Brunsås/gräddsås. (brown sauce/Cream sauce) is the backbone of swedish husmanskost (Classic swedish food). Its as important as potatoes or lingonberry. I think its not that uncommon to use black pepper in Cream sauce.(I do atleast) But when it comes to white sauce/Béchamel sauce its white pepper. Thank you for a great episode.
