The reason it takes batteries on the Xbox controller is you can replace batteries with rechargeable batteries if you want that but when they break the controller isn’t useless and you could use aa if you don’t mind doing so
I still use the wii u pro controller as my pc controller with an 8bit do adapter. Its fantastic. Feels great in the hands and hasn't worn out even with many years of use. I also really liked the big wii u controller with the screen. It was like the beta version of the switch but built sturdier and the joysticks didn't have a drift problem.

Giving my cents here: Gamecube controller FEELS GREAT, but it looks off and i think it hurt the Gamecube sales (same for N64), people instantly judged that controller as unfit and wonky because of it's design, they weren't tempted to give it a try. Kinect is a great controller, it just lacked the investment from Microsoft's part, it deserved a higher ranking. Playstation definitely cut ways by pretty much keeping the same controller FOR 4 GENS, there are very minimal differents between the Dual Shocks and their initial PsOne controller isn't much different either other than the vibrations and analog sticks of the Dual Shocks. I agree full heartedly with your assessment and ranking. Xbox 360 controller is perhaps the most influential console controller of the last 20 years, every conventional gaming controller since was influenced by it, that's how impactful it is. I also think it's another missed opportunity by Microsoft because they really dropped the ball, they should have kept the basics of it and updated it, also why the heck did they move the Big X/Home button upwards and made it white? They have no sense of style and gaming. Dual Sense is amazing, deserved ranking, i just hope more games make use of all it's qualities, we don't want another Kinect story. You deserve a subscription just based on your boldness to put the Switch Joycons on the trash tier because they really are. The concept is cool, but they're cheaply made, the analog sticks look like they're going to pop off on any second. The Switch as a console is great, but the JoyCons deserved a better treatment by Nintendo, they're expensive to buy, but are cheaply made.
