I don’t remember exact size of the window in this video, over all thickness is 1/2 . Measure day light ( glass part that you can see) frame to frame and add 3/4” to it that would give you the size of the glass or if you want to be 100% safe you can remove corner screws and pull frame off and measure existing glass! Hello my names Jake, I was wondering if you would be so kind as to create me a list of daylight measurements and what I would need to account for such as sliders , patio doors and anything else you might be able to think of, I would greatly appreciate this and send a lot of people your way for instructional videos. I will be going into glazing soon and have been studying your videos as best I can but you always seem to know the correct measurements from daylight. thank-you for the great videos.
There are many different set ups for windows but I can tell you some of the most common measurements.: Single pane residential windows , aluminum frame ( rubber gasket wraps the glass, and you remove corner screws to take it apart) add 1/2 to day light. Aluminum frame dual pane glass : add 3/4 to day light . Vinyl/plastic windows add 1” to day light, you can do 7/8 also to be on a safe side or if window frame is out of square. Commercial store front . Door glass add 5/8 to day light, 1/4 glass add 1/2 to day light, 1” dual pane add 7/8 or 3/4 to be safe .
Hey, I love your videos bro I broke my glass the other day but it's the other one that can't move the other side. I don't know what to take it out of the wall out of the screen to fix it. Do you have a video suggestion? I could use thanks.
There should be two screws outside that hold vertical division bar/ fixed window frame . Here is the link th-cam.com/video/lqvPQrDi_hM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=GR_Ic8X8HLEyzJwr it’s not the same but same concept, hope it helps.
What size of glass is this window and thickness as well. Mines looks exactly like it.

Good video!
How to make a rubber seal
Have to reuse old one or buy new. Also you could use silicone after the glass is in the frame.
I guess the Gloves are Optional
I realized I didn’t wear gloves when editing the video lol.
