BAKED LIMA BEANS (butter beans) with SPINACH & FETA

- Lakis shares one of our favourite recipes for gigantes (aka Lima or Butter Beans). We're using the fabulous, earthy black ones here, baked in the oven with fresh spinach and feta cheese, but you can use the regular white ones and they'll be just as delicious!
Eating healthy never tasted so good folks! And, not only is it easy on the pocket, it's also a breeze to make! It's gluten-free and, if you leave out the cheese, makes a great vegan-friendly dish too. Give your taste buds and your loved ones a treat and make this super-tasty, super-nutritious baked bean dish. Hello my friends!!!!! What an amazing recipe, perfect for vegetarians /veggies like me!!!! But, I have never seen these black beans before. Can I , instead, use the usual ones?? Those with which we make "gigantes', the white big ones????
Hello friend! Thank you for watching and enjoying our latest video and for your comment. We appreciate it very much. Of course you can make this delicious recipe with the regular white beans....in fact we've made it many times with them ourselves too! We discovered the black gigantes a few years ago and love the rich, earthy flavour of them which goes perfect with this recipe, so when we do it, we like to use the black ones. But the white ones work very good too! Try it and you will see!
