Just got a note from Maono. The new name for this is The Maonocaster AM200 S1. To be more environmentally friendly they're reducing some of the packaging and taking out 1 of the 3.5 to 3.5 audio cables. They originally sent 3 but I think 2 is sufficient.

Number 2 is ''USB-A to USB-C Cable'' it has on his tag '' Use when connecte to a computer or charging''. i Wish i can see a photo of those 3 cables back to back to understand what is my missing pièce

@@robsmith1232 if you’re going to want that many you may consider investing in something more professional. The zoom 8, I think, looks like the rodecaster pro and can hold tons of different sound effects and allows for xlr inputs.

The thing is they sent me this little award for being their top influencer of 2020 so I felt guilty and quickly edited it. Could've done better with the b roll but when I was filming it I just wasn't feeling it. I have a stack of stuff to get through but I'm just going to pace it out. After I watched your review of the Maonocaster on Amazon I decided to purchase one. I love it, but could not figure out how to get it to work with my iPad. Thanks for explaining it in this video. I also have a Behringer mixer and using the Maonocaster for some of the things I want to do is so much easier.
I should be getting the new Maonocaster to review this week. That one looks sick, it's $199 so double the price but is the same thing as the rodecaster and the goxlr.

In case anyone only cares about the voice changer, it's at 3:21 There isn't any customizable setting for the alternative pitches (meaning you cant make the pitches higher or lower for female, male, baby/"chipmunk," and robot), but if you wanted to know how it sounds like, there you go 👍

Yes, Maono is sendind me a different mixer it's like a step above this one. It's almost $200 but honestly it looks so much more professional, it has XLR ports as well.
Great video. Thanks to you I got this board. I have one major issue. I cannot seem to hear my music or my computer connected unless my monitor slider is turned up. The music knob doesn’t do it alone. Which is annoying because then I will always hear myself through the mic. This makes gaming or commenting while listening to music difficult. Is this a malfunction of my board or is it how it was designed?

Perfect! Works well for streaming with a home studio setup and budget friendly! Only wish I knew a way to overwrite/rerecord the 8 prerecorded sound efx as it's pretty useless & cheesy.

Yes but if you want to plug your guitar in this one won't work, it doesn't have xlr ports unfortunately but if you're just using 1 mic for your voice and acoustic guitar I think this will be fine. It's a budget item that is very convenient.
This was great. I have a quetion... what aboout if you have a USB Mic and want to connect it to the board? I tried using the audio jack from the headphone port and plug it in. Saw that in another video but that didnt work. thank so much in advnace.
You can get a usb to 3.5 jack to accomodate your microphone. The usb port is more to connect devices, not microphones. I don't know why they didn't make it with usb inputs but I think they're making a new one.

Unfortunately nothing this inexpensive. If you need 4 xlr mics your best bet is the RodeCaster amzn.to/3cAn9WL It's not cheap but it's Rode so you'll have it forever and you'll have how easy it is to use.
Hello! In the video you have a cable connected to the iPad that says "3" but the one I bought only comes with the cable "1" which is USBC - USBC and the cable "2" is USBC - USB. The one you bought came with that one or did you buy it separately? Thanks!
just connect to your IPAD via USB C to USB A then lightning adapter if you have the non USB C version of the IPAD. If you don't then its as simple as connecting the Maono lite using a USB C to USB C cable. Then just use whatever software in your IPAD to record. I believe she has another video on how to connect to the IPAD. I would check that one out.
Yes, if $100 is all you can afford but if you have an extra $100, so 200 total, I recommend getting the Maonocaster. That one has xlr inputs which allows you to use better microhones for singing.

I am currently trying to use an IRIG adapter which gives you a little more gain. So I connect my Samson Qu2 via xlr to this IRIG adapter then the IRIG has a 3.5mm male plug which in turn would go into your Maonocaster lite input. It works so far.
I am having a issue setting mine up. I want to have my phone calls sent to my computer with this so i can record them. I want my computer sounds and the person i am calling come through my head phones. Is that able to be done with this. Any help would be great.
I don't know what sidetone is. Anything can be surround sound depending on what software you use in post but as for live it's just stereo. It has bluetooth but I recommend reaching out to Maono for those answers. I don't want to say something that's inaccurate.
Could I change the built-in sounds with my own sounds? I mean, are that sounds interchangeable? That sounds are great but I think it would be better change them after a while.
I bought one and when I put the headphones into the headset input I only get one side/mono playing. When I plug the same headphones into the output plug in on the unit I get stereo/both channels on the headphones. Do you know if that is normal?
Question, Does the Monitor only controls the audio of your headphone or does it also control the (Output, Output 1 and Output 2) Jacks? I ask as I just received my unit last week and when I use usb connection the output is low even though the volume levels on Mic/ Rec switch are all the way up. But when I use the Output Jacks audio is great, but if I turn monitor all the way down I lose headphone and output audio as well.

There’s cables to just plug in the phone. This will give you the persons audio from the phone and if you’re streaming it will be a regular call.

I am having a issue setting mine up. I want to have my phone calls sent to my computer with this so i can record them. I want my computer sounds and the person i am calling come through my head phones. Is that able to be done with this. Any help would be great.

Does it have sidetone? Does it do surround sound? Can it support my gaming headset?
I don't know what sidetone is. Anything can be surround sound depending on what software you use in post but as for live it's just stereo. It has bluetooth but I recommend reaching out to Maono for those answers. I don't want to say something that's inaccurate.
Could I change the built-in sounds with my own sounds? I mean, are that sounds interchangeable? That sounds are great but I think it would be better change them after a while.
Yes you can, it would just be mislabeled and you do have those empty buttons that you can program with sounds as well.
I bought one and when I put the headphones into the headset input I only get one side/mono playing. When I plug the same headphones into the output plug in on the unit I get stereo/both channels on the headphones. Do you know if that is normal?

There’s 3 3.5 ports so up you can have 3 mics

Well you can livestream to twitch but I don't know how you get the xbox hookup in there/

Question, Does the Monitor only controls the audio of your headphone or does it also control the (Output, Output 1 and Output 2) Jacks? I ask as I just received my unit last week and when I use usb connection the output is low even though the volume levels on Mic/ Rec switch are all the way up. But when I use the Output Jacks audio is great, but if I turn monitor all the way down I lose headphone and output audio as well.
Yes, it only controls the headphones. Reach out to Maono if you're having other issues. The headphone control shouldn't control your out audio.

It only as 3.5 inputs. I recommend getting a regular audio mixer for instrument inputs like the Behringer. amzn.to/38P11oD
