Hi Tony. Once again I find myself in one of your high quality videos in order to complete the next mod on my 2016 street twin. Bar end mirrors, headlight grill, gear peg, tank pads, Pirelli Scorpions - all done. Now it’s time for the break levers. Next on the list is the speedo black out.
Although I’m always watching the recent uploads, your old street twin’s videos still feels very pleasant to watch.

Having just dropped my new Street Twin at 0.3mph on it's first ride and snapping the clutch lever, this is super helpful thanks Tony! Don't ride whilst recovering from COVID is the lesson!

Good video as per usual from Tony. I have just done an install of the equivalent Triumph machined lever kit on a Thruxton R and I offer this word of warning to anyone using Tony’s install on his bike as a guide to how easy it might be on the Thruxton R . I naively figured it would pretty much the same. It’s very different. The clutch lever is fitted very much as per Tony’s install and is a piece of cake. The brake lever is a real bugger to fit. The kit doesn’t include all the parts needed. You have to salvage several of them from the original lever which I can only presume this is to keep the cost of the kit down. That’s not so bad, but you then have a devil of a job getting the pivot bolt relocated because you’re working against the reloaded spring tension. Might be easier if you had the special factory tool referred to in the instructions but I didn’t have it. Almost needs another pair of hands.

Nice one Tony. Triumph want £185 for a pair of these now. I’ll go with Tecs £50 efforts. I bought them before. Perfectly adequate if not quite the quality finish.

Thanks! I'm with you on using OEM accessories because of fit and compatibility. Guys are fitting aftermarket TEC levers and are having problems with breaking the brake and clutch lever micro switches. No such problems with the OEM "long" levers for my T120.

Hey Tony, I’m a few years late to the party.. but I just installed these levers onto my 2022 street twin. Everything went perfectly thanks to you. Only thing is the brake lever feels to far. I have relatively large hands XL glove size. And I’ve played with the dial adjustments. Even the lowest setting feels far compared to my stock levers. Any advice?
Bit late in the day but I'm with you on this, if you have smaller hands I don't think these would be suitable which is crazy, that's the whole idea of these levers
Levers look nice. Why did they not include a new bushing for the clutch. Or better yet already have a new one installed on the new lever? Looks about the same as the Strada brand which i sent back due to lousy fit. A.S.V. ordered. Rocket X
Good question james, but one for Triumph. These fit perfectly and have worked faultlessly since being installed.
Nice video. Does the new set solve the up and down clutch lever waggle?? I hate that! I’ve had it on all of my bikes. Speed triple S. considering these as a more fine fitted option.

Please help!! I was able to change the brake easily. But I can’t get the clutch screw to rotate and line up with groove. Do you have any advice? Thank you!

How did you get that pivot sleeve out at 4:26? Did yours just slide out easily? Mine seems welded onto the lever itself... might need to buy one it seems.
Yep, it just pushed out easily. But my levers were still relatively new.

Will these fit the trident 660?
Changed mine yesterday (t120) but had some real trouble to find the exact spot to get the bolt back into the break lever. First I thought the new lever was not ok, but I could not put the old lever back in, either. After lots of trying it worked with the new one. Is there any „trick“ I missed? Clutch was no prob, went in easily.
No trick, mine just went straight in. Strange
Sunday, June 11th I stupidly dropped my 2017 Triumph Street Cup! I bent the clutch lever. Now I know how to replace. Thanks . Never dropped any bike for 30 years. Getting old! Could you add the part numbers, Thanks for the how to video. Keep them coming. From California, USA.

May i ask, does this fit all the models? I have a Street Triple R (2010)
This part is listed for Street Twin, Street Cup, street scrambler, T100, T120 and thruxton 1200. The street triple version you’d need depends on your Vin number, there are various part numbers

I got the levers as well, but I'm having issues with putting in the pivot sleeve into the new clutch. It doesn't fit. Did you have any issues with that?
Hi Classic Dice, no I didn't have any issues with that, it was a slightly tighter fit, but not much.
I must have a defective one then, the hole is definitely too small for the sleeve to fit in.
Thanks really strange, worth popping into a triumph dealer to let them take a look. I can't imagine they would differ from bike to bike, so its not that they are the wrong levers (im thinking maybe packed in the wrong box?)
Would these fit on the air cooled efi scramblers? I have a 2014.
I'm not sure they would, I'd need to check.
On my speed triple, the stock levers have a master cylinder plunger that has to be removed and added to the new lever before fitting. If anyone knows how to get the damn thing out of the lever please tell me. I have 2016 model with Brembos.

@@gabelazar6376 I forgot I sent this question. Check out my video on this subject if it’s the same issue I had. You have to push the bearing out to release the plunger….

Hey. Great video! The little pinion sleve wont come out of the old clutch lever. I have tried to spray som oil on it, and even tried to knock it out but it's stuck. Any ideas?
Have you tried some heat on it?

They are two different metals so will expand at different rates. It might be enough just to free it?
Do these work on Bonneville T100 AC models?
I don't think they do, from what i understand its a different lever
I have these fitted to my T120 and even on the lowest setting they're only just about where I want them to be and I have big hands, I don't know how anyone would get on with shorter fingers, just seems a bit odd, but they're most definitly better than what comes on the bike, at £195 I guess they should be 🤪

Hi. I am planning to buy these for my t100. How are they after 3 years of usage? Are they more comfortable and ergonomic than stock.
They offered more adjustment which is what I wanted and are nice to use

I personally prefer chrome. I hope Triumph will offer a chrome oem replacement.
