It’s amazing the durability of these now. Just 15 years ago a trip to the skate park usually resulted in a wasted car after just minutes, if not seconds.
It goes to show how far Plastic Tech has come, Just since the early 2000's

I love that yall were upgrading the kids ride on. My 5 year old son has a power wheels fourwheeler that I've modified to run off a dewalt 9ah 60v battery with a speed controller. He can literally take that plastic toy anywhere I can take my real fourwheeler. The next upgrade will be rubber tires.
My kids power wheel runs off of two 18 volt Milwaukee drill batteries

Just bought an XMaxx! First proper high quality hobby grade RC truck. Thanks for educating me on my new purchase! I bought it and immediately broke a rear drive cup by switching to 70/30 without adjusting the throttle trim and it went flying backwards into the corner of my homes cement foundation 😭 10 minutes of fun and I'll have a week to wait before it runs again haha

My son loves your videos and watches them obsessively. Got my friend to bring his xmaxx around as my son is currently visiting me during the school holidays, got to the skate park to have a problem with the clutch, went back got it fixed and took for a test drive outside the house. It drove 5 ft then on the first full power run the esc died in flames. Looks like he will have to wait a little longer to drive an xmaxx but he's loving the videos!

8:00 - my mother bought my lil one a Merc version - what motor and battery combo would fit in these for some proper power? Also has the remote controller too, so might rewire it all to have proper RC components

Kev, I need you to look into the Skydio 2+ self-flying, camera drone. A buddy pointed out the thing's insane tracking ability and all I could think about was how bonkers it would be it you could get it to track your RCs (well, especially the X-Maxx cause that's the dream!).

Nice!!! Serious question though, how was the diffs not clicking after like 4-5 throttle pulls!?!?!? Mine is to the point were the difs go in less that 5 minutes! Only thing I haven't done is switch out the whole bulkhead (wondering if the bulkhead just gets wallard out after a while)

My uncle designs power wheels for fisher price and those motors are rated for double the power as the come, love what you did might make a bad ass rc if you pop in some front end servo's 🤔🤣👌. Great work tho thanks for the awesome videos as always 👍!

i have actually put a castle mamba monster 8s into my kids power wheel 4 wheeler i even put in a receiver and esc so i can control speed the kid steers so no need for servo its actually crazy fast

Kev you should make a kids car in to a rc car
that little ride on porsche: you could take one of your monster R/C motors, speed controller and 8s and send it.....instead of the input on the receiver, the ESC could use a small rheostat hooked up to the gas pedal.
I've seen some high end cobras that use a 12v induction motor and a monster AGM car battery...they rip!
How much to get it where you have it? Total mod list and cost?
Hey kev i just saw you setup yor esc with full punch that is really bad for your gears and motor and esc and and also your batteries that why it overheated also I think you need more preload on the rear shocks its squatting to much ❤️

Add a little weight to the front end Kevin not to much it slows it down just to help keep the front end down the stick on wheel weights is what I use
