Thank you, Vanessa. I LOVED THIS TUTORIAL!!! My neighbor has a little “retirement” farm and had throat cancer many years ago. He has severe muscle spasms in his neck when he goes out to tend to his animals (mini donkeys, mini horses, and fainting goats) in the cold. Thanks to this easy tutorial, I am going to slip this happy little neck warmer onto his porch today. This project took me less than 15 minutes to make. Great job!!! Your hard work is appreciated. Merry Christmas.

Young lady, your tutorials are exceptionally well made. I really enjoy the fact that you are extremely well spoken and well versed in what you do. I enjoy the way you explain things clearly without getting too technical or explanatory about what you are doing. So many presenters and demonstrators try getting far too technical with their projects and will get too far into the nuances of their projects. As a viewer I find those approaches to be tedious and often, overly boring and not an enjoyable viewing experience. You don't do that. Your project descriptions and explanations are very well thought and planned. You speak in a way that is simple, clear and easy to understand without being too technical. Thank you.

Thank you for this video. A friend made me one of these years ago and I was trying to deconstruct hers to make more. I searched on youtube and found this video. What a clever way to make it, this design is so much better than the one I have, the stitches are better hidden and it is so quick and easy. Thank you for your tutorial!

WOW....I knew your tute for today Vanessa would soon hit the site trail here , was anxious to see it pop up...and sit back once again for a time to "marvel" at the simplicity and reward of fun making this Fleece Neck Warmer. Talk about a versatile wearable.....this is the one. Not only just a neck warmer but head warmer as well...and am glad that you mentioned thru out the tute about adjusting the sizes.....height wise for whatever "need" you might want to experience with this gem of a project.
Great ear warmer if made narrow....the sky is the limit for just wearing it on one's head in addition to the initial purpose for this particular project. Super wearable for Babies on up to the Seniors in your life!!!
I had to admit with the fleece stash that I have, ..Ole Papabear Ken here had to smile...just thinking of the "stocking stuffers" I am going to whip up in literally minutes starting with my 4 grands....then some countless folks, friends and relatives that I'd like to give a little something to.
Thanks yet once again Vanessa for a super project shared with us for DAY 8 of the last minute DIY series.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!!

I needed something to keep warm while running during winter. I didn’t want to spend much money, so I decided to give this a try. I’m not good at sewing at all, but this turned out fine. I made it tall enough to be able to cover my nose and mouth if needed while running. Thanks for keeping the instructions simple!

Oh Vanessa this video came at the perfect time for me. Every winter, I make fleece scarves and hats to take to our local mission church that feeds and clothes those that need it for free. I’ve been cutting the scarves but haven’t been able (Fibromyalgia and Arthritis) to make any hats yet. I try to do some of this in the summer and I do have some hats made but nearly not enough. I try to cut the scarves wide enough to wrap over the head if needed. I have already purchased all my fleece throughout this year as it was on sale and THIS NECK WARMER is what I am going to make. I have used your hat tutorial in the past as well as one that is less work for me for making the hats. I can’t thank you enough for this tutorial. It will be the perfect project for me to sew and it’s quick and easy. I can get a lot more made and keep a lot more people warm. Thank you so much. May God Bless You and your family this holiday season.
Keep those quick and easy projects coming!!! You never know how important that a simple neck warmer can be to those that need them. Hugs. ❤️❤️❤️

Vanessa, this is probably one of the best all around tutorials I have ever seen. I not only learned how to make the neckwarmer, but I learned a bunch of other tips as well...how to CUT fleece fabric...how to choose the LENGTH and WIDTH for a zigzag stitch when sewing fleece fabric...how to correctly KNOT the thread on a hand sewing needle and how to HIDE the stitches while hand sewing. Wowza...so much goodness in ONE tutorial...thank you! My only question for you is how much more fabric should I include if I wanted to make the neck warmer tall enough to pull up and convert to use as a neck warmer/hoodie?
