I've got a live recommendation for you that is out of the usual reaction comfort zone. Try listening to the Pat Travers Live Album "Go For What You Know." Start with the first song "Hooked on Music" and go from there. I triple dog dare you....

Just wait Bro, you have a LLLOOOOONNNNGGG way to go! Theres is still tons of outstanding Artists that you still havent heard of yet. Im 56 and I am fortunate enough to have grown up thru the 70`s and 80`s and I listen to music everyday and I am still finding new stuff regularly. Do not shy away from the Deep tracks from the Giants of RNR because alot of the Deep Tracks are their best because these are the Gems that the Industry couldnt control, they ARE the Diamonds of artistry, exactly what the artists conceptualized!

I CARE.....I was born April 1954. I grew up with the Greatest Music In History. “The Beatles” Changed everything forever. The 60s set the table for the 70s and the early 80s and we all thrived on the best bands ever making incredible music, before it all started to go Digital with forms of noise I refuse to call music.
In the past when I heard a song on the radio I couldn’t wait to hear it again ASAP….. Today when I listen to the top 40 stations I usually think… I never want to hear that crap ever again. Things have changed a lot since the 60s.

I am happily retired at 69 and have the time to enjoy watching "Reaction" videos. I copy the ones I like and show them to my grand kids so they can hear the songs and see others reactions. They like you a lot and you have your own folder in my computer. I have commented on several of your videos. I saw Pink Floyd Live 4 times. "PULSE" was the most incredible show I've ever witnessed. We want to see your reaction to this.....4 black brothers with a white drummer created this ICONIC Masterpiece from the 60’s Psychedelic Era Trust me…. You do not want your life to end without hearing this song.

I just watched your reaction to Chicago's '25 or 6 to 4' and I can tell by the grin you can't stop you might be interested in another great rock/horn band :
"Sons Of Champlin" - the album 'Loosen Up Naturally' and the songs 'Freedom' or 'Get High'. (Although 'Get High' has a gimmick it is a very interestingly constructed song that will satisfy what you are looking for.)
"The Sons of Champlin are an American rock band, from Marin County in the San Francisco-Bay area, formed in 1965. They are fronted by vocalist/keyboardist/guitarist Bill Champlin, who later joined rock band Chicago, from 1981-2009. They are one of the 1960s San Francisco bands, along with Jefferson Airplane, the Grateful Dead and Moby Grape."
If you are interested in another case of underappreciated 'san francisco sound' greatness, may I point you to the band/album "It's a Beautiful Day" 1969 and the songs 'Hot Summer Day', 'Wasted Union Blues'...then you'll be ready for 'Time Is'.

Nominate Rush as a band with every member in the conversation for best ever at their instruments. Neil Peart and Bonham close on drums. Alex Lifeson id’d by Eddie Van Halen as best guitarist (at least a contender with Page and several others). Geddy Lee might be the best multi-instrumentalist (bass, synths with hands and feet, vocals). To appreciate Geddy you have to see them live. Would recommend Exit Stage Left (1981).

Their is no list where Jimmy Page & John Bonham are not in the top 3 of all time period. In my opinion they are #1 of all time. No one is diverse on the Guitar as Jimmy Page. No one is as precise & diverse on the drums as John Bonham. No other guitarist or drummer could follow evert direction they go. Robert Plant always the Gold standard of Rock Singers & always in top 5 greatest rock Singers of all time. John Paul Jones is always top 10 bassist - keyboard - mandolin, etc. The glue of the sound. And, Bonham follows Jimmy which is another different characteristic. John Paul looking at both & keeping it glued. Robert the beautiful Welch voice.

Bro, saying that Led Zeppelin is the “dream team” is crazy. They’re just 4 guys with great talent, who clicked. There are better individual players, and singers out there. Robert Plant wasn’t even the first choice for vocalist. He got the job when Steve Marriott’s manager said he’d kill anyone who tried to take him away from Humble Pie.
That being said, Led Zeppelin is always in my ever revolving top 5

@@Rockmusicpodcast None. Not only individually some of the best out there, these guys were completely on the same musical wave length, and there's a reason, even after disbanding 40+ years ago, that they still have the highest number of album sales, second only to The Beatles, of all rock bands. Edit: Lots of great bands have given us some great music, but none were able to capture the magic of Led Zeppelin. It was like some sort of cosmic event when they formed as a band. ;)
