I don't have the upgrade stuff, but I still adore my CW Magnus - before that, all I had was a yardsale G1 Magnus trailer with no hands and the Target exclusive Classics OP recolor cab, that I tyook a Dremel to the back of the head so the G1 helmet would fdit onto it. Thet combination does, surprisingly, work, but still has no hands, G1 style shoulder and elbow hinges only (REALLY loose on mine,) and falls apart if you breathe on it too hard, while CW Magnus is exactly the same size, a generally cool IDW character design update that still maintains the spirit of the character, and far, FAR more mobile and posable. The only thing I can even begin to call a problem with him is that I don't have the shelf space to bring him out of storage very much, but he's the anchor of my movie cast display when I do.
agree with y, unfortunatly i dont have PC-17 or the KOs. i also dissapointed with the WFC siege and kingdom UM. but finally cave in when they release Siege mold SG UM and i upgrade him a lot. including toyhax, leg extension from dna.
@@StopMotionReviewer1 I completely understand that but from what has been rumored the figure will have no parts forming and with a commander class budget I am hopeful studio series lately has been pretty good (for the most part)
@@StopMotionReviewer1Fun fact, Kingdom Ultra Magnus was originally going to be a white ER Optimus with trailer armour, but I guess due to the significant lack of a Leader budget to effectively pull it off, and Rodimus already taking the Commander budget in the line, they just remoulded Siege Magnus, who clearly was not designed to have an Earth mode.
imo it's a crime from the fandom when we have a white prime repaint and no 3rd party makes an upgrade Magnus trailer. also, thought on the commander class one ?
