I just made this for my brother since he was so hungry lol, im 16 and am not the best at cooking but your videos are so simple and easy and it truly saves me so much trouble! Thank you
I know this video is a year old and you probably won't see this but I wanted to say that I'm only 11 years old and I find this very easy to follow and I tend to have all of these ingredients on hand. Thank you for making these videos, it's hard to find good cooking channels now.
I subscribed immediately. It's so rare to find a chef that can make good food AND explain it so simply so that even a beginner like me can follow along, you sir are a gem! Thank you
My mum does basically the same thing, but she has chicken cubes and diced carrots and mushrooms in it too. Then she transfers it to a baking tray and cooks it in the oven. Cheese on top. Its incredible
Any pasta with cream, garlic and parmesan can be mixed with anything and is delicious. Adding chicken is a great way to get some protein in there too. I'm sure it's excellent.
My dad also does it but instead of boiling pasta he grills a beef burger and instead of making a sauce, he just puts a cheese slice on top. Then he transfers it into a bun. Delicious
Just made this, I added some cherry tomatoes I blistered in some olive oil for 3 minutes on a medium high heat first. INCREDIBLE and adds some freshness and acidity to cut through the richness of the sauce.
For anyone who was missing out on Heavy Cream like I was, let me run you through with an alternative: (This is half of the size he cooked) Prep: 250g pasta 30g Parmesan, freshly grated 4 cloves of garlic (crushed or minced) How to make HEAVY CREAM substitute: 47g of butter (1/4 cup). Melt in microwave. Get 178ml of milk (3/4 cup). Finally, add both and microwave again or else it’ll CLUMP. Add 8g of flour to thicken it. Sauce: 7ml olive oil 7g butter Melt together. Add garlic, saute for 1min. Add 40ml chicken broth. Boil. Add 200ml of the “heavy cream.” High boil, than reduce low simmer for 6-8 minutes. Mix: Mix the pasta with the sauce, then finally add the Parmesan. THANKS FOR THE RECIPE THIS WAS DELICIOUS!
I had just been considering how to make a substitute for heavy cream when I saw your comment. What incredible timing! I made it exactly as you instructed, and it was perfect. I used it to make the recipe in the video and we loved it. I did add some shelled sunflower seeds after adding the cream sub. We served it with whole-grain small penne and really enjoyed it. I'll definitely save and use this recipe again. Great idea for the heavy cream sub. Thanks for that.
Just wanted to say this was beautiful! I’m Nigerian so we love going over top with seasoning when we cook (which I love) so was skeptical if I would like this based on how simple the ingredients were. It was beautiful and my family loved it will be making again!
I very much appreciate your explanations for why you do things a certain way and how they affect the dish. It's so hard to find (written) recipes that include those extra details, which I find help tremendously with ensuring whatever I am making is as good as it can be (and is also just fun to learn about). The information is truly invaluable, and -as you've proven- doesn't take long to explain. You've definitely made me a loyal subscriber
I was about to make instant noodles for lunch today, but watching how I have all these ingredients and how simple making it was, I decided to make it instead and was not disappointed. Thanks!

Made this, super yummy. I used a mixed Italian blend of cheese, and not as much because of family preferences. Didn’t have the spinach or fresh parsley, so put some dry parsley in with the cream. Used cavatappi pasta, which is dense and held up to the yummy creamy garlic goodness of the sauce. Everyone loved it. Thanks!

Another cool way to achieve a similar effect in this recipe, is to mix the grana cheese with 2 egg yolks, then add a spoon, or two of the pasta water to it, mix it, add some black pepper and set asaide. This looks wonderful Jack, greetings from 7.30am, projected 32degree, "spring " morning,
In beautiful Australia. Thank you for tonight's dinner.
Glad you think so! I wish it was 32.c in Adelaide today! Unfortunately it’s 18.c with damaging winds 🥲 enjoy it 😊😊
@@ChefJackOvens Where's that 18 degrees in Mount Barker! It's freezing here. Great recipe!
Unley 😩
I just made this as a side dish to go with steaks….dinner turned out deliciously amazing….specially after a long day…a nice homemade 4th of July dinner….thank you thank 😀😀😀
The creamy garlic pasta sauce is a ultimate recipe 💜🥰😋.
It's so good!
I really appreciate the explanations of why you are doing things in a certain way. Great recipe with a great presentation is, well, great! But including the thought processes of an expert chef puts it far above typical TH-cam cooking fare. It’s give a man a fish vs teach a man to fish caliber. I learned today. Thank you!
Thank you so much for introducing me to not only a fantastic pasta dish but also , to an equally fantastic cheese!
Love your channel!! ♥️
Just made this using penne huge great delicious success. I’m so grateful to have these videos and thrilled with Jacks success. You have done brilliantly well. Love ❤️ from Sweden 🇸🇪
I don’t consume heavy cream based food Jack but this recipe is another banger. Top job chef!
Thanks for watching anyway, Howard! It’s much appreciated 😊
good man less clogging of the arteries ☺️

What is a good substitute for the
Grano Padano cheese. I don't use any cheese with animal rennet
Damn!!!!! As a pasta fan and learning cook(to be chef😋) I am trying it this week, cause guess what I have all the ingredients 🤗🤗🤩. Thanks jack for this great recipe 😀
Awesome! Please enjoy it and have fun on your cooking journey 😊
Looks delicious! If you want to omit spinach, try peas and diced ham!
That looks so good!!
Looks like something I’d like to put in a casserole dish with some of that cheese on top & let it brown for a bit in the oven. I love how fancy yet easy this looks. Thanks!
Just made this as a person trying pasta recipes this is delicious definitely keep making this thank you🎉
I would use broccoli instead of spinach. Looks YUMMY for sure!

Ive never really cooked anything before, like at all, but this was (whilst stressful) super easy to make and DELICIOUS. Even after I reheated my leftovers for lunch and dinner I still finished my bowls wanting more 🎉🎉
That’s amazing! Nice work 🙏🙏
I love your cooking videos ~ thanks for the storage and reheating tips 🌸
Glad you like them!
Love your style of presentation. Can not abide watching every chop and slice in cooking vids. Yours are PERFECT. Also love the tips like a little Olive Oils stops butter from burning. Thank you
I'm only 5 years old and this was super easy to make
Me, 30yo and only just starting to like pasta and cream.
