I've never done one with that kind of spring, neat to see that.
Thanks for watching!
Good job see ya next time!
Later.
Short , simple and as always very informative. Thank you Scott. If I could ever figure out a way to train with you for just one week I would definitely try. You take care brother and thank you again sir.
You get to train twice a week with the videos!
@@TheGreasyShopRag point taken sir. Thank you
Thank you. One thing out of many is your theory on what happened. While doing the repair you’re giving ideas to what happened. Won’t start and a lot of pulls, so why no start. Sharp eyelit, bad rope , short rope, etc.
Well I figure if you're gonna suffer through one of my boring videos you might as well get something out of it. Thanks for watching!
Thanks, Scott!!
Thankd for tuning in!
Nice Repair Brother 😊👍🏼 I See a Lot of Those Recoils Were The Customer Has Pulled So Hard On The Rope They Break The Spring and Wallow Out The Hole on The Starter Dog I Think They Forget That It’s Spring Assist Easy Start Not a Regular Recoil 😐😐😬
Most home owners don't have a clue its spring assist. They just yank till it starts or they tire out.
Good one. My guess he is a long arm fella. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Could be. That rope was a bit generic looking so who knows.
Yep pull rope usually some other chit. I like your video neighbor LATER
Thanks for watching!
I have been having a problem with the gas vent valve getting stuck open. I have gone through three of them in only one year. I'm going to leave the cap loose when not in use from now on and see if that helps.
Thats an off problem to repeat.
@TheGreasyShopRag I think it's because of the expansion and contraction of the gas. It goes from 90° in the day and 60° at night alot. Some times even hotter then 90°f..
You thought it might have been something else, but the rope said frayed knot
I like to offer as many possibilities as I can think of just to get people thinking. So many times I see people repair the result of a problem and never actually look for the cause.
Pulling it through a rag? You don’t like the feel of molten nylon on your thumb and forefinger?? LOL. I’ll have to use a rag from now on. My digits thank you!
Not any rag, a Greasy Shop Rag!
