She has six albums that are out she is in all genres and she cannot be put in just one genre she is the cool kids pic try the joke it's 61st Grammy's
More recent songs to check out are the “The Joke”. The video is amazing as is her live performance on the Grammys. Her voice is even richer as she’s gotten older. For a more acoustic vibe, The Eye is great. She is such a remarkable songwriter. The more you learn about her the more impressed you’ll be.
Brandi Carlisle is so amazing. She went to Joni Mitchell to see if she could perform Joni's Blue album. They became close friends and actually she talked Joni into performing this summer at the Newport Folk Festival. It was the first full set for Joni since 2002 after her aneurysm. She helped Joni with the lyrics and I gained new respect for Brandi. Beautifully gifted Brandi has had several hits such as The Story, The Joke and Mother. Great reaction Craig. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Any live performance she does is amazing!! She does not hold back at all. One of my favorites is when she sang River at Joni Mitchell honors at the Kennedy Center. Absolutely amazing!!

Brandi is my favorite to watch song reactions. Her voice blows everyone away 😅
Her live performances are really something to observe. The one that broke her into the "mainstream" was The Joke at the 2019 Grammys. She blew everyone else who performed that night away, but really any live performance you watch will be worth it. She did two songs on Saturday Night Live that are wonderful and show how diverse her sound can be.
She's outrageously talented check out her live performance when she played 2 songs including "The Story" on the UK's "Later...with Jools Holland" show in 2008!
Brandi’s latest album is called In These Silent Days and it is great. The song Right On Time is another stunningly great song that was up for Grammy song of the year. I highly recommend you react to that song. Her voice is unique and outstanding

Love this song! It's a bit older but holds up. You mentioned the growl in her voice but the 'breaks' are just killer when put together with the high notes and amped-up volume. Really good!

I totally agree. I would suggest her live performance of this song at the Grammys. I don’t remember the year but probably about 4-5 years ago. The note she hits at the end is crazy!!

Nice reaction, please check out Brandi in The Highwomen, it is literally the female version of The Highwaymen, the writer helped the women rewrite it and it is SO powerful.

Janice Freeman on The Voice USA did a splendid rendition of this song (give it a look, I would love to see your reaction to that performance). So much that Janice was invited to one of Brandi’s concerts to sing this song. We miss you Janice 🤍

Although she is unique I'm getting a mixture of Alanis Morissette, Chrissie Hynde, (another female that I can't place)with a sprinkle of a more melodic Janis Joplin.

She is an inspiratiin, yesterday I discovered it was performed by Dolly Parton, years before... Both sides now with Joni Mitchell live was so good and sweet. She does a performance every year in a womans piston, there I discovered 'the mother'....... I came across Brandi after watching the movie 'The Starling', with Melissa McCarthy, and I fell in love with her as well, so good, both woman.... Great reaction, thanks

Been waiting for this reaction! The Joke is another awesome song!
The songs on this album were recorded live with the full band playing at once. Not in separate studios and mixed later. She knows exactly what she’s doing with her voice, full stop. Others have mentioned her live performances, and I agree. ‘Pride and Joy’ is an especially powerful song to hear in concert.
I should edit to add; she’s incredibly approachable as a person. You can even get texts from her - sometimes with advance info, sometimes with random daily life stuff. And she even replies (you know it’s her if it’s signed XOBC).

“In The Morrow” is my favorite song from Brandi. But she truly has no bad song.
