    Scotty...thank you so much for posting this video...as a non-mechanical rider I was able to switch out the brake levers on one of our bikes with absolutely no issues...feeling pretty great about that...thanks.

    I wish I had seen this video sooner. I broke my oem clutch lever and ordered an aftermarket oem style off eBay. I thought that was the easiest repair I had a shot with doing myself. Turns out I could have bought that style lever and would have been doable even for the not so Mechanically inclined. Regardless, this video was really great and helpful for my repair. Thank you!!

    Fantastic Vid's Scotty!....been on my 2013 triple R for nearly six months now,total LOVE it has to be said lol,really happy I stumbled upon your video's as there seams to be literaly zero on our bikes!!
    im about to order the exact shorty levers and also the passenger hand grips/rails,soon after the anodised res's!! Was thinking of going with none triumph parts as costs seam to be quite a bit lower that way but really wanna keep her 100% triumph ya know?!
    Anyow,..nice one bro...SUBBED!!

    Hey Scotty! Another amazing, professional video! When are you going to get paid for Triumph for it lol, it's just SO well done. I can just picture all the shots you had to set up to do each step.... very dedicated and well communicated steps! I have these same levers and I did shoot us putting them on, but I don't think I'll ever post it. Kudos!

      Thanks so much cherrieblossoms! I really appreciate the feedback! I'd love for triumph to pick up on my videos, I just hope they would be up to their standards! I'll actually be working for a Triumph dealer in the near future so hopefully I'll get some support there. I have a lot of fun making these and would love to be able to do this kind of thing for a living. But for now I'll just do it for fun and get some practice. I'll hopefully be doing some motovlog style videos once the snow melts, so stay tuned for those! I also have a few more videos in the works that will be posted in the next few weeks. One of them is for an amazing tail light modulator that is SUPER easy to install, so watch for that one. You'll love it!

    Nice video, and extremely helpful. I also wrench on my bike (2005 XB12Scg), but now have a new bike (2015 ST3 R) and it's nice to find people contributing their knowledge. Keep it up! I hope to start posting my own for my ST3 R, and will try to match your quailty of video. :) Cheers!

    Thanks Scotty, I'm going to use this for sure.
    other suggestions would be heated grips, or bar-end mirrors or exhaust install.

    • @scottytriple869
      @scottytriple869  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad I could be of some help Roxic12! Hmm, heated grips could be a good one, although I don't often ride when it's that cold, usually that means snow here. Bar end mirrors will be a definite yes. Exhaust install... now that's an interesting one I haven't thought of. I have the Arrow exhaust on it now, so I'd have to swap the stocker back on, or wait until I get bored with the Arrow and get something else... Maybe a full exhaust install? I've thought of doing one for removing the header to have it powder coated....
      Thanks for the suggestions and support!

    Great videos! I may be wrong, but I think you are the only one doing these types for the current gen STR. Looking forward to more. Could you please do some maintenance ones like chain adjustment and oil change? Thanks and Subscribed!

    • @scottytriple869
      @scottytriple869  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Mr-Waby, I know of a few others that have done one off how-to's, but there isn't very many doing a regular set of them. It's what inspired me to start! I plan to do a chain maintenance video which will include adjustment, cleaning, lubricating, and methodology of when I clean/lube my chain. I also plan to do a comprehensive motorcycle washing/detailing video as well. It will showcase many of the products I've picked up and a few tips and tricks. Unfortunately both of these videos require a somewhat dirty bike (to show the cleaning process) and some nicer weather. Both of which won't happen for a few more weeks at least here in Canada. So stay tuned!

    Did followed this all the way through... until putting the clutch level back on. Just went for a ride and realised I’ve not put the pin / sleeve back into the new clutch level. It was loose. Now I know it’s an easy fix, just watch the last 30 seconds 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Great video once again. Could you do a video about installing a 12V (usb) plug for mobile devices or trickle charger? Thnx 👍😉.

    • @scottytriple869
      @scottytriple869  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Where where you thinking of installing one? My bike came from the dealer with a trickle charger adapter cord already bolted to the battery. I just picked up a usb adapter for that and leave the plug hanging out from the seat. I then run a usb cable from the plug to my tail pack and charge my phone in there. I don't use any sort of electronics up by my handlebars. But I may pick up a GPS for touring this season.

    • @DaMaX74
      @DaMaX74 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great! I was thinking of the same. Using it with an usb afapter for charging the phone or other devices. Also leading a cable to the handlebar for GPS/phone. And.... for trickle charging the battery during winterseasons.

    • @DaMaX74
      @DaMaX74 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ScottyTriple Now I trickle charge with a -/+ clamps. But I want to avoid that the clamps will "click" off from one of the two battery poles.

    • @scottytriple869
      @scottytriple869  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** Yup, I tricklecharge mine with the bolt on adapter. Mine came with the adapter from the dealership (they must have installed one). My tricklecharger also came with one that I use when the battery is out of the bike. But like you said, they clip on ones can come off so I still use the bolt on ones even when the battery isn't installed int he bike.
