Agent gets ready to torture Wyatt's family however just as he gets to the door a Royal Marine pops out of the bushes Assassins Creed style and offs them. Everyone in the house thinks its a prank when the open the door and noone is there.
@@mikeloeven I doubt that Jade will ever personally be a threat to Wyatt's family, she may send intel about them to people who may physically go after his family. The impression I get of Jade is she is someone who never truly leaves the shadows and leaves the traditional flashy violent things to others. Jade is going to focus on staying with the Prince as long as possible to keep on sending vital intel to Duke Draymore forces.

You have created a universe and characters that are both relatable and easily undrrstood. I truly hope that this can become a tv series, either anime or computer generated at least, but even live action should be on the table. You have my thanks for the enjoyment your producing, and I will be looking for your other works! Peace.
I said the same thing a while ago. This is when I wish that I had the ability and talent to do a traditional or computer animation. I really hope when the whole story/saga is done the author finds or gets an offer to bring this universe to life in a visual format. Great story it’s an easy listen so that tells me it is also an easy read.
Thank you for another wonderful installment to start the week. Thank you for the insight as to the Principalities ability to reverse engineer the black ship. Jade was an interesting development in that the Nobels in actuality have no Honor when looking out for number 1, In the Prince’s game of chess with his Uncle the Duke commander Anderson was sacrificed to protect the “king” . It is also interesting in that a highly technical age that the opposition has NO idea who or what Wyatt is. The far reaching conjecture that he is a deep mole master agent of the Prince was great fiction. While the Prince and Wyatt are thinking 🤔 outside of the box 📦, the Dukes forces are entrenched in a stream of tradition and rules which limit their ability to adjust to the fluid situation . The best item is when Clara mentions a “”cat” and Wyatt has no idea. Keep up the great work. 💙💙💙💙

I think a lot of people have been surprised by how this story grabs them. Someone commented before that the author has managed to sprinkle cocaine into the words and everyone has become an addict!
Next chapter, Wyatt should come up with a new phrase as an alternative to "I obey." My preference is:

Got to the story late but as they say "Better late than never". Another great chapter lots of insight all around into the inner workings of the Princeapality and her people. From crual intregue to the very human side of just enjoying doing something as simple as knitting to the powers that be learning they still have vipers in their midst while they deal with the bigger picture of the brewing civil war. Our author never fails to please, so here is a big thumbs up from me.

Another masterful story telling chapter.
Interesting we get see Frederick for the 1st time in book 2 and how the traitor is doing. Interesting we hear why he and his family Anderson betrayed house Astor. Interesting to see how Jade was the traitor who talked with Wyatt and didn't get caught in book 1.
I do love how Jade roasts Fredrick for being stupid revealing himself in book 1. Interesting how Jade is a intelligence officer who is so secretive that not even Frederick had any idea who she is. Interesting how Jade thinks Wyatt was not commoner due to him being able to lie to her without her able to detect a single one.
I do like how Jade and then Frederick is some undercover noble is because of his experience being captured by the Drazin. Its funny how both Jade and Frederick find it impossible that Prince, Clara, Juliana, Redford and Cynthia actually value commoner lives, especially rare diamonds like Wyatt.
I am not surprised the careful choosing of personal by Clara for the Noirnavio prevented any lingering traitors in the fleet getting any of them on it. I was not surprised that Jade killed Frederick to prevent him spilling any secrets. It was funny in a dark way that it never crossed Frederick's mind that Jade was going to kill him. Interesting twist in Jade killing Frederick with a cyber virus probably causing his implants to freak out in the process kill him.
Whoot!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 WE get to finally get to see Wyatt do knitting! Then on top of that he's knitting with Clara and Cynthia! It's hilarious how much of a badass Cynthia is, she is amateur with knitting. It's hilarious how Cynthia is weirded out by Wyatt eating lachoa bugs 🐛 and fears eating them. 😂 I do love how Clara horrifies Cynthia by fist even entertaining the idea of eating a bug, then trying it and actually eating the entire bug. I am not surprised that Wyatt was surprised that Clara was able to eat the lachoa and actually found it decent. I am not surprised that Wyatt had fun seeing Cynthia trying to eat lachoa. I can see how after realizing that lachoa don't bad that Cynthia would find it actually pragmatically healthy food and no longer has issue eating them.
I do think that EkhidnaWritez had fun making up the culture of Volatnis names commoner names start with W, especially with Wyatt's family: Wyatt, Winona, Wirt, Wam and Wasco. Not surprised that Wyatt will not change his name due to him being a noble and ignoring Voltantis traditions. The scene where Wyatt thanks Clara for giving him an off day from Cynthia's hellish training was funny and wholesome at the same time!
I am not surprised that Wyatt does not know about what chocolate, sugar and cats. I do love how Wyatt is enjoying true happiness spending time with 2 true friends, something he has not had since the Drazin until now. I do love how Cynthia for a moment misspoke implying that Wyatt is a lady, how Wyatt points that out and Clara uses this loop hole that since Wyatt is man, he can give Cynthia help with her knitting. Clara is so cute with how she gives Wyatt a command to aid Cynthia with her knitting and how its wonderful that Cynthia and Wyatt train each other in area's the other need help in. I am glad that Clara gives Wyatt the honor to never again need to say I obey to her commands.
It was awesome wholesome scene with Wyatt training Cynthia a better knitter. Way to go Jade to unilaterally to mess with Wyatt's off time with the news of Frederick's death.
Finally Prince's fleet has gotten to Finnigan territory. I am not surprised that Prince is being cautious/paranoid that there may be some hidden Black Ships in the friendly space, so waiting to announce his presence to his allies until he is closer. I am surprised that the technicians on the Exalted Virtue have already mostly have been able to reverse engineer the captured frigate black ship to a degree and will be able to upgrade existing gunboats, corvettes and frigates. Great way to end the chapter with Prince gibing a fiery proclamation to Juliana and Lukax.
I do like how the Cayston's pride ends up screwing up royally and in the not so distant future they tech advantage of the Draymore forces will be significantly cut down to more manageable size. Great job with the visual effects in this chapter, especially the end part where its a bit animated! Thank you EkhidnaWritez giving us loyal listeners the much anticipated event of Wyatt, Clara and Cynthia having a knitting party, especially how relaxing and wholesome it was!

Wiping out Wyatt's family would be should a common troupe for writing as well as having Wyatt want revenge for those who killed his family just having them actually brought up to serve the princess on the other hand wouldn't be something that is done
In the first part of this, Jade mentioned Wyatt might be something more than he claims, which would be an interesting trope as well His family is nothing more than a facade, is he an agent or is he something even more than that? It would be quite intriguing to see this man. Turn out to be someone from another nation as well, playing both sides, but that's just me. I like those types of tropes.😅

The Achille's heel of the nobility in this story is their hubris. They are so confident in their superiority over commoners and that their rigid way of life is the most enlightened, that they can't fathom a mere "commoner" like Wyatt can think better than they can. So now in their delusions of grandeur they think he's a covert noble put in a commoner spot for a secret agenda. SMFH. Wyatt is simply dealing with a Dark Knight/Batman syndrome. He's willing to be what is necessary to protect his way of life. Problem is he has also been brainwashed into thinking he's less than a noble simply due to his birth. I'm thinking an outside human government used the whole nobility avarice dilemma in order to incite the uncle into treachery and is banking on the two sides beating the shit out of each so that third party can stroll in and gain sympathy from the commoners. Show the commoners how fucked up the nobles are and how they don't care about the commoner. The monkey wrench is Wyatt, who has been proven to be an Ace commoner made Noble Knight. Also the Princess protecting the commoner station will also show that the Principality actually care about the commoners. Sadly, the status quo needs to be broken down, but not through Civil War between nobles.

The time line is confusing. If it’s only been a month Wyatt had done a lot to gain the Royals favor in such a short time. It feels like it should be at least three months. I’m interested to see why the Duke is doing this. From previous chapters it doesn’t sound like it is in his nature to be a traitor. I wonder why the traitors are calling the Prince a false Prince.

Great story. Thanks.Nice job spawning and 'knitting' together those subplots. There seems to be a lot of coincidence and serendipity in Wyatt's life. Maybe it's just that, ...maybe. Secondly, Frederick's untraceable 'neural comm link / brain blender'... one might suspect it's just different (more advanced that Principality) tech, say, from the same folks who built the NN.

@@danielseelye6005 yup last chapter confirmed that the Drazzan had basically been sent by someone else but no one we have been introduced to yet, the suspicion is it's by those that supplied the Black Ships to the Duke

4. Another point - During the battle of Jintrax, why did the Cayston forces peel off three black ships to go after Wyatt's wedge, which was engaging a relatively unimportant target on the edge of the enemy formation?

It would seem so, I'm actually wondering if the reason the Duke rebelled is because he discovered that the Prince and probably Clara are more open to there being commoners who are exceptional. That could I guess potentially throw a number of noble houses into fits of rage, if a commoner can do anything a noble can then it removes the need for nobility

Hi I'm very thankful, for the stories Black Ship is one great Syfy story, but from Chapter 20 to Chapter 43.3 Cool stories but nothing to be seen for action , Do you people know this story be equal to the House of dragons , the story should be on TV, but you need to give Wyatt a girlfriend, and there needs to be more action with Wyatt in the fighter, or him in controlling the. norenovio in a fight, that would be a cool story ,to much Dam Politics it starting to get Boring, sorry, i like the big picture, it's the Black Ship, and Wyatt kicking Butt.. I think it's all about rules, both Wyatt and Clara and to an extent Cynthia break them without actually breaking them, the nobes rules say you cannot be taught knitting by a Lady, but they never anticipated a male noble learning knitting themselves and being good enough to teach someone else, it's termed thinking outside the box and, when you have people that are good at it, things can get very interesting

So what are the romantic or dynastic relationships going to be? Might be an interesting twist coming at some point.
Well if I had to guess I'd say there was a good (80%) chance that Wyatt will end up with either Clara or Cynthia, but I have no idea which one (not both) There's plenty of precedent for a non ruling royal family member marrying a commoner or knight, going back hundreds of years, Princess Clara appears to have a ... reputation, which might mean that despite her apparently stunning looks other nobles might not wish to marry her, likewise Cynthia is rather deadly and would be somewhat intimidating to most. However Wyatt actually seems at ease around both of them. That said I cannot see romance being on the cards until the Duke Draymor issue is resolved and the Principality is more stable, at the rate of progress in the timeline I'd say not for a minimum of 6 months and possibly longer so if the author can keep at it not earlier than Chapter 130 at current progress LOL call it 74 weeks or so based on a new chapter every 5 days on average though the last 2 took longer 😞 Oh and whilst I think about it, there is no way that Wyatt will ever consider either of those two ladies as a potential wife, there's no way he would ever consider himself to be that fortunate, so they will be the one to suggest it to him.
Ya know now im really curious as to what will happen if people learn wyatt is good a knitting i wonder if theyll start to think that man is not a man just who the hell is this person first a spy or something for who knows how long now we dont even know what there actual gender is let alone one true thing about them man i cant wait to hear what the tratiors say when they find out that he was actually a commoner and all that

It is. It’s a voice from elevenlabs and the reason it gets the voices mixed up is because it’s probably trained on audiobooks where the male narrator affects a higher voice for female characters.
23:23 please... Please don't be GMO.. Wyatt's achievements are meritorious on their own grounds. Retconning in genetic destiny would only cheapen his work and undermine the moral enlightenment undertones of the story (namely that special deeds come not solely from special people).

The Pinces father is dead, Note that it's a principality rather than a kingdom, Princes rule principalities, traditionally Principalities are smaller than kingdoms, Principalities were once found in Europe, Asia and Arabia that I am aware of, some still exist such as Andora, Lichtenstein and Monaco, Technically Wales is also a Principality but not an independant one
