As an Android hard fan who owns a pixel. The only thing I like about iphones is the video and their materials. Recording video on an iphone is amazing, zoom doesn't mess up the colors or get those snappy cuts when switching lenses or zooming in/out

I was rocking a iphone 12. I had an upgrade so I went to the store to check out the new Iphone 16 pro max. It looked the same as my Iphone 12 , besides just being bigger and having a few new features that I didn't care about. So, I went with a Samsung S24 Ultra. I love this phone. I'm so glad I got it.
Never used an iPhone, but I will say I love the screens, the simplicity and neatness. Last apple products I used was an IPod and IPad back in 2011 or 12. I only used them for communication 😅 I can't really see myself switching, however, I wouldn't mind having both IOS and Android just for sh*ts and giggles

I was a hardcore apple fan during the iPhone 4-5 era, and the I switched to andriod out of boredom, loved it very much for a couple of years with the samsung galaxy s7 through galaxy s10+, but then again I switched back to iPhone, I literally can’t even imagine myself switching back to andriod again 😂

Android user for the past 7 years here. Always had a great experience with mid high devices, my last one was a Redmi Note 10 Pro that was already at 3,5 years of use. I started looking for something else when the battery and processing started to give in. Made the plunge and am using the 16 Pro Max now. I can say there are a lot of things that Apple manages to do with little to no effort, that really smoothes the experience. I'm enjoying the switch but I can only say it took for me to get the best apple has to offer hardware wise to convince me to jump the fence. There is 1 clear thing I think Apple does excel over the rest and it is the video camera and shared content, it's just much better. Can't wait for January to see the latest Samsung has to offer, great vid thanks for sharing your experience!!!

I just tried to simulate how it feels to side scroll if I had a button on that place and yeah it makes sense but even then power button is better for scroll/doomscroll. That button placement is very low , high chance of drop phone . That's one more idea to hook people into social media but a clever one , might try one for GSM arena and Pexels , if a customizable power button with fingerprint scanner/touch sense comes.
This past week I exchanged my 2 phones (iPhone XS and iPhone 7) to a 16 Pro and an S24. I was hesitant to change one of the iPhones to an Android but nevertheless I did it. Anyway, everything you explained about the iPhone I could tell Android was too the same ordeal. Notifications were the same, the complexity of using an Android didn't change (you got 2 apps of everything 2 email clients, 2 photo galleries, ... etc), the wording on the menus are still truncated and you have to figure out what it is about, sending a file wirelessly to a computer is even worse...either PC or Mac you have to use a third party app or service (except a Surface device- mind you I haven`t tested), My conclusion is that they are just different and there might be a small intersection between both. Choose your poison.

I feel like it would've been great if it was just longer and placed where the volume buttons are, and you slid up/down to change volume on top of the camera controls, some that already exist for the volume buttons.
What I think will happen is that phones manufacturers will probably skip a year or two before releasing a new phone , I guess that is why they are also increasing the years of software support.
Just traded in my S24 ultra for the 16 Pro Max and I’m loving it so far. The last iPhone I had was the iPhone 8 and so much has been adapted from android to iPhone since then. I think the biggest reason for me switching is the social dynamic and just getting bored of samsung.

Imagine u need to scroll a list and calculate the amount on the list at the same time. Being able to simultaneously see the apps on the same screen is way more convenient, and I wouldn't lose track of the numbers.
I had many pixel phones and Samsung too and I just moved to the iPhone 16 Pro. I really love iOS. It’s very fun to use and everything it does, It does it better than android. You know it’s gonna work. Some features are missing, but these are features I didn’t use a lot.

I'm curious about some basic things regarding Android to iPhone migration. How big is the call history on iOS? Are call labels from Galaxy copied to iPhone on migration (I mean a call history where we added a label, let's say a name or note without creating actual contact in phones/sim/gmail account memory). Is list of blocked numbers migrated? Is "star" metadata (Samsung Messages) for messages respected during migration? Is anyone able to tell?

When you customised the icon you can keep the screen light if you press the , that brightness button in the customisation menu.the top left.

since I'm a businessman,I use it many times a day.. Especially the calculator..
