It will never get old so long as it's still true how lay it is handled. If the parts forming could maybe mini transform just so it's easier to get out the way with some smoothness it's perfectly find for me
Gotta be honest i skipped the entire parts forming thing. I really just dont care. The only figure i truly care about in parts forming is the kingdom ultra Magnus. It's trying to be G1 despite using the mold thats trying to be something different so it just doesn't work and i dont like it. However, with Cliffjumper its a non issue, because both the robot and vehicle mode are great (i have the buzzworthy bumblebee version) and for me warpath is also a non issue, if it works it works warpath and cliff work whilst kingdom magnus is a mid firestarter. Plus i like what warpath does with the extra part, i mainly like that i can give him a Zaku Esque shoulder sheild.
"Not having to paint in the grey means saving budget" While I assume on some level you're right, we can clearly see that they had to paint at least two shades of grey into the threads on the clip you're showing.
@@DrLockdown I still think that may be untrue for Warpath at least. We can see him next to Hoist, and Hoist has a white grill, and it's brighter than Warpath's threads. So maybe Warpath having bright grey threads is not a cost cutting measure but just a weird design? I'm an artist. I don't think that makes me more qualified to judge these things than others, but it does mean I pay a lot of attention to colors and shades of colors.
Prolly not. Was never in any of the movies. I'd love them to tackle the game and movie toy characters, but nope; apparently G1 gets first billing again.
I think the big reason people hate H tanks is because they never saw actual combat use. The only real life H tank was made by the Germans in ww2 and was mostly relegated to propaganda films (it’s size helped with that) in actual combat most H tanks would probably not work too well due to the nature of the design
The old warpath = warpath on roids after Grimlock trained him how to kill better. New one is normal version and is the underdog in a struggle to overcome the challenge of taking on bigger enemies than him and hopefully not dying in the process. That's why g1 autobots with the exception of Optimus, Magnus and Grimlock are relatable to us as kids. We see consumer vehicles daily and don't look too intimidating. Decepticons on the other hand are mostly war vehicles and to us appear to us as the obvious "bullies" because thier one purpose is killing.
I don't understand all the white plastic. Also I love H tanks, but back to the kingdom warpath but I think instead of white plastic with red paint for the feet and forearms instead of red plastic with white paint.oh wait I forgot it was white plastic with white paint over it why don't they make it out of red plastic.
I don't like the kingdom warpath's alt-mode. If it is trying to look like an actual m115 sheridan, it is doing a terrible job. For examples of warpaths that actually look like sheridans, look no further than fans toys sheridan and bad cube wardog. However if kingdom is going for the toon asthetic, they hit the nail on the head.
I like the look of both the new one and the 2010 one as I’m one of those people who would say the H-Tank design is his cybertroian mode will the kingdom would be the earth mode and I would love to get kingdom of the scalpers would stop hitting my Walmart and Amazon would not make him $44. And my god that Cyclonus is gorgeous to bad again Amazon has him at $50 seriously what is wrong with my luck?
If it weren't for the borderline goofy chest, QC issues up the wazoo concerning the tank mode, and plain (and rather boring) paint job I'd probably be head-over-heels for Kingdom Warpath.
I held the Kingdom one at a friends house and I hate it. It's got nothing on the Generations Warpath. I'm a die hard G1 fan but I wish they made Warpath a voyager. I hate him being a tank and a small bot it just annoys me
I'd love Warpath to be a voyager, but alas; people want G1 toy scale. Shame. If you want a voyager, make sure the supposed upcoming SS Breakaway sells, so that Warpath (from the DOTM video game) has a chance.
@@RPO808 I'd love to think that when the Decepticons expect minibots but then big tanks of nature composing of generations warpath, universe powerglide, hftd seaspray, energon beachcomber, cloud brawn, tfp cliffjumper, roft gears, pcc huffer in full combined form and gdo wheelie,
i'm one of the unlucky ones where the parts forming is required to keep the alt mode together for me it just seems like hasbro was too lazy to fix the QC issues and instead wasted an accessory spot for a fucking panel meant to fix an issue they were too lazy to just fix with better quality well everything instead we get a stupid panel that is too small to even be a shield like seriously if the figure itself wasn't actually decent i'd say its the WFC version of ss tf2 soundwave also jesus generations warpath looks shockingly similar to a scorpion from halo
I love the video style, and the jokes were good, but got to disagree. Earthrise Warpath is not as fun to transform at all! The legs are OK, but the rest feels ehh. 2010 version all the way (also, have to say, I love it ahead design, so maybe just difference of opinion).
The kingdom figure is incredibly misleading, in my opinion. You have a character design faithfully represented of a robot with tank parts, so you would think the transformation of a robot with tank parts to a tank would be a breeze. Fuck off with that shit apparently, because it is panel forming, fidgety in a lot of areas, and way less satisfying than it should be. Also a little thin in the build quality here and there, tisk tisk.

If the parts forming could maybe mini transform just so it's easier to get out the way with some smoothness it's perfectly find for me
Isay the Kingdom version wins, as it has all the 5mm ports to add on Slammer's Modulator weapon parts and BAM! while you KA-POW!
What’s the problem with parts forming? Like why does it mean anything but “we have a toy for you”
I see it as 'cheat' in engineering; basically the easy way out. To me, it stops the transformation from being fun
fanstoys sheridan's transformation is fine lol it takes like 2 minutes
I tried it once at a mate's house and really didn't like it. Sadly can't remember why though
You’re right he does look like a Halo scorpion 😂
Dr Lockdown, do you remember Morris Minor & The Majors
?
Wha?
@@DrLockdown th-cam.com/video/JAIOzM7SsMo/w-d-xo.html
Nope never heard of them
is the lick in your intro now?
Always has been
Gotta be honest i skipped the entire parts forming thing.
Parts forming and foe chests never bothered me personally but that’s just me I can understand why a lot oof people don’t like them though
"Not having to paint in the grey means saving budget"
While I assume on some level you're right, we can clearly see that they had to paint at least two shades of grey into the threads on the clip you're showing.
I mean they didn't need to add extensive cell shading. Didn't explain it very well though
Fairy nuff.
Ah good ol Filss, or should I say Sheila...
Loved the cameo in the last season of the Chorus saga. That was the last season of RVB I watched actually.
Kingdom class is one tiny deluxe.
9:31 which warpath toy is this?🤔
Iron factory burning slug
@@DrLockdown thx doc
Wait a minute ss warpath might come out right??
Prolly not. Was never in any of the movies. I'd love them to tackle the game and movie toy characters, but nope; apparently G1 gets first billing again.
Ok but the shield ends up looking like a zaku shield so I can forgive it.
Love me some zeon mobile suits. Honestly prefer the aesthetic to the federation
I don't love faux parts but, if they don't interfere with the alt/bot mode, I'll take that over parts forming ANY DAY
Yeah same here.
If generations warpath had a better head it’d be much better
I think the big reason people hate H tanks is because they never saw actual combat use. The only real life H tank was made by the Germans in ww2 and was mostly relegated to propaganda films (it’s size helped with that) in actual combat most H tanks would probably not work too well due to the nature of the design
I think it's also the idea that more often than not it's 'a robot lying down'
The old warpath = warpath on roids after Grimlock trained him how to kill better.
Since I have zero attachment to G1 I can say with clearer vision that Kingdom just looks silly much prefer 2010
Isn't the point of Kingdom is the G1 look and feel, So if your going to compare Compare it to the G1. 2010 version isn't even close to the G1 Warpath.
Scalpers are going crazy with this line. it's even worse than Kingdom.
@@DrLockdown hell the only reason I was able to have the Earthrise Soundwave is because of a friend trading it to me for movies he wanted
@@soundwavegamer2321 Same. Completely scalped Sydney-wide. I had to have mine posted interstate from a mate.

BAM!!KAPOW! BLAMO!
Wow
To be honest i like "H" tanks, i think it will be more mobile and manouver better
Universe Warpath instantly wins, because Kingdom Warpath is a partsformer.
14:49 more like diling it up to twelve
If it weren't for the borderline goofy chest, QC issues up the wazoo concerning the tank mode, and plain (and rather boring) paint job I'd probably be head-over-heels for Kingdom Warpath.
I kinda like that goofiness
@@DrLockdown if I'm being completely honest this might just be one of those figures that take a while for me to like them
I held the Kingdom one at a friends house and I hate it.
@@DrLockdown Oh no. I have to buy another Michael Bay studio series figure... Oh well puttin him in the cart for pre order!
Not out yet. Only leaked :p
@@DrLockdown oh boy
Why doesn’t a toy of Animated Warpath exist?
Season 4 cancellation probably
If you put 2010 warpath with hunt for the decepticons seaspray together yow will say they both are no longer minibots
What about Universe Powerglide!? That sucker is a monster!
@@RPO808 I'd love to think that when the Decepticons expect minibots but then big tanks of nature composing of generations warpath, universe powerglide, hftd seaspray, energon beachcomber, cloud brawn, tfp cliffjumper, roft gears, pcc huffer in full combined form and gdo wheelie,
@@charperalta9489 🤣🤣🤣
i'm one of the unlucky ones where the parts forming is required to keep the alt mode together for me it just seems like hasbro was too lazy to fix the QC issues and instead wasted an accessory spot for a fucking panel meant to fix an issue they were too lazy to just fix with better quality well everything instead we get a stupid panel that is too small to even be a shield like seriously if the figure itself wasn't actually decent i'd say its the WFC version of ss tf2 soundwave also jesus generations warpath looks shockingly similar to a scorpion from halo
This guy really like to show off his stutters.
I gotta say generations warpath looks buff and tall but the kingdom one is more accurate to G1
I think the proportions fit Warpath better. You would expect a character that transforms into a tank to be buff.
They're both buff. One is tall heroic buff, the other is short stocky buff.
I love the video style, and the jokes were good, but got to disagree. Earthrise Warpath is not as fun to transform at all! The legs are OK, but the rest feels ehh. 2010 version all the way (also, have to say, I love it ahead design, so maybe just difference of opinion).
Guess everyone's going to have their preferences. I'm glad people have options for different flavours of blamo man these days
@@DrLockdown glad we can agree to disagree. Still, good video: subscribed 👍
Also a little thin in the build quality here and there, tisk tisk.
nah, 2010 takes the win. cleaner transformation, cleaner vehicle mode, better callbacks, better proportions....it's all better.
😑
