@@torrer2013 my civic spark plugs failed because they got oil damage, if you press hard on the gas the spark plug is working too hard, it will fail prematurely. the acceleration must be good without any catalytic restriction, remember, you have 8 spark plugs Not 4, so the power is 4 times as high than regular car without assist. any backflow will make engine overheat and make those spark plugs work alot harder, i reccomend changing all your oils regularly
did changing the plugs fix your misfire? did you end up needing any other parts? did you experience sluggish/ stuttered acceleration prior to the repair?

civic hybrid used iridium only, honda reccomends laser spark plugs, only available online
