After watching your videos I had no choice but to bring my HPI MT2 out of retirement last month. I bought new for £250 here in the UK around 16 or 18 years ago. Had to source some parts to fix the front arms and knuckles but it started up first time and runs great. Now im enjoying it with my 8 year old son and went out and bought a HPI Bullet MT Nitro to race together. So much fun and the the noise :)

hey my dude! The NitroGang wants you to have tons of Nitro Fun, there is no reason you can't be doing it also. Doesn't mean you necessarily need an old HPI Nitro MT, but it would not hurt. I highly recommend you pic up the Nitro BUllet, still available brand new for like 410 bucks after coupon code.

Cool vid bro, I use aluminum tape (kind for ac heating and duct),for emergency exhaust gasket on my vintage nitros. Make sure the surface is clean, and use a sharp exacto blade.👊💯

I bought yet another rc from eBay it’s brushed but the listing and all other listings have a lot of wrong info in it the listing says brushless for 60.00 it’s not it has turn signals it doesn’t it has sound it doesn’t can’t wait to use the 9.6V “lithium ion” battery it’s a nicad battery lol at least it’s 4WD
hey my friend! You're totally right on all your points. And yes the front tires is pretty crappy, including the rest of them. Keep in mind these are original wheels and tires and they are still usable even after about 20 years of time. I purposely only ran this Nitro MT2 to test out my new exhaust gasket setup and the engine, these were not speed runs, in fact it was about alf throttle at best.
Anyway, it seems almost all new NIKE shoes I've tried in past 5 years were very uncomfy, with a a hard bottom and a tight fit overall. Thats why I've been wearing those beat up looking reddish shoes for years so far. BTW good luck on the ebay deal, at least it came, lol, you know.

Whats my dude! Let me first say, major NItroGang Welcome to being a channel member! You're making nitro great again for sure. On ebay these trucks go for tons of money unless they are in crappy shape. Still worth a look, also try offerup and FB marketplace, sometimes you get lucky.

hey bro! Yes, a couple good updates. I have been able to get a body for it and currently working on installing a killer BEE kill switch, then it will be back to running safely and reliably. Otherwise I have also put in a good FlySKy GT5 radio for reliability and the required 3rd channel. It will be on the channel soon!

New to nitro (but not the hobby). I have a brand new mt2 SS with all optional parts and a brand new OS.18 CV-RX. I also have a NIB Hpi hellfire SS. Now I have a question regarding engine and a is .18 TZ. Can a .12 header fit in a .18? There’s not that many guides on nitro engine and what’s compatible or even how to assemble the flywheel/clutch. Also fuck crawlers.

hey my dude! Are you talking about the HPI BUllet or the Nitro MT? The front of the chassis always has that small little bend in it, called the pickup. It's a normal think for that chassis bro. I know it may look like it is, but trust me it's perfectly normal! Thanks for the good observation bro.

hey buddy! I'm totally happy to offer you a proper NItroGang opinion, no problem. It sounds like the LOSI you're referring to is a LOSI Five T, which is the SCT 1/5 gas 4WD. In terms of giving you some advice I will stick to similar competitor models in that segment and other 1/5 gas RCs. Also you have not told me if this is your first 1/5 scale or not, because there is a learning curve.
The main negatives on the LOSI compared to a regular ROVAN or King MOTORS is the cost. If cost is not a factor then get the LOSI. Some very good GAs RCs to look at are any of the Rovan Bajas for under 500 bucks (this is where I started).
Why traxxas tmaxx 3.3 gets in 270f in llike a 4 or 5minute
hey buddy! Generally a high temp on a nitro motor is the result of a very LEAN tune. Try to richen the High Speed Needle to lower your overall running temps by increasing fuel and oil flow to the motor. Tun the high speed needle counter-clockwise 1/8 of a turn at a time and check temps again. You want to safely maintain about under 250 degrees.
