Last year I bought a Kraton 6s as my first rc car ever. And this year, I've just ordered myself an Xmaxx and I couldn't be more excited about it!
You have gotten me back in to rc cars I went and bought some small tool's and I'm ordering me a arrma granite today can't wait to start playing

Great choice. I have the V3 Granite BLX. I've beat the crap out of it and so far NOTHING has broken. Except for the tethers that hold the body clips 🤣

The new body looks sick!! Thanks for playing a part I getting me into R/Cs, and for introducing me to all these awesome budget R/Cs! My first and current RC is my modified WLTOYS 144001, it has a Hobbywing 1060 brushed ESC (works great), a drop in metal gear 3 wire servo, and a DumboRC X6 radio and receiver. I'm still running the stock 550 brushed motor, when it wears out I'm probably going brushless!

And so it begins, going down the rabbit hole. I was you last year and now I own a Traxxis Maxx (what he referred to as the mini-Maxx). While sure, I'd love an X-Maxx, the normal Maxx was much easier to pay for. Its a blast to have and thrash around with. My son loves to drive it too. Its been a good bonding item for us to spend time together around.
I haven't used any ARMA cars, but Traxxis makes some good RC cars.

Been out of rc for almost ten years. Your videos and quarantine got me back into it. I just bought a kraton 6s and an xmaxx👍👍👍. Been out in the snow but really looking forward to spring to give them a proper bashing!

I just bought my first xmaxx late last year and the only reason I got it is your videos and I gotta say it's super helpful seeing it being rebuilt. I think I'm gonna get one of those raptor bodies and paint it a nice bright purple

Awesome body choice for the monster truck Kevin. My first vehicle was a 1968 Chevy C10 stepside, the X Max definitely looks epic. I can't wait to see the monster truck finished.

It doesnt always make them go crazy, its actually more of a psychedelic to them, so them "going crazy" may be them having a bad trip 😂😂
Nice, you push yours beyond what I am ready to do! I put a FPV cam on one of my replacement tops. Its pretty fun to see it from the "drivers view". I like the shoe glue idea and will have to do that.

Quick tip for yall. Seen where kev had a screw round out. If yall have one round out, get a torx bit the same size. The points usually give a bit of grip n will back the screw out. Always worth a try before attempting to drill it out

OR try getting the proper tool for the job the 1st time around

Add the aluminum plates between the bulk and skidplates and the bulks are going to last 10X longer. Also start using tekno rc pinions with the softer blue loctite and just be done with the pinion struggles everyone! Great vid KEV!😍😍😍☝🏽

Cause of kev I took some of my speedrun collection and set it to side bought 2 xmaxx and been sending to the moon ever since lol what’s crazy was I was getting a knocking sound out my one xmaxx and brought it to shop 3 weeks later still waiting but watching kev inspired me to go get it today and fix it myself this guy is absolutely epic

Without even seeing this rebuild run, I'm feeling bad for it. I absolutely know you want to test out these new parts. Poor XMAXX. But I know you're loving on it now. I'll say this, you're very good at rebuilding trucks, but it's a ;ot of work to fix it, but you seem to have as much fun rebuilding it, as you do bashing it. I can't wait to see your Monster Truck up and running. I bet you don't take that one to the Moon. lol Just so your sponsors know, I got the XMAXX because of your channel. I love it when you say it's your favorite RC truck. You know more about the RC world than anyone else. Try using 3M 90 spray glue on the drywall tap sometime. It's holding up on my RCs in the snow. It's mush faster than smearing Shoe Glue on it. I love the Red. XMAXX is back, better than new! Lets get to it.

Just a small tip kev. If you use a star hex key it gets more bite in the rounded allen bit hole. . Works a treat . Then if in doubt get the dril bit out. Hope this tip was handy.

Hey Kevin! That was a Great X Maxx rebuilding video and all the insight of what was done and upgrades on that Beast! I love the new body it's Killer the red is all you! I picked up a couple of sets of those RPM roof skid bar kit and put them on my UDR's Fox 🦊 bodies and turned out Great to! Keep up the great content and videos! Can't wait to start seeing the Monster truck parts start rolling in to! 🤔😉👍📹
