Swedish pancakes are round and the size of the Crepe (French pancake) The biggest difference is that crepes is not made in a pan and they are thinner and use more eggs. But compared to american Pancakes they both are much thinner.
Donut in Swedish is Munk! They are not exactly the same but best we have. The pan you have is a "plättjärn". Small pancakes in sweden are called Plättar or in the north (small) små plättar. Because its common to call ordinary pancakes plättar in northern Sweden.
That pan is called a "plättlagg". Every Swedish home has one. They are often handed down through generations. You can also buy them new. You cannot make plättar without it. That's just a fact of life.

Thanks guys. I always make my Swedish pancakes about crepe size. I order my pancake mix and syrup from Al Johnson’s. ❤
