OMG, I've been trying to figure this out with my boxes, Cricut couldn't give me a straight answer. Thank you SOOO much!

Great tips! I’m going to go back to an envelope I created in Illustrator my Cricut and make my fold lines into compound lines. It was never cutting quite the way I expected. Thank you for sharing!❤

Surely your rectangle needs to be 10 inches by 7 inches as it will be folded to 5" x 7"?

Thank you, Sarah, for such a clear tutorial! It is really easy to follow. I subscribed to your tutorials, bc I think I can learn so much from you!
You mentioned lines which appear as double lines in DS. It happens to me when I create the lines for a jigsaw puzzle to cut on a picture: all my lines are cut double and it is annoying! So, I understand the solution is no stroke for the lines?

This is almost perfect for what I’m trying to do! Does this process work in photoshop as well?

I just found you and subbed! Great tutorial!! I have a question. I have silhouette business. I am now trying to get into creating my own SVG files. I have been searching for days on how to create a file using a shape. I keep getting 3d cubes and such. Example: I want to make a STAR SHAPED box to cut out in my Cameo. What wording do I type in youtube to get that tutorial? I hope i am explaining this correctly. Thanks I advance for your response!!
