Nope not gonna say it today!!! ..... oooh who am i kidding!! FANBLOODYTASTIC!!!.. i sit here every time watching and listening with a stupid child like grin on my face twitching away like im acting out how Wyatt is feeling and its all YOUR fault, and then it just ends!! i have not shot bolt up right so quick since my RSM barged into our billet for a surprise inspection.🤣🤣 great work as always fella, and now we all have something to look forward to tomorrow. You know im gonna be watching.

It’s kind like the old radio dramas, that would be The Flash, Dick Tracy, Super Man. I remember in the 70’s ever once in a while they would rebroadcasts a few shows for a week or just a weekend.

For some reason I was expecting/hoping to see it out on the hour rather than the half hour so I was 30 mins late :-( I shall be ready tomorrow for part 2 though ... Loyalty really is it's own reward

I have a feeling Wyatt is going to be crying for mercy based on what cynthia probably has him about to do. This is probably far more than simple martial arts training

I am looking forward to the reveal of Wyatt’s shield, the further development of Wyatt’s romance(?) with the princess, and Wyatt’s first communication with his family. The foreshadowing is a light and floral sauce.
The narrative between Wyatt and Commander Redford is very insightful thank you.
I appreciate how your storyline flows, and sounds nothing like the same plot others seems to follow & mimic… i hope and trust there’s a 3rd book on the horizon or more…

Awesome part 1 of what I know will be a great chapter. Curious what Wyatt choose as his shield. Curious if Cynthia is about to teach him dueling or if she brought a sparring partner. Also great touch on Wyatt visiting with the techs. Redford said he could place his shield on a fighter, so I believe he can claim a fighter. Then have the 6 eyed bird hot rod that bitch. Tweak here an upgrade there, is easy for a tech like jincho.
Side note, I’m appreciating the fact that it takes days to move from one jump point to another. Adds a layer of reality and for depth of story to flesh out. Great story.
That was well worth the wait, & part 2 of chapter 30 dropping the same time tomorrow?, roll on Saturday!.

This is like a favorite TV show growing up. You had to wait each week to get the next episode. In todays day of instant gratification, I kinda like that I have to wait a week to get the next part. Really helps build the tension of what's going to happen next. Also, it gives me time to re-listen to the entire series before I get the next one. Question though, end of Chapter 29 Wyatt had a slip of paper that he read, but we didn't find out what that was. Are we going to? Courious minds and what not.

His reply to the three royals at the entrance should have been a sarcastic thank you to them. Letting them know he was not ashamed of his commoner beginning.
Now we know why Wyatt took 2 hrs before he went to bed. Its was his Heraldic shield which I'm sure Clara or Cynthia did for him.
If the girls did it for him it wouldn’t have taken 2 hrs, but I think they did give him some good suggestions and he went from there.

The writer's ability to describe in detail Wyatt's introspection and contemplation as he takes in Commander Redford's talk is amazing.
Oh you just know that tomorrows story will result in his being battered and bruised again, why else would the combat armour have arrived. But he's maturing isn't he, starting to understand his own strengths and weaknesses

So the Data chip at the end of the last chapter was suggestions for his shield. Clara, Cynthia or both?
I like that Redford and Gault gave him similar suggestions. I liked how Wyatt was able to settle down and actually assess his squad. I can’t wait to see how Wyatt’s relationship with the engineer moves forward. Now I’m interested to see what Cynthia has in store for Wyatt next.
Whatever else it is, it's going to be painful.

Well no one seems to know (other than the readers) that the implants were used to kill, so perhaps the first thing is for Jincho to find out about the death and suggest that maybe the implants were modified or hacked to give that result

Another great addition to the story. The characters become more real with each chapter.
If Wyatt makes that call or sends that message, his family is screwed. I'm hoping this leads to an epic tale of rescue - but I wouldn't bet on it.
I can see this leading into the showdown between Serhan Gilmor and Wyatt. The moral battle that would be going on in Wyatt’s head would be staggering. Just figured I’d give y’all something to ponder.
Can't wait to find out what new weapons were installed on Wyatt's fighter. I hope it includes cloaking. I also hope that the whole squadron gets secret upgrades

Love this story line, I've been impatiently patiently waiting on this episode and of course can't wait till then next one. :)
This is my third listen to this episode. Amazing he got his heraldic shield done and approved 👍 early.
But if we assume that the Chit from the last episode was a guide to heraldry for beginners the question becomes was it Clara or Cynthia who sent it ?

Great way to start the chapter with Wyatt having finalized his heredic shield 🛡 and Redford approved it. Way to troll 🧌 us by not allowing us to hear what the end result is. 😑
I do like how Wyatt stays true to himself by telling the reason why he did so poorly in the simulators to Redford, was because of suffering a panic attack. I am not surprised that Redford was happy Wyatt admits his error and to never lose his integrity. 😊 I do like the scene how Redford indirect way to help Wyatt realize how he screwed up in addition to his panic attacks.
I am not surprised that Wyatt dumbfounded his squadron subordinates with his panic attacks, micro management of them and not trusting them to do their parts on their own. 😊 I am not surprised that his squadron subordinates were suprised due to how masterful he hide his panic attack.
I do like how Wyatt is able to properly assess his teammates now with a clear mind and not micromanagement them.
I do find it hilarious 😂 that Wyatt thinks he's going to have to pay for his new body armor. Considering how Wyatt is a personal knight of Princess Clara. I do like how there is a mandatory 1 hour of exercise but are given free rain on how to do it.
Great job on the hilarious scene where Wyatt and Jincho, especially when Jincho finds out that Wyatt doesn't own the fighter he has been working on! 😂😂 I do like to how we learn more about the Yakanti and there Empire. Interesting to hear that the Yakanti Empire is even more stagnant than the Principality of Astor.
It will be interesting in seeing what new dreadful hellish training Cynthia will put Wyatt through.

You invited story feedback. The story starts with creation of a Royal, personal obligation.The gigantic plot hole of The Prince knowingly not bestowing a title upon the meritious-in-battle, Royal Navy Protagonist is a huge flaw, where in a different character gets that very juicy offer - extended to a Crime Lord, no less. That makes the story weak. The glaring hole grows to become a tear ripping through the characterization. Ebert had something to say of such plots insulting the audience. The book one ending of a court scene rehashing plot points is, here and anywhere else, sloppy, lazy work, I disdain. Who again takes credit for that? I never embrace a character that mulls internally over their weaknesses. That's sloppy foreshadowing. That's sloppy characterization.
This storyline is slowly turning into a feminist propaganda.
The repetitive commoner vs noble shit brings this story down...some self doubt and introspection is good for a protagonist but the insecurity and inferiority complex is cringe...also the contempt and disdain elitist's have for the unwashed masses is never so vulgar, crude and blatant, it's subtle, wreathed in flowery pros and polite etiquette
Sarcasm, back handed compliments, poetic but demeaning analogy and metaphor are the cutting weapons of the "civilized"
The writer should watch some episodes of sharpe and read pride and prejudice or something to learn how to do this whole social dynamic and class divided trope thing properly...
The writer really needs to chill-out and learn some restraint...repeatedly hitting the audience over the head with the whole neurotic imposter syndrome shit isn't making the protagonist more relatable or sympathetic at this point...it's just making him pathetic.
We get it he's supposed to be an underdog character but at this point he's less of an underdog (psychologically and socially speaking) and more like an abused mongrel...who's still cowering and whimpering in the corner even after he's been "adopted" by the loving princess.
