So in this case coils are the culprit , but could be several factors like spark plugs , compression , maf sensor and the list goes on , and for these fix&!ng reason I love older cars , even though I own a 2010 Honda Civic hybrid with 377 k miles .

them coils expensive! my cylinder 1 and 4 were misfiring. i Took my cylinder 4 coil out and it was hella crusty and the factory rubber piece at the bottom thats usually red turned yellow over time.

Do these civic have fuel injectors?

Another one , how you get them off , the one's that were broken?
You can use a pick and carefully pick them out. Or spray wd40 and let it sit and try to pull it out later

Hi Dude, my problem ,on my car has. OT 12 volt on the front side ignition coil. How I can test it's?
I am getting p1435 and car has no pickup I change plugs clean fuel pump

I got the same thing with the broken coil its on cylinder 4. But I got misfire on 1 and 3, then a Random misfire PO300 code
I one broken in the back also. I noticed I have a oil splatter on the cylinder 4 coil plug connection

Dude I just don't understand this LDA MF5!!! since it's an i-4 how does it have eight ignition coils? why did you say it basically has 8 cylinders?
8 spark plugs (2 for each cylinder) to get FULL fuel combustion everytime it ignites. To increase fuel efficiency.

Holding up great as far as I know.
I put all new coils and plugs. Didnt fix it. It only misfires when I cold start it. After I run the engine for a minute it stops.
