Something I forgot to mention is that BM3 now supports flashing maps that were made in offline editors. This may motivate more tuners to support BM3 if they were concerned with privacy wh3n their maps are uploaded to the BM3 Cloud service. We'll see 🤔
Thanks for the video! I've talked to a few tuners who have raised this as a major issue. Meaning BM3 steals tunes from tuners when uploaded into their cloud. It doesn't totally resolve the issue unless the tuners can lock or prohibit customers from uploading the tunes afterwards. We shall see! Do you happen to know if people can integrate Reflex+ to BM3 like Ecutek?
You can’t upload anything back to cloud. Too easy to verify on your own but I guess its easier to just speculate. I am already using it for my customers who want to get tuned this way
For that offline flashing I saw Twisted Tuning already announced on their instagram new support for bm3 because of that and I hear many others now using it because maps don’t need to be in the cloud. I never really understood this by these tuners but glad to see bm3 making so many literally HUGE updates on software and hardware last few months. Wonder what’s next for them. I think they got their Rev2 board coming next as I’ve seen some buzz around it now in a few places online
hey, am sure you made a video on flex fuel before, but i am so confused! you say you can put any amount of ethanol in and just drive, but what if i accidently fill all the way up to e60-70, when supras/B58s can only take E30/40 with stock tuning before risking a fuel crash, does the map adjust itself?
Does this support port injection for the MT supras or do you still have to run a separate controller for it, if so would you consider releasing a video about the B58 fuelling options especially for the MT A90’s. Much appreciated!
@@kern417 ah thank you so much! Im trying to understand more about cars in general and your channel really helped me a lot. The manual A90 is what finally got me interested in cars as I am contemplating on getting one soon (waiting on the 2024 now) Where I am from, cars are massively taxed to the point where a new civic here would be more expensive than a new M3 in the states. Needless to say the tuning and modding options here are very limited. So I am trying to have a better understanding of everything before I dive in. I plan to go with Remnant performance Gamma system for the intake manifold but i’m unsure as to how the fuelling for the port injections would work, do you need another LPFP? How does the ecu handle the extra fuel injectors? Really looking forward to your updated video soon!
Just depends on your goals. It can get expensive with new cars. We're also still finding clutch upgrade options for the A90 trans. We'll see what develops this year.
@@kern417 Clutchmasters released the FX1000 for it a few weeks ago. Supposed to be really good. It should likely handle well beyond what the transmission itself can handle.
You plan to get the aluminum intake manifold(BMS/BN manifold) for your 340i? This would be for the people who would opt to get port without getting an EOS/RKv2 manifold
Precision Raceworks Port Injection with a Motiv Reflex. I can also hook you up with a discount if you use the BimmerNetwork link in the video description
I can’t switch maps in my 2020 M340i. I can get my ethanol content to read, but when I enter map switching mode, it won’t actually switch to a new map. Antilag also won’t work either :(
I think i'll finally be pulling the trigger to send my DME to femto next month with this news! -- Secondly, how are you liking the intake manifold so far? Any more test results? I've heard the EOS is the best .. but i wouldn't mind slightly less performance for some bigger $$ savings.. considering i'm just a street car that enjoys the occasional highway pulls.
Definitely sending my ecu to femto next month. My goal is to make 600-650 wheel without meth. I have the 8 speed automatic 2023 g26. What you recommend for my goals?

Well BM3 might be the clear choice now, have been on the fence about what tune for my m340. Was strongly leaning towards MHD but not sure now
I bet it’ll eventually come to MHD too…they’re likely to move quick - no hard info though
Finger's crossed
G30 Flex Fuel kit next......PLEASE!

This has nothing to do with port. You still need a separate controller. I made a video a few years ago but may make an updated one

Would you have to go custom tune for flex fuel? Bm3 has ots maps for e30 and e50
both bm3 and mhd have ots flex fuel maps

Working well so far. Will be posting data when we finish tuning
Where the femto wiki to see if my 2023 m440i mild hybrid is unlockable?
sorry forgot to add the link. it is in the video description now.
If I buy a typical stage 2 OTS map from bm3, can I adjust it? Like can I customise it? Timing and boost etc
No
B58 440i running MHD tune with catless DP, Dorch stage 2 HPFP, and stock turbo. What is the benefit of adding an MHD flex fuel kit?
Automatic adjustment for ethanol content
@@kern417 so, no need to mix and measure?

Odintuned
Are you still with MHD? Which Flex Fuel Analyzer are you using?
Yes. Reflex on my 440i, MHD on my 340i

Hectic good or bad?
