As Ravi's dad says: this is so awesome. More like this, please! Films like these are making me miss America and remember why it's so... awesome. Also: Ravi and his dad need their own show....
This is terrific. Native-born Americans should see this (and other films like it) so that they can understand immigrants and what their experience is like and get rid of any stereotypes they may have.
The show is literally designed to go outside of your comfort zone. You will see things on it that are not allowed on cable TV. So don't expect the whole thing to be like this clip. This is fantastic, though. I love it.
Oh my God , this just made me cry like a baby. These guys just hit the nail on the head. I love these guys. And the tall guy at the end just got it so right. That Trump guy needs to see this. ''This has made me so emotional , because it's true.
My dad lived in the US for 13 years from 1999-2012. The pictures, videos and stories about living with roommates and just cruising around with their pals are just too familiar!
I like how the dad's friend said he is afraid of the racial divisions getting to America. Imagine that. A brown man who immigrated to America in 1960s and did well for himself and his family through that era is now afraid of racial divisions wreaking havoc on America-- that is what woke, identity politics, victimhood politics does. Someone with nothing, came to America, worked hard, and did alright. People who got the ultimate lottery and were born in America seem to find things to complain about but others come here don't complain, just work to make their dreams come true.
loved this... but makes me very sad that their final comments were for a less divided America... and now a year later we are more divided than ever. VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!
Wow..to have such cool dads..especially the tiny one. My dad is more like Hitler compared to these two. Still..it makes me miss him. Havent seen him 2,5 years. Oversharing over here..sorry..this just made me ..feel shit.
I’m an Indian American. Our story is slightly different from Ravi’s. My dad, mom, sis and myself emigrated to NYC when I was 8 in 1989. I’ve seen Ravi talk about his “Indianness” and it comes off as very fake. Perhaps, it’s cuz I wasn’t born here. Perhaps, it might’ve been that we were lower middle class in Brooklyn trying to assimilate and find out way. And maybe Ravi’s upbringing was different. But mostly it’s probably cuz he came off as really douchey when he was on Maher. Umm...yeah, it’s probably cuz of that.
Hilarious. I kept laughing at it. One Indian parents exaggerate their struggles and minimize ours...haha "What struggle! You get food and water, no?!?" They were way more liberal in their own lives, and when I went to school: "Don't talk to a single boy." (Btw xrated movies and porn shops....Um...What!?! I'm sure their village will be happy to hear this...haha Also that's kinda creepy...and gross.)
Conservative Californian - Too bad you weren’t around 400 years ago to tell the Europeans to GTFO. You could have been the greatest native American hero. The Crazy Horse Memorial in South Dakota could have been the Conservative Californian Memorial.
This is the American Dream. I actually teared up a little at this.
Same.
Fuck all the dreams
Dude, no joke - me too
They moved here during the civil rights era and yet say it’s worse today. We have serious work to do! 😔
this is one of the sweetest things I've ever seen
As Ravi's dad says: this is so awesome. More like this, please! Films like these are making me miss America and remember why it's so... awesome. Also: Ravi and his dad need their own show....
" Films like these are making me miss America"
YOU are Miss America?
Hardi-har-har, I crack myself up sometimes.
This is terrific. Native-born Americans should see this (and other films like it) so that they can understand immigrants and what their experience is like and get rid of any stereotypes they may have.
I dunno man. The Navajos and Iroquois are quite cool with the brown people tbh 🤷
This was good to watch; glad they did this segment. Although it would've been nice to hear from the women in their families as well.
sah19 I think they wanted to show more of the brotherhood amongst their fathers that is emulated in their male circle of friends.
Indians are polite, cool, intelligent and have such a rich history..and myriad great food..

I'm old enough to remember the sixties (barely). The Viet Nam War divided the U.S. way more then it is today.
Do you have full footage of of the clippings of old chicago featured in here ?

To all those white suprematists. I’m a Canadian. I’m white. My grandparents were born in England, Ireland, and Ukrainian. Should we all go home too?

Say hi to Eesha for me!
Gun crime has fallen greatly since the 1990s in America.
They came here LEGALLY
even legal immigrants get harassed by hick MAGAs gtfo the government is literally curving legal migration from certain countries
Bertha Lovejoy that’s good, less legals please
@@theservius2913 TRASH MAGAt
