Its a little bit sad many of the classic high quality swedish brands has been sold and moved produktion outside Sweden.

Ekelunds is a realy old company I think it dates back to 1692 or something, They are also royal court supplier (Kunglig hovleverantör). Kosta Boda/Orrefors was sold to I think a danish company and first thing they did was close Orrefors and moved production. Orrefors Jernverk (Ironwork) is made in China. Most of the glass is made in Kosta Boda, Sweden. If I remember correctly. The hearth thingy almost look like the ones we had for coffefilter around Christmas in our family here in Sweden. And we had paper ones in the Christmas tree, sometime we filled them with nuts or candy. Välkommen skylt (Welcome sign) Is extremly common amongs older people here in Sweden. You can find them on apartment doors, Sommarstuga (summer cottage), Or normal doors to people homes. The Grenna candies I have never seen in that package, But as you said Grenna is the birthplace of the classic Polkagris. The red Hallon karamellerna was one of my grandparents favorit candy (from another company) back in the 80s. They was called Kungen av Danmark (King of Denmark) they have a long history and I think they was used by the king to treat sore throat. The kind of candy has a swedish name "Bröstkarameller". Candy that is used for Sore throat. Every house in Sweden has a Wooden Butterknife. The first thing you did in School when you had woodwork. Mine was so ugly and was almost impossible to use. Still my mother saved it. :)

But this is realy classic candys that has been around for atleast 40 years or more.

Smash is extremly popular in Norway it came from there, In Sweden not so much but you can get it here if you want. When you Say Kex you need to Say Kex chocklad if you want a swede to understand what candy you talk about. If you say Kex only it would be like saying cracker in english.

The "Swedish fish" was brought to North America by the company Malaco and its called Pastellfiskar and are still sold in Sweden. But after a short time in the US/Canadian market they changed the recipie. So the Swedish fish you have today is not like the original anymore. The shape is almost the same but taste and texture is very different. We had a summer Kiosk/Café from mid 80s to mid 00s. The small box with Fruxo/Pim Pim/Zoo is called Tablettask in Swedish.

Awesome! This is good stuff. Our ansjovis is not what the rest of the world calls anchovy. I've never seen it outside Sweden. It's a different species of fish. You can substitute it with matjessill though. But this is a classic. Fantastic on a piece of toast as a starter or on its own.

That pan is called a "plättlagg". Every Swedish home has one. They are often handed down through generations. You can also buy them new. You cannot make plättar without it. That's just a fact of life.

I dont know anything about making cocktails. But I like how much thought its behind making thoose drinks.

Donut in Swedish is Munk! They are not exactly the same but best we have. The pan you have is a "plättjärn". Small pancakes in sweden are called Plättar or in the north (small) små plättar. Because its common to call ordinary pancakes plättar in northern Sweden.

Cool! Here is a cocktail suggestion for you ... Swedish Negroni 20-30 ml O.P. Anderson Original Aquavit. 20 ml Martini Rosso. 20 ml Campari. Orange wedge or zest. It's a nice riff on a classic.
