  • Here's really fun and incredibly simple recipe for making my version of shake and bake chicken. Honestly, this produces some really delicious chicken. A little spicy, some sweetness from the honey, a little acidity from the lemon...did I mention that his one has a five minute prep time??! Hope you love.

    This is a good recipe, but the part at the end when he drizzles the sauce on the cooked chicken..is that the marinade he soaked the raw chicken in? lol

      @cadencefilmsinc - 🤦‍♂️the way the video was edited does make it look like that, but no, two separate sauces, thanks for watching!

      I totally agree Isaiah! How is it possible that this channel doesn't have more subscribers and views?!? The videos are done in such a professional way too, and there are lots of them already. I don't get it.

    Ok first time trying this. But was I suppose to keep sauce at the side because the raw chicken already was in the left over sauce I think I just wasted a bunch of sauce 😂

    Sooo take a temperature probe. Stick it into the meat. Then, touch it to your lip to see if it's hot. Sounds like something fauchi would say to do lol. Jk good video thank you

    Did he put the raw chicken in the sauce and then put that same sauce on the cooked chicken after ?

    Hello, I need some clarification, as I just tried this recipe and the chicken was moist and delicious, and there were soggy breadcrumbs. What did I miss, as would have loved them to be crispy, just Chef Clayton's

    How would this chicken get crisp while steaming in a covered pan?
    The bread crumbs are soggy as a wet napkin.

    • @chefclaytonchapman
      @chefclaytonchapman  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The chicken only steams as the cooking process starts and is full of moisture. That excess moisture evaporates as the chicken cooks and the breadcrumbs become crispy. You can see from the video the breadcrumbs are not soggy at all.

    awesome recipe! that much garlic scares me a bit, but I'm going to give it a try.

    • @chefclaytonchapman
      @chefclaytonchapman  5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      John Templeton when you sauté the garlic in butter it tames it down quite a bit and makes the garlic flavor more mellow....but you’re right, it is still a lot of garlic! Thanks for giving it a try, please let me know how it goes!
