I tried using an iPhone for around 2 months, but I couldn't get used to it. And it was a terrible experience. The system is too unfriendly and stupid sometimes. Therefore, I switched back to Samsung.
I bought 15 Pro Max 3 months ago after using android phones for 15 years and idk if I'll ever go back. The only thing that I don't really like is the missing back navigation button but it's not a dealbreaker for me. I waited for iOS 18 because now I can do almost everything that I was doing on the android.. I have all modded ipas in one place and they're getting updated daily so it's even better than those modded apks on android (they also work much better). That was the main thing why I didn't want to switch until now. App optimisation is on another level, for example If I record a video and upload it to instagram, it just looks amazing and it's also uploaded in 60fps and not 30 like on android phones, iPhones also have the best video quality.. Animations are also on another level and there is just too many things better than on android.. On the other hand, the things that are missing here are not really a dealbreaker for me.
@@Cptblogh There are ways you can get them for free but I didn't want to mess with it so I bought a certificate from iOSRocket. There is many options you can choose from but once you get the repositories you can bought the cheaper option next year. That one costs like 11 dollars per year I think. You also get an insurance with that. You'll install a library and import the repositories there and you'll get access to many apps and some of them are even updated daily. You can also use other repositories which you can probably find online for free.
@@igi_igi Tbh I don't remember all of them but they were all mid-range phones. I think the first one was Samsung Core 2 Duo, then xiaomi Redmi Note 4, OnePlus nord, Nothing Phone 1 and the last one was Nothing Phone 2. You don't have to tell me that if I compared the flagship iPhone to a flagship Android phone the experience would be better. I'm a big tech enthusiast and I know every spec about almost every phone that exists and I watch videos about new hw like every day. I know for sure I wouldn't buy a flagship samsung phone because I just don't like the UI at all. Pixel phone would be a great alternative but it also has it's all disadvantages.. iPhone imo is the best allaround package with the best app optimisation, animations, security, video quality and other things but it also has it's own disadvantages but they aren't really an issue for me. I used to hate iPhones and I never thought I'll buy one but with the help of EU and now the release of iOS 18 I think that apple is going a right direction and I can already do almost everything I need from phone.
I switched to iPhone about a week ago, there definitely are a bunch of very annoying things that simply aren't issues on Android, but so far I've been able to tolerate them. I will say that navigating on Android is much easier, and Android notifications are infinitely better than the disaster that is iOS notifications

@@Hayden_Ha but what benefit do basic users get out of not having a universal back gesture/button? for basic users that seems like even more of a problem, compared to the advanced phone users who spend so much time on their phone they get the muscle memory for which app used what way to go back

That was a nice, well-presented summation of some of the more baffling features of iOS; things like the lack of universal back button/gesture, lack of 'close all' for open apps and being forced to hit a tiny 'select' button before you can select photos/vids seem to have been done only to differentiate iOS from Android, even if it means creating a less user-friendly interface. I too studied HCI as part of my Information Technology postgraduate degree and find it bizarre that a company the size of Apple is seemingly willfully ignoring established HCI principles in its iOS, presumably out of arrogance since they know people are buying their phones anyway. Unfortunately, I am one of those people; I've always preferred Android phones but my preference for small phones outweighed that and made me get an iPhone mini, which I love for its size but hate for iOS. Since Apple stopped the mini line, I'm probably going back to Android for my next phone.
I have been switching between iphone and android since 2008. (based on my financial situation). I remembed times when iOS was actually much better than android. Now I am using iphone 15 and I am pretty sure this is my last iphone in a while. Android improves so much during the years
thanks for calling it out. I switched from android to iphone 16 and while I appreciate the build quality, camera quality and the integration like airdrop, the ios is the most user unfriendly OS ever built. Even using whatsapp doesn;t feel seamless. Plus you can't select photos from the cloud app. WTF. Not to forget that there are no notification categories on ios, either you completely turn them off or recieve even marketing notfications.

Spot on. I'm actually willing to try IOS and generally love the design and other elements but the lack of a universal back navigation is a huge deterrent
Also, with the back button thing, sometimes if you accidentally click on an Ad, you can't swipe it to stop like on Android, you have to wait for it to load, then it provides you with an X, conviniently placed top left corner to go back
This option doesn't even work on all Androids and it doesn't work on every app. I use both iOS and Android and this was something I was looking forward when switching to S24 just to see that is doesn't work on App I need it to work. Complete bullshit statement
You're the only 2nd person I watched on youtube that mentioned about a user experience esp. on the gesture navigation. Using ios on that is sucks. I used android phone before switching to Ip14pro. Now I can't use gesture navigation without using my two hands😡. It might not be a big deal for some but when you used yr phone for hours..you will miss the android version of it. Trust me.
Re: the camera app. You don't want a bunch of settings in the camera app. As an HID designer you should know this. Most people don't know an F-stop from a stop sign, they just want a point and shoot experience that does the right thing 99.5% of the time, which is what the stock camera app gives them. Google understands this too. For the people that would have bought an SLR/DSLR instead of a point and shoot there are third party apps that expose the advanced settings. Apple sells 200 million iPhones a year, they need to design for your grandmother in addition to you. Also, there's no close all button because you're not supposed to close all. The OS will manage memory better than you will, and completely closing and reopening your apps uses more battery than letting the OS sleep them as required. People wonder how iPhones manage such good battery life with objectively smaller batteries and this is one of many small optimizations. Open a hardware monitoring app and you'll see all your RAM is in use but the phone is still responsive. iOS preloads/retains your apps and libraries based on your use patterns. The only time you should need to force close an app is if it's misbehaving. Let the OS do its job...it's not Android so leave those habits behind. Your issues with dismissing notifications and control centre is just lack of familiarity. There's no "cognitive load" problem...on iOS a flick up from the bottom dismisses whatever app you're in, NO MATTER where you are in the OS. Doesn't matter if it's an app, folder, lock screen, control centre, notifications pane...it's ultra consistent. You'll get used to it. Also, you can't call the notifications from pulling down anywhere like on Android because that invokes system wide search on iOS. It's not that they haven't thought of the gesture, it's already being used. I do agree that the lack of universal back gestures is annoying but most of this video is griping because it's not what you're used to. I'm not sure how you missed the Files app for saving your documents to but I would encourage you to keep poking around on iOS as it seems you've missed quite a few features.
Close all button for apps is needed. I've had my phone slow down from having so many open.. sometimes I've got an app I've not used for a week in the background but i may have 20 other unused apps open so I need to swipe one by one .
@@ji8651 No it's not needed. Just because the card is there doesn't mean the app is open. Especially if the last time you used the app was a week ago. For apps that ARE still in memory, you're working against the way the OS was designed to work. The developer documentation is free to read for yourself. When you dismiss an app, it saves a picture of the state of the app for the multitasking view. If the app gets closed because the phone needs the memory, that image is still there and when you re-open it one of two things will happen. Either the app is something like Safari and it will just reload the web page or if the state of the app is important, the app will reload the state from disk and resume from there. In both cases the state of the app is not a concern for the user or apparent in the card - they both look the same whether the app is running or not. Managing memory is the job of the OS and the developer, not the user. In the UI, you can't even tell what is actually a running app and what's just a card of what the app looked like last time you ran it - because you're not supposed to worry about it. Let the OS do its job.
I was so let down by ios when I got the ipad pro. It feels inferior to android in a lot of ways and the battery is worse than what it was on my old retina ipad. The lack of swipe to go back in ios is honestly a deal breaker, I am 10 times faster on android doing pretty much anything with moving my fingers a lot less. My friend has an iphone ultra an I cringe everytime I see him use it because he either constantly shifts the phone in his hand or has to use two hands.

For me the lack of a universal back gesture and the need to reach the upper corner of the screen to expand the control panel are terribly irritating... Maybe iOS 20 will handle these useful details.
Pixel is the way for simplicity. While I do agree as a mac user and iphone user that it is a nightmare to use, Samsung S24, which I currenly own, is also a nightmare to use with OneUI 6. And you also need to download extra apps from the galaxy store in order to get basic settings. Which is basically stupid. Thanks for the video. Note about Apple fan base defending it: I started using Mac last year from work and suffered greatly with stupid choices and idiotically designed things that absolutely does not make sense. Going online here or on Reddit I found myself attacked each time that it was me, that was not finding the greatness by using 4 buttons to make a screenshot, or how you have no way to make windows not randomized every time you swipe up. I understand why though; If I have paid $3000 myself on my mac, I'd be pissed off too that I got ripped off by this horrible machine software. But I did not, so I was completely bias free regarding it. So whoever you are - macos and ios is a stupid, total mess, it is not you.

@@maxmohawke I love your pfp. I have quite a lot quirks and bugs which not unique to me or my phone since my first phone, which had a factory defect camera, had the same issues until it got replaced. Friends also. Reddit posts also. Must be a one ui 6 issues. 1. Sometimes when I open the phone, it starts on the phone app. No, I did not touch it before, closed it like that, or had the side button on the lock screen touched. I rarely call people at all. 2. Conversations does not open on last recent message, but somewhere up top, then you need to scroll down. It is like this on every third party app, including the sms app itself. 3. Bluetooth sometimes work perfectly. Sometimes it connects but no sound. Sometimes it does not connect but device is found on the list. Sometimes it does not even find anything. Restart the phone sometimes help, sometimes not. Very unclear. You can leave it like that after it did not even find anything, return after few minutes, everything works flawlessly. You know when it gave me hell? On a few fn recent flights to Germany. Android auto on a Porsche I had with me in that time was at times perfect, and most of the time hellish. It was so annoying because I had night drives for hours and I needed every last bit of my playlist. 4. There are many apps on the galaxy store (Can't remember because I deleted them in protest) that you need to install to allow you control in many basic stuff like the camera and sound, which should be there in the first place. You may install them and say "Dang, this should have been there without me going to another app store, downloading, and start tinkering with it". If you come from a Samsung, everything is in its place - sure. But coming from another system, it is not intuitive in some areas. And I speak as a backend software engineer with many many years of writing code and also designing front end that will be much more intuitive to the user. It annoys me since I know both ways of these issues, and how easy it could be for them to solve said issues. 5. Camera quality is just a big shame in the long history of Samsung, which they made us all wait 7 months for the update, which fixed absolutely nothing, pictures in a very good lit environment are still grainy and can get blurry. If you have a pet, like me, and you take a lot of images of her, it is a total nightmare. If you have tiny family members it is also a huge miss. This is Pixel only territory nowadays. 6. Finger print sensor is also, hit or miss. Not as near accurate as my previous pixel 4a and 5. They just WORKED. and FAST. Gestures also, not always work like your hand meant. 7. From time to time, rarely, but still happens, Alarm sound goes very low. I wake up late on those days. No one is pranking me since I live alone. 8. Screen is very bright, but sometimes it stops being that bright. You don't notice indoors, but once you go out. I then restart the phone outside and the screen comes back being bright as before. I can go on but on my pixels it had never stopped working. Everything worked flawlessly. No restarts, no weird quirks. The phones are up and running for years even near me now, still no sign of slowing down, other than the batteries, sadly, not as they were. This is not relating to a processor (I know some people will tell me on the comments its because of the processor for some idiot reasoning) as I got the SD and two of my friends have the exynos, we all bought from different places and times, and every one of us has these issues from time to time. Not acceptable on a $1000 flagship.
Iphone UX is trash. People think UX is only animations. Even the volume buttons on the left side like wtf (very few people are left handed in the world) even when when trying to change volumes or turn off the screen i have to finger gymnastics just to avoid always taking a screenshot On android as well when adjusting brightness, the quick toggles disappear and you are left with just the screen. On ios doing the same thing, there is blur covering up the entire screen The photos app is the only app in the whole of ios that is bottom up (newest at the bottom, oldest at the top). Lets not talk about the redesign for now lol Also there's a redundant music player always available in the control centre even when no music is playing. I agree with most of your points, but i found the switch from Android to 15PM not that hard. The most annoying thing for me is the lack of a permanent number row on the keyboard.
@@GAMERGEBITER My daugther recently bought an iPhone 15 (came from a Galaxy A52s) and so far Switftkey has been of her taste to keep the number rows. What exactly are you missing from Swiftkey? Honest question. Compared to stock Apple keyboard, ofc.
Agreed at all cost. In the first matter, that when you open utube video in fullscreen, u cannot see the battery, or time even notification easily. I called it stpd phone back when i use ip 15 for 2 months.
I just bought my first iPhone (16 Pro) after my last phones previously been Galaxy S23, S21, S10, S8, S7, S5 and S3. I am indeed struggeling with navigation and hoping it will feel more natural as I use the system more.
It’ll take weeks to get used to. Settings using an iPhone requires more work because most people using iPhones don’t care about settings. Most iPhone users don’t realize nor think about various settings. I’ve noticed this with people in my family that own iPhones.

14 years of using Android and I was scared to change to iOS. I swore I was a Google fanboy but the transition was not hard at all. The things mentioned here definitely need getting used to but it won't cause you to pull your hair out. I got used to the system in a week. Some things are easier on the iOS too which are mentioned by other reviewers. However, the only thing I hate about iOS is the keyboard. There's no tap-to-place-cursor like we have on Android. At the end of the day, I won't say one is better than the other. Both are good in their own ways and I enjoy using both iOS and Android side-by-side. Nonetheless, the keyboard MUST CHANGE. Moving away from the system, we have to talk about the iCloud. If you delete the photos in your phone, it gets deleted on the iCloud too. It's not like Google Photos where we can delete it on the phone once there are uploaded in the cloud. There's a workaround but like everyone says, it's an extra step.
And yet the iPhone gains market share. The same video could also be made on iPhone users switching to Android and there would be valid reasons why some things are better on iPhones. I like your videos because many times you were the only one doing what I was searching for, but this video is nothing new. There’s already tons of videos defending either side.
There are 2 more things worth mentioning: 1. There is no button to reject calls in full screen when someone is calling us. There is only a green button. To reject a call, you have to press the lock key twice 2. When creating an alarm clock on the iPhone, you cannot set your own alarm volume because it is based on the ringtone volume, and let's be honest, most of us have our ringtone set to a high level.
I am a long time android user, last year i decided to get the apple experience with iphone 15 pro max, in my country apple is regarded as a status symbol, and have never experienced iphone made me want to try it OMG, in my opinion iphone experience is trash and totally inferior to Android, horrible UI, everything in the appstore is more expensive, bad browser UI, bad file manager, bad storage management, bad app cache management In 6 month immediately swith back to s24U Never feel better
Hi Bro, I would like to tell you that I am following you from Egypt and I love listening to all your videos, especially the daily life tests that you do. I would like you to please review two devices, Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 FE, because I am very confused between them and both are the same price and I want to know the difference between them in terms of Battery, temperature, performance, gaming, network and antenna, sound, camera
Hey, they are very different devices due to their size. S24 FE is basically S24+ with larger bezels and slightly lower clock rate. Basically this comparison should answer your questions since S24 FE and Plus are very close to each other: th-cam.com/video/Kw48EEkAs7g/w-d-xo.html
@@techmo2020 I Watched this review but I am afraid of the battery life of the S24FE and also the networks and antenna for it and you know that the S24FE is considered an upper mid-range device while the S23 is an old flagship so I was looking for a complete review head to head If you could give me a percentage of the difference between the S24 FE and the S24+, that would be great and would help me a lot in choosing.
There are also some reviews that claim that the S24 FE is better in terms of heat management and stability of performance so What do you think of that?
As someone who used Iphone for 3 years I sold this phone and I didn't like it and 1 week ago I bought S24U and I can say it is much better also the camera. A lot of people complain about the camera but they just don't know how to use it and don't have good settings and generally don't understand anything about photography.Portrait mode is unique 💪
Issue with S24U is that if I want to take food photo, it will always blur the background. It’s ok for small things like a cup of coffee, but if I want to take photo of the hotpot, it will only focus on front half of the pot. There is no way to make the entire photo clear at all.
I have a Mac and MacBook and both work better with the iPhone. Also the battery life of 16 pro max and thermals is some alien level technology. Maybe the new Snapdragon with Oryon core will be able to compete next year though.
People be saying that iphones are user friendly/easier to use but androids are because they usually take less steps to do stuff. But I still want to try the 16 plus. I tried it in stores and it's smooth and I like the design
True. Too many steps. I use both and android is way easier to navigate. Cant deny that the iphones feels premium in the hands. But it's not about that. It lacks everything other than that.
You eventually get used to all of these quirks. I've switched platforms 2 times already, currently on iPhone 13 Pro waiting for S25Ultra to switch back to Samsung. Before that I was on Galaxy S10 and before that I was on iPhone 6s. Once you get used switching to the other platform is "annoying" but you get used in a month or so.
I can't even get about basic navigation on iPhones. It just seems so weird and counter-intuitive, coming from an Android. And I just had Android for 2 years! Never cared for smartphones before that. Apple just makes everything unnecessarily complicated - maybe that's all they have to offer, to make it seem "worth it", struggling on basic operations on a $1000+ phone.
Hey Mo: So you actually wanted to switch to iOS permanently or what? If so: What is the reason for that (other than video quality and battery life concerns)?
Hi, yes I'm trying to do it. Three reasons mainly, the apple LOG is very helpful and with the iPhone I can replace my small Sony camera when I do vlogging. For two, right now it's difficult to transfer files from Galaxy to my MacBook. Also the battery life is bette on iphone 16. But I'm losing my sanity over gestures. I did a similar experience switching from windows to Mac but I got used to it in a week.
@@techmo2020 I don't do any videography but I switched from windows to Mac as well. After a short period it'll be second nature. iOS however is an entirely different beast: my Gf uses iOS and I can't even use it in short bursts to help her out. Make me wanna scream...could be an interesting follow up, just sayin'...
Hmmmnaaahh it’s the same. It’s how you get used to. Like if you’re an android user it’s really hard to get used to especially first timers. You need time to adapt to new OS. Same as iOS to Android.
I tested both the 16 pro max and s24 ultra at the store many days ago and I still think the s24 ultra is way more fun to use like my s23 ultra. The s pen w gestures and sound effects , multi tasking, ring tones music w ease, full AI features in the box ready, open operating system, way better display lightyears ahead corning glass no reflections, good lock, customizable ring tones to songs for free , emulation at a higher level w no limitations, Samsung TV ecosystem etc . I'll wait for the s25 ultra. I think Xiaomi , Huawei, Honor, Google, Red Magic, and Samsung are far ahead in innovation. For me I left Apple years ago because it has too many limitations in comparison. For me I can't live without being able to download anything, edge panel and copy and paste clipboard, stylus support, no foldables etc but some things like imessage and consistent video quality, AI personal voice and iTunes few things here and there are implemented well but android is just more fun for me these days.
2017 tried iphone 7plus from s8 plus. i felt i downgraded my phone. 2019 iphone 11 pro max from note 8. Used it for 1.5 years. Then switched back to android zfold2. Now im using S series again😂. I have every apple product like macbook pro, ipadpro, apple watch and airpods. I love all of them i just cant take iphone. I feel like its very basic as a daily driver.
Instead of giving such pratical reviews everyone else is all about animations. It's good to see Samsung work on that though. iOS is simplify so difficult to use and I laugh when I hear people say it's intuitive
No sound separate system, horrible file managment,no universal back gesture,no clipboard,no split screen,no customizable keyboard photo or galery app is trash and disorganized etc...the list goes on.I don't know how some people claim that ios is more user friendly, more functional and practical than android.Ios is also full of bugs,i have more issue with it than s23 and s24 ultra.I traded my s23 ultra for the 15 pro max but switched back to s24 ultra. To me iphone is just an overhyped product
parece que vc usou android a vida toda e esta usando iphone a primeira vez, é questao de costume, para mim o IOS é muito facil de usar, agora estou no s24 ultra mas ainda prefiro o IOS.
Im done with apple since i realized how much better android is when it comes to be user friendly. What we see with iphones is what happens when you focus on maximizing profits instead of maximizing user experience
Thanks. It baffles me how people can claim iOS is consistent or easy to use, productive - it's absolutely ass-backwards. But human mind is incredible, your average user can convince themselves, after being burned by some $200 knockoff Chinese bottom the barrel Android, that their new shiny $1200 iphone is a second coming of Christ. All the while dismissing top android phones like Pixels. BTW 6:54 Pixel phones do get manual camera controls since like a year ago.
Ahh, I wish I could switch from iPhone to android. It’s so much smarter and more interesting than iOS. But I am stuck in the apple eco system and don’t have my passwords on android, so all my attempts ended up switching back to iOS.
It’s definitely not a nightmare that’s just click bait exaggeration, I switched from android to iPhone in the beginning of 2024 and although I am planning on switching back to android. It definitely was not a nightmare to switch. It just boils down to android being a better OS in my opinion.
Simply, this is not true, it is subjective, I use iPhone years and, use android like second phone, iPhone has better one hand mode, for me is keyboard for tipping better, apps work smoothly on iPhone, iPhone has back tap, what is amazing , native call recording, widgets, lock screen, simply for me user experience going to iPhone.
When you use both phones, then you’ll know how the S24 Ultra is like a pocket-size supercomputer next to the iPhone 16 pro max despite the latter having a more powerful chip overall. It is basically a feature-packed vs featureless…can’t even double-tap anywhere to turn off the screen unless the Assistive Touch Full Moon is activated 😂 You’ve got to be kidding me, Apple…it’s 2024
imo, ios is actually very good IF THE IPHONE IS NOT LARGE LIKE CURRENT MODELS. I genuinely found that Apple getting way awful since the headphone jack removal and also removing the touch id. For some reason, Apple used to do a very excellent job for achieving finest OS (at that time touch ID still a thing, which include SE 2020 too), cuz it's so made sense that everything just in place for navigation imo. But now, I gotta force myself to Android cuz how sucks ios literally is, just a literal night and day feeling. but again, just my imo ✌✌😁😁
For a phone they keep bragging about being basic and just works, it cant even do basic gestures lol the irony, and ofc sheeps will say everything just to not look like they paid more for less haha
The ios animations make sense if you pay attention to where the animation is coming from. The problem with gestures on ios is that the default left edge to the right back gesture is much less ergonomic than swiping from the right side.
Asa software developer, having someone say they are a software developer and not liking iphones tells me ure not a software developer 😂No you must not focus on what you click, you are just slow because ure not actually a tech person that spends time on it daily. For me, on samsung, If i long press a picture to select it, i click like 6 photos a second and it instant unchecks the previous photo because i hit 2 of them too fast. This never happens on iphone, hence why i will always win a select photos race with a Samsung bot. Iphone requires more precise actions but never fails. Samsung doesnt require much but its making sure you do it slow so that you SEE how fast their interface is really. However I DO NOT feel fast. Funny how a software developer complains about "Pls dont make think" xDDDD
Or android is more use friendly. And apple not changing because people like you defending their every move. You are doing basically more step than any cheap chinese phone while paying more, which is sad. User friendly and quick was Steve jobs dream for iphone but Tim Cook distroyed it
@@fighterinmkiwiscience3517 where am I defending every apple move? Few points he made in this video were pure bullshi. I use Android and iOS daily and I do my work a lot faster on iOS because I am used to iOS and my brain and fingers cooperate fast without thinking. That doesn't mean Android is worse, I love Android and I love my Pixel and S24. I am just saying, being used to one system should not be a reason to shit on another system.
@@fighterinmkiwiscience3517 I also have a MacBook but I work way faster on my Windows PC. I grew up with Windows so I do my work 100x faster on PC. That doesn't mean I will shit on Mac, because Mac has a lot of stuff I wish PC had. Both are good.
Switched to an iPhone about 3 weeks ago and can say it’s the best experience I’ve ever had with a phone personally the navigation is simple and easy to learn and understand and it feel like it gives me a more of a variety of controls on iPhone than I did with Samsung just glad to be with apple now
It’s like anything else in life, you try something new your brain 🧠 adjust . Yes, it’s awkward at first , but you will survive. Long time Windows & Android user who transitioned to Apple ecosystem and love macOS & iOS
The fact that Samsung devices have multiple apps like the calculator, calendar, photos, camera, browser, file explorer, etc., drives me crazy. With both Samsung and Google offering these applications, you end up with duplicates. You say Apple iOS is bad, but compared to Android, it's actually quite simple and well-optimized for smartphones. I used a Pixel 4a for three years and a Samsung S22 for work. Now I'm using an iPhone XS that I got from my girlfriend. Even though it's six years old, it's still very usable for everyday tasks because iOS is still updated, unlike my Pixel, which stopped at Android 13.
honestly I don't see the problem of duped apps. You can always unistall or, for those system apps, at least "disable" them: They totally disappear, beside probably occupying a tiny fraction of the storage. Also it'd be the same for iPhone if, for instance, one would like to use e.g. his gmail account in iphone. Push notification aren't available on Apple mail app for gmail accounts, so you''ll have to resort in GMail app, then BOOM, duped apps also on iphone, no? Also, Gallery app for Samsung is extraordinary, because it offers everything (especially AI features for flagship devices) for locally stored photos, whereas Google Photo app requires you to upload those photos in their cloud to have those features available. And Google know$ you need a lot of cloud $torage for that..
My family is trying tp pressure me into getting an iphone again, NO WAY. Also, my boyfriend switched to an iphone and is trying to convince me, but I know he wishes he hadn't switched. His daughter has to show him how to use it. LOL😂
I'm so glad that finally someone mentioned the terrible back navigation on iphones.
💯

ikr. i can't think of using anything apart from the pull gestures.
@@belec5964where do you get your modded ipas? And how do you update them? I have 15 pro max and haven't figured it out where to do it reliably
@belec5964 What android devices have you used?

I just use the phone how I would normally do on each platform. At the end of day, stick to what you like instead of care for what other think or like. Don't switch to something you know it doesn't have what you want for years already and whining about it then make video I switch to this and that... to get view. I just watch for entertaining but won't subscribe for channels doing so.
Using both iOS and Android everyda, Android is just easier to handle for me because of :
1️⃣Navigation Gestures from Left to Right AND from Right to Left
2️⃣Keyboard with numbers row key on top
3️⃣Multitasking with Split View and floating Windows
4️⃣Easy Link to Windows 💻
5️⃣Android clipboard
6️⃣Using 2 instances of the same app with 2 different account : Pro and Personal thanks to Cloned apps
7️⃣File management system: massively better on Android, easy to handle
8️⃣Notifications

This video properly explained why i always switch back to android i just can't stand this annoying problems.
@belec5964 Seems like you've no idea what he meant by notification categories.

My opinion is that most iPhone users don’t go into settings because they are not aware of them. I’ve observed this with most people that own iPhones.
Spot on. I'm actually willing to try IOS and generally love the design and other elements but the lack of a universal back navigation is a huge deterrent
It's not that bad.. First time I used it it took me some time and I was a bit pissed but after 3 months with iPhone I almost forgot about it..
Some apps you have to force close because it is impossible to go back
I totally understand. Don't force you to switch. Keep your money
Also, with the back button thing, sometimes if you accidentally click on an Ad, you can't swipe it to stop like on Android, you have to wait for it to load, then it provides you with an X, conviniently placed top left corner to go back
There should be more people talking about this
This option doesn't even work on all Androids and it doesn't work on every app. I use both iOS and Android and this was something I was looking forward when switching to S24 just to see that is doesn't work on App I need it to work. Complete bullshit statement
These videos are needed on TH-cam but youtubers rarely do them..

These kind of insights and comparisons is what we need and crave. Keep it up! +1

Even the volume buttons on the left side like wtf (very few people are left handed in the world) even when when trying to change volumes or turn off the screen i have to finger gymnastics just to avoid always taking a screenshot
On android as well when adjusting brightness, the quick toggles disappear and you are left with just the screen. On ios doing the same thing, there is blur covering up the entire screen
The photos app is the only app in the whole of ios that is bottom up (newest at the bottom, oldest at the top). Lets not talk about the redesign for now lol
Also there's a redundant music player always available in the control centre even when no music is playing. Meanwhile a music player appears in the notification centre when music is playing
Aside this iPhones will still be the best seller because apple sells a lifestyle not features
I agree with most of your points, but i found the switch from Android to 15PM not that hard. The most annoying thing for me is the lack of a permanent number row on the keyboard.
Swiftkey keyboard and you get that number rows once again. Strangely enough Gboard for iphones still lack it..
@@TheMacco26 I don't like Switfkey, tested it already. And yeah, Gboard for iOS is nothing compared to the OG Android version 😅
I called it stpd phone back when i use ip 15 for 2 months.
are you using a FX3 for your video recording? good choice!
Thanks mate, it's FX30, don't have the budget to go FF yet, but I'm loving it :)
Can you compare Honor 200 Pro vs Samsung S24 FE ? Which one do you think is better ? Camera quality ,battery etc.
I’ve noticed this with people in my family that own iPhones.
im curious how 's ur experience so far i want to buy my first ever iphone the 16 pro
@@YAZIDLEMRABETbeen using it daily, its a great phone (what you should expect from sucha price tag) but it does most things great. Ive gotten better at navigation but still feel a bit clunky compared to having designated back button like the S23 I previously had, its also heavy to hold - but battery is great and the Phone is beautiful to look at and use
You will stay the course
You just managed to put into words all of the issues i had every times i use iOS. Well done! Glad to hear it's not just my biad, but actual stupid iOS things.

There are 2 more things worth mentioning:
1. There is no button to reject calls in full screen when someone is calling us. There is only a green button. To reject a call, you have to press the lock key twice
2. When creating an alarm clock on the iPhone, you cannot set your own alarm volume because it is based on the ringtone volume, and let's be honest, most of us have our ringtone set to a high level.
Loved your work❤❤❤❤
What a ridiculous OS 😂 using an iPad for a couple of years has healed me from the thought of trying an iPhone !
I am a long time android user, last year i decided to get the apple experience with iphone 15 pro max,
in my country apple is regarded as a status symbol, and have never experienced iphone made me want to try it
OMG, in my opinion iphone experience is trash and totally inferior to Android, horrible UI, everything in the appstore is more expensive, bad browser UI, bad file manager, bad storage management, bad app cache management
In 6 month immediately swith back to s24U
Never feel better
This video is spot on!
Basically this comparison should answer your questions since S24 FE and Plus are very close to each other:
th-cam.com/video/Kw48EEkAs7g/w-d-xo.html
@@techmo2020 I Watched this review but I am afraid of the battery life of the S24FE and also the networks and antenna for it and you know that the S24FE is considered an upper mid-range device while the S23 is an old flagship so I was looking for a complete review head to head If you could give me a percentage of the difference between the S24 FE and the S24+, that would be great and would help me a lot in choosing.
@@zae1l an educated guess is s24 FE has 5-10 percent less battery and 5 percent less performance than plus
There are also some reviews that claim that the S24 FE is better in terms of heat management and stability of performance so What do you think of that?
@@zae1l it is better I also noticed it. Probably due to lower clock rate. But honestly it is more important if u prefer smaller size or larger.
Thank you for making this video. You got me seriously reconsidering switching my next phone from Android to iPhone.
It would also be interesting to know why you would like to switch.
I have a Mac and MacBook and both work better with the iPhone. Also the battery life of 16 pro max and thermals is some alien level technology. Maybe the new Snapdragon with Oryon core will be able to compete next year though.
@@techmo2020Why dont you have a normal laptop and tablet?
@techmo2020 gotcha, it is a pretty common path. Do you actually have a bad time making Galaxys and Mac to communicate?
The best video from u so far
Despite all these insufferable problems, people still buy the Iphone, weird.
IOS looks like a school project.. nothing consistent 😂
Its been 5-6years now in witch each year I try to convince myself to go with apple for the battery and smooth animations. Still no success in that...
Bro you have enabled Do not disturb mode, thats why when you try to increase the 2 volumes it wont work.
If I want to set a wallpaper I have to go to the Lock Screen what way not form the gallery app 🤷🏾
To make them feel better bec they know they paid more for a phone that does less
Great! If it was not for iMessage and FaceTime, I would have switched to Android long back. I am in USA though!
😁 I used to suffer in TH-cam. The way to go back would always get me.
Why are my comments getting removed? You don't like someone speaking good about iPhones?
I don't delete comments, TH-cam delete the comments automatically sometimes when you use certain words or argue in a wrong tone.
@@techmo2020 okay, sorry about that.. It never happened to me and I didn’t even say anything bad so that’s why I’m confused 😂
@@belec5964 TH-cam is very extreme with deleting, I never understood how it works honestly
@@belec5964it has happened to me in some random videos. If you pit links of use - to list sentences.
To additional failures on iOS are the lack of split screen and no clipboard.
Ahh, I wish I could switch from iPhone to android. It’s so much smarter and more interesting than iOS. But I am stuck in the apple eco system and don’t have my passwords on android, so all my attempts ended up switching back to iOS.
You are spot on
It’s definitely not a nightmare that’s just click bait exaggeration, I switched from android to iPhone in the beginning of 2024 and although I am planning on switching back to android.
I dont your motives, but i d wait for sdg x elite
I only use samsung gestures , its next level easy
When you use both phones, then you’ll know how the S24 Ultra is like a pocket-size supercomputer next to the iPhone 16 pro max despite the latter having a more powerful chip overall. It is basically a feature-packed vs featureless…can’t even double-tap anywhere to turn off the screen unless the Assistive Touch Full Moon is activated 😂 You’ve got to be kidding me, Apple…it’s 2024
I am thinking about switching the other way around.
Wait for S25 if u wanna try Samsung IMHO
@@techmo2020 I already did. Since TH Roh overtook, Samsung is going down and I see Samsung as inferior as iPhone.
@@Patrikch100good move!
imo, ios is actually very good IF THE IPHONE IS NOT LARGE LIKE CURRENT MODELS.
Me going back and forth to both OS but i have 13 right now
That explain why im so clueless on my friends iPhone lol
Did you know that you can only create 3 Apple IDs for one phone or tablet per year?... I'm not kidding...
This video is a gem Lmao, you gained a sub buddy.
For a phone they keep bragging about being basic and just works, it cant even do basic gestures lol the irony, and ofc sheeps will say everything just to not look like they paid more for less haha
The ios animations make sense if you pay attention to where the animation is coming from.
The problem with gestures on ios is that the default left edge to the right back gesture is much less ergonomic than swiping from the right side.
iOS is like built for left handed ppl :(
For many people (mainly Americans) iMessage and Facetime are the only things holding them to Apple.
This whole video should be titled "Me Not Understanding How iOS Works For 9 Minutes Straight"
That is just how iPhone works. Simple.
Recensione perfetta
