely despises titanoboa and loves snakes irl, I love the idea of another snake - also with the Moa, you actually have them in your mod pack! I’ve been playing the caballus pack one and found a couple moas so far
It's literally just volvidon. That said I really hope it's not the winner. Literally adding a grappling hook to the roll rat saddle and you have this creature in the context everyone cares about. Also the art is literally just not anything like the real animal and is actively worse false advertising than the big fly.

For anyone who doesn’t know, the art for the ‘armadilosuchus’ is literally just a stylised Volvidon from Monster Hunter. The only real changes are the face and the tail lol. But yeah the rolling, the tongue, the colour, the scale patterns... it’s literally just a slightly more reptilian Volvidon haha
I think we might get another TLC. There is no way they will look at the Plesiosaur in ultra HD UE5 rendering and decide it's acceptable. Right? RIGHT?!
I'm hoping for the jumping spider personally, but there's a lot of good creatures that would be pretty cool to have on Scorched here. Something somebody else mentioned that I forgot about is that the jumping spider would potentially fit better into Ab if it doesn't win Scorched Earth's creature vote. It'd definitely be awesome to see them with the luminescence that Aberrant variants possess.
Unlike the last vote, there’s actually a good handful here that are solid options and I’d be perfectly fine with any of them. The bipedal herbivore Ledumahadi looks badass, the gigantoraptor looks like a beautiful therizinosaurus, the giant moa is an awesome idea, the fasalosuchus is also so cool. Really digging these, I’ll only be upset if the bastion beetle or the spider wins because I’m personally not a fan of bugs
I agree! Fasolasuchus would be my preference, but the Ledu would be a nice alternative. After that, my biggest preference is that it is something other than a bug.
Honestly I'd be down. It, gorgo, bastion, moa, fossilo, giganto. Mega technically but eh are the best fits for SCORCHED so I hope it's one of them..... Especially since if jumping spider wins it won't be on ab and that's a waste of the idea prove me wrong.
@shade7244 no I didn't make any it just makes sense on ab way more than scorched, I'd like it on ab but I'm honestly more concerned with getting a fitting dino on scorched rn. Though I'd be ok with anything but armadillo croc. That shit is simultaneously nearly redundant to the roll rat or will make it irrelevant as presented while also being a horrendous case of false advertising.
Oh boy. Was super excited when you said they’d add a real life dinosaur to the game, but as usual, there are insects again. I swear if an insect wins AGAIN, I will probably not even bother with Ark Ascended haha. Gigantoraptor on the other hand? That would be awesome. Having a new actual dinosaur in the game would be so much better (it *is* a dinosaur game)- plus it fits scorched SO well.
I agree we should have a dino/mammal here, I'd probably go big on abb since it fits with how each map deviates more from real life. Plus jumper could be great with abs verticality
@@samfish2550 yeah with the whole theme of Aberration as a whole, a new bug would definitely work much better there than on Scorched- I wouldn’t complain if the jumping spider won the Aberration vote since it actually fits quite well on that map
@Argentavis House I’m aware, that’s not exactly what I meant by that- more I mean dinosaurs are one of the main focuses and selling points of the game.
@@ArgentavisHouse I mean to be fair there can be a lot of variety within "2 legged reptile" in both function and form, and while I'm not against adding more bugs (I think bastion beetle fits pretty well and is higher up in my vote) but I also think that giant bug is both a immediate back to back win which reduces a feeling of variety and also just something that can be better used in later maps, scorched with all of its wide open spaces just feels like a better place for a dino then ab or extinction (I'd argue extinction shouldn't even be a 1 to 1 dino given it's vibe)
If Fasolasuchus wins I hope they plan on making it look like the one in the movie 65, because that design was awesome (and I'd be down for it being as massive as the movie version too). I mean that fan art was cool, but still

Heya! Gigantoraptor submitter here! Still watching through the whole vid, but a bit of a shame that the dossier art in my post didn't make it to the thumbnail. Will edit this comment to give feedback once I'm done watching through Massive thing to note is that mechanics actually do matter quite a bit to the contest! You mention how Dinopithecus lost guns for grenades, but in the submission itself, it actually did have grenades suggested. I think it's really important to go over the mechanics in each thread since they have a pretty decent chance to get into the game, and people generally do not read a single thing in them. Was a bit disappointed to see you only talk about the look of my submission, thought all the vanilla balanced imprint-helping would really be interesting to you as a massive breeder. Going off look as well, I only included the Dave Melvin art as an example of what WC had originally planned. I believe there's a new dossier artist for ARK now, and with the way they've been taking their designs recently, they make critters a little more distinctive. I don't think the reference I put in the artwork would translate to the actual critter, I'd imagine it'd be more in line to the main dossier on the post My top 3 is probably my own, the fluffy jumping spider and Ledumahadi, but I'd be happy with anything up to my 6th choice! May the best creature win!
I’m rooting for the ledumahadi or moa. I’d be fine with like six of the other suggestions winning, but those are my favorites. Personally I don’t think we need more end game Giga rivals anymore. We got a couple now, I want something that fills a different role. Plus on Scorched I really don’t think and endgame killing machine is extremely needed. Really like a lot of these suggestions, very happy with the creativity people put into these.
So good to see Scorched Earth getting some love from Wildcard!! Since every creature except the elusive Phoenix is very much available in nearly every other map in the game, there's been so little reason to actually go back to it. Excited for this!
The Jumping Spider took the numero uno spot on my list. I absolutely love jumpers, Peacock Spiders especially, and I'd absolutely love to see 'em hopping around in the canyons and badlands. Armadillosuchus, Gigantoraptor and Ledu are also up there for me.
I think this is one of the only creature votes where a majority of the creatures I'm fine with so I won't be upset about any of them winning. With that said, that spider is adorable and I'm kinda pushing for it.
@@kade-qt1zu yea, this is easily the best vote so far. the ledu sauropod thing sounds and looks so aweswome, I want a medium sized and more mobile sauropod. the armor and weapons probably wont be added, but I like the idea of a duel and the stamina drain
dude there are some really banger ideas here, personally i love the fasalasuchus and the gorgonops most, i think they would fit in the most, maybe not as deathworm hunters for the gorgonops but still
I feel like at this point if the Bastion Beetle doesn't take first it may as well get the pity addition like they did with the other critter that kept coming in 2nd. that said the Fasolasuhus is the new dino I didn't know I ever needed, but now I gotta have
I hope to god the Gorgon, bastion beetle and Armadillo lose so they can get that treatment, it would be best case scenario if we got 4 creatures instead of 3 and I imagine the devs have probably noticed this is like the third time in a row
I really like leduma but I think they would be great on extinction, like another tame you have to travel to the sunken forest for to be a heavy hitting tame with iguanodon like combat in the but in this sense they’re push back attacks for corrupted animals in the wasteland I think would be great (:

Fasolasuchus kinda looks like Great Jagras from monster hunter world, except cooler. If the snake gets added I hope they make all the snakes breedable cuz that seems silly that they never implemented breeding for the titanoboa or basilisk, seems like a waste of potential
I really like the House Bird hope its a early tame if it gets chosen so you can start like a nomadic style. Spider is also really cute I bet it will be the ultimate cave creature untill the Rock Drake and Desmodus comes. I imagine it will be able to wall climb and with the web ziplines it will be able to do the next best thing after flying in caves. Fasolasuchus just looks epic.
So judging by all the comments I’ve been seeing via likes and sheer quantity I can make a prediction. Of the ten, it looks like the final four fighting it out for the number one spot will be -The Giant Moa -Fasolasuchus -Jumping Spider -Ledumahadi Personally I think the spider or fasolasuchus has the best chance, but I’d really love for the moa or ledumahadi to come out on top. The moa seems to have that strong, “its fun unique suggestion that fits the map” backing from a lot in the community the bison once had which is really cool. Both of the last two were the top two on my list. Whatever way it goes at least these are all interesting creatures.
Agreed. I put it in second after the ledumahadi, I really liked the suggestion and I really want more birds in Ark. I think a lot could be done with it.
I wanted for the longest time the Bastion Beetle but for this one because it’s scorched I felt I had to go “lore” went for the giant lizard. Can’t remember it’s name but then the Gorgonops as I feel it would fit in perfectly
In its dossier, the Gorgonops should be classified as Inostrancevia or Rubidgea. The actual genus Gorgonops was quite small. Individual gorgonopsids (they group of carnivirous synapsids) are sometimes just called Gorgonops for short even though it is not their real genus.
I vote the moa and armadillosuchus my top 2 just because I want Moa's Ark to happen, and armadillosuchus is such a goofy creature to me. The pro-sauropod, whose name I forget too, is my 3rd choice - solely based on the creature. Gigantophis, maip, and the beetle are my bottom 3 for different, but similar reasons. We really don't need yet another pvp monster when golems and 3 wyverns already occupy the map. I worry maip would just be large theropod #15. The beetle's concept is so out there that I feel Wildcard will keep zero of an already neat, but boring the more you look at it concept. The rest are just neutral for me with gigantoraptor being 6 or 7, for just like maip, having the chance to be large theropod #15, and the moa just being more interesting and unique to me. Fasalosuchus is the only pvp monster I see as unique, I also just like the idea of a Krayt Dragon lookalike on the dunes of Scorched.
honestly the spider, desert lizard and the giga bird are the best. i wish we could have all three of them. But we desperately need water dinos!! i would love a water dino map and a diverse selection.. it has the most creature history and the least amount of dinos.
about the little jumper spider i think you were talking about the anime "So I'm a Spider, So What?" its really nice but the ending leaves you wanting more
i will say i love the thought of a gorgonops getting added to the game but if they did add one i would say the Inostrancevia alexandri would be more fitting especially for the scorched earth map as they where believed to have lived in the deserts during the permian era and fossils have been found that have been over 9.8 feet tall and 11 feet long which i think would make them a great asset when playing scorched.
Yes, Syntac looked at a size measurement for the genus Gorgonops, which is small. Inostrancevia or Rubidgea would im fact be the appropriate size. Sometimes people refer to any gorgonopsid as simply "gorgonops", even if it's not part of that genus.
I love the look of the Fasolosuchus, and the idea of a bigger predator always excites me, especially lizard types but in all honesty I don't see it winning as most would prefer the practicality of a creature compared to looks like a blood stalker compared to a ferox as cool as the ferox is i would take the bloodstalker as its more practical, so my guess is the armadilosuchus might win
Fasolasuchus is interesting. On one hand, it looks cool. It's like a mosasaur/Magmasaur hybrid that looks right at home in a desert. On the other hand, it's kinda weird seeing a loricatan (basically a giant land crocodile) get turned into a lizard. Instead of the antlion-style trap in the art, it would be cool if it could "swim" through sand like Ark Additions' Concavenator, and wait for prey like a crocodile - with only the top of its head exposed.
I seriously can't wait for this year's winner. I hope it's someone good and I mean excited for a new creature coming as well. I really wish It was all of them. But I guess one creature is fair. I hope it's a good one as a maxim for the other 1 that's coming.
They say that ARK change a titanboa from a constrictor to a viper. In real life, the TITANOBOA (with an "o" that ARK removed) was part of the Boidae family (boas and pythons). But chemicals in the skull show it probably hunted in rivers or even the sea. While it may have constricted prey, it hunted fish and turtles more often. Also, Titanoboa was much larger than ARKs "titanboa". It was also larger than Gigantophis. Perhaps the "Titanboa" is a different creature than the Titanoboa altogether, and is completely mythical.
I kinda want the jumping spider to win. I LOVE spiders (I mean, I keep 11 tarantulas in my bedroom, so…) and having a proper, useful spider in ARK would be cool. It would be awesome, if it wins, if they'd take inspiration from the peacock jumping spider and have it have a similar ability to the Sinomacrops, except that it's rideable.
Id argue that it's way better for ab both functionally and esthetically speaking in the lush upper caves. It really doesn't use scorched to it's fullest at all.
My personal top 3 is the Fasolasuchus, I'd love my Sarlacc Pitt Yutylania, Maevia Eureka, its adorable and would be awesome to have in the game, always love new spiders, and 3 is between the Ledumahadi and Gigantophis
I could see the spider winning, but I could also see the Devs putting it in either way because it's another cute creature that's actually popular everywhere currently.
I really like the suggestions this time around. Personally I like the gigantoraptor, moa, and ledumahadi the most, but I’d be content with seeing the others win. It’s been hard to guess what could win as usually the general comments on Twitter and especially TH-cam give you an idea of what people are voting for. Either way, excited to see what wins.
I will vote only for the beetle knowing wildcard will change its abilities. I really really hopes the beetle wins this time or get added as an extra creature to ark, the maip and the moa is good too. My top 3 is the beetle, maip and moa
they coulda (the survivors) breed up raptor and lizards to make them better for the maip?? like to conter the wyverns and have a chance. but the fasosuchus is by far the coolest (in my opinion)
Thanks for another awesome breakdown, time to cast some votes now. Muahahaha jumper as 1 (i own 3 tarantulas and while were getting the rhynio i believe more bug love is okay 2. Fasolosuchus, looked at the submissions a week or so ago and i think i missed this or overlooked somehow but in the video it took me by surprise, i think a medium sized lizard to take us around the map and maybe be a bit of a competitor to the megalania would be cool 3. Gigantophis basilisks are hard and titan boa is a pain in the ass to tame, would love to have a medium snake to actually mount and ride.....in ark...not like nevermind.. I would like to see more knockout tames, while i believe unique tames are interesting i feel like everything added recently has had its little twist which is good but i wouldnt want to see it oversaturated so to speak, possibly in the minority in that but it is my own opinion that is all. there's one problem scorched earth is COVERED in sabertooths, wolves, hyenas and thylas the gorgo would not make carnivore mammal hell any more interesting
New creature concept: Mega lichorna,a big milipid with 30 lil legs that acts like a purlovia,hiding at cave entrance's or in mountains living in herds of max of 4 and like a basilick sticking its head out to see predators. Atack:acts like a bola and draining its prey's health living it alone at 30%-40% hp. Taming: small harmless creatures like dodos,lystros....and at 50% taming you will need to build a save nest for an mega lichorna egg. Tamed:acts as a shoulder pet that jumps of you at any cost and borrows its self when sensing danger,it can be put on large tames head as a trophy mount. Max oficial drops:69😎😉 chitin,13 meat,7 black perls,and 12 silica. Colors:grey and black to blend in with stones and obsidian,yellow-ish for sand,and brown
For the Megaraptor, I could see two possible 'storylines.' One is that the Wyverns started overrunning everything, so the Overseer had to create yet another creature to curb the Wyvern's breeding. (Humans have certainly had enough experience with introducing invasive species, either on purpose or accidentally, and had them take over new habitats.) The other would be that over enough time there might have been some evolution on the Arks, and this creature evolved to live on Wyvern eggs, and learned to eat dead Wyvern claws to protect itself from the Wyvern's breaths. It might have started out small and just raided nests, but eventually grew bigger and more ferocious as it learned to be immune to their world's apex predator.
22:32 honestly, maip seems like a creature they would downsize to the size of like a carno or a bit bigger, since if we were using ark standards and irl measurements itd be around the size of an allo
As someone from New Zealand, having a giant moa would be cool. It was a native species here until it was hunted to extinction. So it's my number one spot at the moment. The jumping spider is second, as much as I hate Spiders, jumping spiders are pretty cute.

It is volvidon. That's how it looks and I thought it were funny but not worth it honestly. The moa is the coolest in my opinion

For anyone who doesn’t know, the art for the ‘armadilosuchus’ is literally just a stylised Volvidon from Monster Hunter. The only real changes are the face and the tail lol. But yeah the rolling, the tongue, the colour, the scale patterns... it’s literally just a slightly more reptilian Volvidon haha

I'm hoping for the jumping spider personally, but there's a lot of good creatures that would be pretty cool to have on Scorched here.
Something somebody else mentioned that I forgot about is that the jumping spider would potentially fit better into Ab if it doesn't win Scorched Earth's creature vote. It'd definitely be awesome to see them with the luminescence that Aberrant variants possess.
Unlike the last vote, there’s actually a good handful here that are solid options and I’d be perfectly fine with any of them. The bipedal herbivore Ledumahadi looks badass, the gigantoraptor looks like a beautiful therizinosaurus, the giant moa is an awesome idea, the fasalosuchus is also so cool. Really digging these, I’ll only be upset if the bastion beetle or the spider wins because I’m personally not a fan of bugs
I agree! Fasolasuchus would be my preference, but the Ledu would be a nice alternative. After that, my biggest preference is that it is something other than a bug.

Honestly I'd be down. It, gorgo, bastion, moa, fossilo, giganto. Mega technically but eh are the best fits for SCORCHED so I hope it's one of them..... Especially since if jumping spider wins it won't be on ab and that's a waste of the idea prove me wrong.
@shade7244 no I didn't make any it just makes sense on ab way more than scorched, I'd like it on ab but I'm honestly more concerned with getting a fitting dino on scorched rn. Though I'd be ok with anything but armadillo croc. That shit is simultaneously nearly redundant to the roll rat or will make it irrelevant as presented while also being a horrendous case of false advertising.
Oh boy. Was super excited when you said they’d add a real life dinosaur to the game, but as usual, there are insects again. I swear if an insect wins AGAIN, I will probably not even bother with Ark Ascended haha. Gigantoraptor on the other hand? That would be awesome. Having a new actual dinosaur in the game would be so much better (it *is* a dinosaur game)- plus it fits scorched SO well.
I agree we should have a dino/mammal here, I'd probably go big on abb since it fits with how each map deviates more from real life. Plus jumper could be great with abs verticality

@@ArgentavisHouse I mean to be fair there can be a lot of variety within "2 legged reptile" in both function and form, and while I'm not against adding more bugs (I think bastion beetle fits pretty well and is higher up in my vote) but I also think that giant bug is both a immediate back to back win which reduces a feeling of variety and also just something that can be better used in later maps, scorched with all of its wide open spaces just feels like a better place for a dino then ab or extinction (I'd argue extinction shouldn't even be a 1 to 1 dino given it's vibe)

Massive thing to note is that mechanics actually do matter quite a bit to the contest! You mention how Dinopithecus lost guns for grenades, but in the submission itself, it actually did have grenades suggested. I think it's really important to go over the mechanics in each thread since they have a pretty decent chance to get into the game, and people generally do not read a single thing in them. Was a bit disappointed to see you only talk about the look of my submission, thought all the vanilla balanced imprint-helping would really be interesting to you as a massive breeder.
Going off look as well, I only included the Dave Melvin art as an example of what WC had originally planned. I believe there's a new dossier artist for ARK now, and with the way they've been taking their designs recently, they make critters a little more distinctive. I don't think the reference I put in the artwork would translate to the actual critter, I'd imagine it'd be more in line to the main dossier on the post
My top 3 is probably my own, the fluffy jumping spider and Ledumahadi, but I'd be happy with anything up to my 6th choice! May the best creature win!

I’m rooting for the ledumahadi or moa. I’d be fine with like six of the other suggestions winning, but those are my favorites. Personally I don’t think we need more end game Giga rivals anymore. We got a couple now, I want something that fills a different role. Plus on Scorched I really don’t think and endgame killing machine is extremely needed. Really like a lot of these suggestions, very happy with the creativity people put into these.

So good to see Scorched Earth getting some love from Wildcard!! Since every creature except the elusive Phoenix is very much available in nearly every other map in the game, there's been so little reason to actually go back to it. Excited for this!
The Jumping Spider took the numero uno spot on my list. I absolutely love jumpers, Peacock Spiders especially, and I'd absolutely love to see 'em hopping around in the canyons and badlands. Armadillosuchus, Gigantoraptor and Ledu are also up there for me.

I think this is one of the only creature votes where a majority of the creatures I'm fine with so I won't be upset about any of them winning. With that said, that spider is adorable and I'm kinda pushing for it.

Leduma needs to be the new ark creature, it’s so cute and would be very useful. Literally a berry gathering spino or giga.
I really like leduma but I think they would be great on extinction, like another tame you have to travel to the sunken forest for to be a heavy hitting tame with iguanodon like combat in the but in this sense they’re push back attacks for corrupted animals in the wasteland I think would be great (:

Fasolasuchus kinda looks like Great Jagras from monster hunter world, except cooler. If the snake gets added I hope they make all the snakes breedable cuz that seems silly that they never implemented breeding for the titanoboa or basilisk, seems like a waste of potential

I really like the House Bird hope its a early tame if it gets chosen so you can start like a nomadic style. Spider is also really cute I bet it will be the ultimate cave creature untill the Rock Drake and Desmodus comes. I imagine it will be able to wall climb and with the web ziplines it will be able to do the next best thing after flying in caves. Fasolasuchus just looks epic.

Personally I think the spider or fasolasuchus has the best chance, but I’d really love for the moa or ledumahadi to come out on top. The moa seems to have that strong, “its fun unique suggestion that fits the map” backing from a lot in the community the bison once had which is really cool. Both of the last two were the top two on my list. Whatever way it goes at least these are all interesting creatures.
The giant moa is literally the only original dino in the vote, its unique, its something different, and just sounds overall fun.

I wanted for the longest time the Bastion Beetle but for this one because it’s scorched I felt I had to go “lore” went for the giant lizard. Can’t remember it’s name but then the Gorgonops as I feel it would fit in perfectly
Jumper is my favorite, it’s a better araneo, and kinda would be like the frog of scorched.
In its dossier, the Gorgonops should be classified as Inostrancevia or Rubidgea. The actual genus Gorgonops was quite small. Individual gorgonopsids (they group of carnivirous synapsids) are sometimes just called Gorgonops for short even though it is not their real genus.

I vote the moa and armadillosuchus my top 2 just because I want Moa's Ark to happen, and armadillosuchus is such a goofy creature to me. The pro-sauropod, whose name I forget too, is my 3rd choice - solely based on the creature.
Gigantophis, maip, and the beetle are my bottom 3 for different, but similar reasons. We really don't need yet another pvp monster when golems and 3 wyverns already occupy the map. I worry maip would just be large theropod #15. The beetle's concept is so out there that I feel Wildcard will keep zero of an already neat, but boring the more you look at it concept.
The rest are just neutral for me with gigantoraptor being 6 or 7, for just like maip, having the chance to be large theropod #15, and the moa just being more interesting and unique to me. Fasalosuchus is the only pvp monster I see as unique, I also just like the idea of a Krayt Dragon lookalike on the dunes of Scorched.
honestly the spider, desert lizard and the giga bird are the best. i wish we could have all three of them. But we desperately need water dinos!! i would love a water dino map and a diverse selection.. it has the most creature history and the least amount of dinos.

i will say i love the thought of a gorgonops getting added to the game but if they did add one i would say the Inostrancevia alexandri would be more fitting especially for the scorched earth map as they where believed to have lived in the deserts during the permian era and fossils have been found that have been over 9.8 feet tall and 11 feet long which i think would make them a great asset when playing scorched.
Yes, Syntac looked at a size measurement for the genus Gorgonops, which is small. Inostrancevia or Rubidgea would im fact be the appropriate size. Sometimes people refer to any gorgonopsid as simply "gorgonops", even if it's not part of that genus.
I love the look of the Fasolosuchus, and the idea of a bigger predator always excites me, especially lizard types but in all honesty I don't see it winning as most would prefer the practicality of a creature compared to looks like a blood stalker compared to a ferox as cool as the ferox is i would take the bloodstalker as its more practical, so my guess is the armadilosuchus might win
Fasolasuchus is interesting. On one hand, it looks cool. It's like a mosasaur/Magmasaur hybrid that looks right at home in a desert. On the other hand, it's kinda weird seeing a loricatan (basically a giant land crocodile) get turned into a lizard.
Instead of the antlion-style trap in the art, it would be cool if it could "swim" through sand like Ark Additions' Concavenator, and wait for prey like a crocodile - with only the top of its head exposed.
I seriously can't wait for this year's winner. I hope it's someone good and I mean excited for a new creature coming as well. I really wish It was all of them. But I guess one creature is fair. I hope it's a good one as a maxim for the other 1 that's coming.
They say that ARK change a titanboa from a constrictor to a viper. In real life, the TITANOBOA (with an "o" that ARK removed) was part of the Boidae family (boas and pythons). But chemicals in the skull show it probably hunted in rivers or even the sea. While it may have constricted prey, it hunted fish and turtles more often.
Also, Titanoboa was much larger than ARKs "titanboa". It was also larger than Gigantophis.
Perhaps the "Titanboa" is a different creature than the Titanoboa altogether, and is completely mythical.
I kinda want the jumping spider to win. I LOVE spiders (I mean, I keep 11 tarantulas in my bedroom, so…) and having a proper, useful spider in ARK would be cool.
It would be awesome, if it wins, if they'd take inspiration from the peacock jumping spider and have it have a similar ability to the Sinomacrops, except that it's rideable.
Id argue that it's way better for ab both functionally and esthetically speaking in the lush upper caves. It really doesn't use scorched to it's fullest at all.

My personal top 3 is the Fasolasuchus, I'd love my Sarlacc Pitt Yutylania, Maevia Eureka, its adorable and would be awesome to have in the game, always love new spiders, and 3 is between the Ledumahadi and Gigantophis

I really like the suggestions this time around. Personally I like the gigantoraptor, moa, and ledumahadi the most, but I’d be content with seeing the others win. It’s been hard to guess what could win as usually the general comments on Twitter and especially TH-cam give you an idea of what people are voting for. Either way, excited to see what wins.

2. Fasolosuchus, looked at the submissions a week or so ago and i think i missed this or overlooked somehow but in the video it took me by surprise, i think a medium sized lizard to take us around the map and maybe be a bit of a competitor to the megalania would be cool
3. Gigantophis basilisks are hard and titan boa is a pain in the ass to tame, would love to have a medium snake to actually mount and ride.....in ark...not like nevermind..
I would like to see more knockout tames, while i believe unique tames are interesting i feel like everything added recently has had its little twist which is good but i wouldnt want to see it oversaturated so to speak, possibly in the minority in that but it is my own opinion that is all.

Mega lichorna,a big milipid with 30 lil legs that acts like a purlovia,hiding at cave entrance's or in mountains living in herds of max of 4 and like a basilick sticking its head out to see predators.
Atack:acts like a bola and draining its prey's health living it alone at 30%-40% hp.
Taming: small harmless creatures like dodos,lystros....and at 50% taming you will need to build a save nest for an mega lichorna egg.
Tamed:acts as a shoulder pet that jumps of you at any cost and borrows its self when sensing danger,it can be put on large tames head as a trophy mount.
Max oficial drops:69😎😉 chitin,13 meat,7 black perls,and 12 silica.
Colors:grey and black to blend in with stones and obsidian,yellow-ish for sand,and brown

For the Megaraptor, I could see two possible 'storylines.' One is that the Wyverns started overrunning everything, so the Overseer had to create yet another creature to curb the Wyvern's breeding. (Humans have certainly had enough experience with introducing invasive species, either on purpose or accidentally, and had them take over new habitats.) The other would be that over enough time there might have been some evolution on the Arks, and this creature evolved to live on Wyvern eggs, and learned to eat dead Wyvern claws to protect itself from the Wyvern's breaths. It might have started out small and just raided nests, but eventually grew bigger and more ferocious as it learned to be immune to their world's apex predator.

As someone from New Zealand, having a giant moa would be cool. It was a native species here until it was hunted to extinction. So it's my number one spot at the moment. The jumping spider is second, as much as I hate Spiders, jumping spiders are pretty cute.
