I know it's an old video, but when checking your oil on your dipstick, turn the car on, let it idle for about 15-20 seconds so it goes into the oil filter and into the pickup tube, turn the car off, and check the oil, if it's coming out low, open the oil fill cap and check it again, if it's still low, add more oil, if it's normal, it's fine.
