Recent releases and absolute classics on Vinyl, CD and Cassette all feature in today's collection update video. Cheers for watching as always #vinylcommunity #musiccommunity #mrboulder
Some absolute classics added to the collection here James! Your cassette tape collection is growing pretty swiftly by the looks of it too! The new ‘Autopsy’ album is superb isn’t it… I’ve been spinning that one avidly!🤘🏻
Very happy to add these classics to the cassette collection, gotta love having a classic on all 3 formats. New Autopsy is very good, wish I'd grabbed it on vinyl now. Thanks Marc, I hope you're keeping well mate
Agree with Blaze era Maiden love it too. Also the first 3 BLAZE cds are really good. Just yesterday i played BLOOD&BELIEVE from 2004. Super album.. Nice video, nice stuff.
I have a 1999 Century Media records reissue on CD of Bonded By Blood. It has the same original artwork on the front and same band photo layout on the back. Very happy to have that in my collection
Excellent collection update James! Amazing cassette pick ups. Never understood the hate/dislike towards 'Virtual XI' & 'The X Factor', to me they are both superb records. I never had a problem with Blaze's vocals, he rules 🤘
Fantastic update there James. Nice to see you pick up Tailgunner, definitely a band to keep tabs on, a very strong debuit from them. Nice haul of Metallica and Maiden tapes. Cool you got the Blaze era, VXI is very hard to find and not for a ridiculous price. Good find with the Hydra Vein and Exodus. Enjoy spinning.
Really enjoyed that Tailgunner debut mate, I think it was your channel i first saw it on. Very happy to get Virtual XI on cassette mate, like you say it's not easy to find. Cheers Grant
Some classic metal in this update Mr B. Nice to see those Tallica & Maiden cassettes. I still need to listen to that Prong album, seen it mentioned a lot 🤘
Nice update James! Cool to see some new albums, I've gotta check out that Prong and Creeping Death. Never heard of that Tailgunner, sounds cool. Some great cassette pickups, first 4 Metallica are untouchable! Somewhere in time is an amazing album. Still need to check out the Blaze Maiden albums! Severed survival I need to listen to again, I liked some of it but Autopsy are hit and miss with me. Bonded by Blood might be my favourite Exodus album, it's fantastic!! 😁🤘🏻🤘🏻
I think that Prong would be right up your street mate, and I think you would like Creeping Death too. Really happy to get those Maiden and Metallica tapes too. Cheers Josh
@@mrboulder9714 Nice, yeah I think I would really enjoy the new Prong, I must check them out in general. And Creeping Death, I've seen them about a lot, never listened to them. Nice one that's awesome man, you have them on 3 formats now I guess! You're welcome mate 😊🤘🏻
Hi James!!! Cool music update..... loved to see you getting all those awesome cassettes killer Maiden and Metallica's additions to the collection. Nice surprise to see Dokken's latest studio album, had great reviews and seein it on many YT channels. Hydra Vein killer album with a terrible artwork. Glad to see you grabbed first Exodus studio album. cheers and be well
Great little update, dude! I've heard loads about Horrendous recently, but not got round to checking them out yet. Same with Tailgunner. Iron Maiden worship, by any chance? 😜 Nice to see all the stone-cold thrash classics from Metallica on cassette, as well as the classic Maiden cassettes! Gotta be honest, though, the only Blaze-era Maiden songs I really like are The Clansman and The Sign of the Cross. Maybe I should revisit those 2 albums, though. Creeping Death and Crypta are both great bands, and that Hydra Vein album cover always makes me chuckle! Brilliant. So brilliant I think I need it, even though I've never heard it! 😂 Cheers! 🤘
Agreed Andy. Just like with vinyl, some of the prices on cassettes now are absolutely ridiculous. Will the bubble ever burst? I'm beginning to wonder if it will. Cheers mate 👍
You went in big this update mate on those tapes. Never even seen them Blaze ones tape before. That Exodus is second press I just snagged one myself for £20 which I thought was a decent price.
Yeah those Blaze era tapes are not easy to come by so I'm really happy to have grabbed them. Yeah, thought it was a second press, you definitely got that for a good price mate, I paid more for mine. Cheers Mike
Big haul James - I want to check out that new Prong release. You picked up some of the big heavy hitters for 2023 - a couple of which I put in my best of the year list - Autopsy and Creeping Death. Im still sitting on the fence for picking up the Crypta and Horrendus. Been waiting for the CD price to come down a bit. That Hydra Vein cover.. is pretty crap haha! Nice pick up with the old Autopsy on vinyl and the classic Exodus! Cheers man 🤘
@@mrboulder9714 Thanks man - yeah the Exodus debut is essential. I nabbed a decent reissue of it a while back. but would love to see an OG someday in the wild. I like a couple of songs from that new Prong the opener and Breaking Point.
Awesome video! I just subbed a day ago.love the channel! I have a first press of autopsy severed survival vinyl from peaceville UK but no jacket. Hopefully I'll find a cover one day, lol!.
I just bought Horrendous and will hopefully listen to it in its entirety this weekend. Death metal Dream Theater sounds good to me! Creeping death is something I must sample too, been showing up on a lot of top lists. Those tapes are on point. I wish I could love tapes but they are the devil! 😅 Gonna see Blaze in April, first time for me. Cheers! 🤟🏻
That Horrendous is really good, glad I picked it up. Creeping Death is good too. Seen Blaze 3 times on his own and in December with Wolfsbane, he's always value for the money. Cheers mate 👍
Im one of the few who always loved x factor. I bought it when it came out loved it then and still do. Most who shit on it haven't given it a chance they jumped ship when Bruce left.
You hit the nail on the head there Most people listened to 30 seconds of Man On The Edge, didn't hear Bruce singing and dismissed it. It is indeed a great album Cheers fella and thanks for watching and commenting 👍
I havn't listened to any prong for years which is a shame because I always enjoyed their mix of thrash and industrial will put that on the to do list for this year!
I can probably do without the title track from Master of Puppets at this point. Yes it's a good song, but it's been played to absolute death now. Even Kirk Hammet has said he's tired of playing that song. My favorite tracks are Disposable Hereos, Sanitarium, Battery, Leper Messiah.
So glad you grabbed that Exodus, absolute thrashterpiece! Damn that Prong cover of Working Man is not good lol. Your cassette collection is growing fast!
Had to get that Exodus, couldn't hand over the cash quickly enough. I don't mind that Rush cover. Yeah I'm really happy with those Cassette pick ups. Cheers mate 👍
Still mixed feelings about the Maiden X Factor album after all these years. Saw them at a small venue in Dallas for that tour and got a few autographs on their way to the pub afterwards. Need to pick up the new Prong release, as well as give the new Dokken another spin.
I love that Crypta album. Have you heard their debut? It's another corker. Slight line-up reshuffle since then. They lost a guitarist who went off to play cheesy hair metal.
Never seen a 'logo' label for the Exodus - BBB MFN release. My copy is a bog-standard early flag-man label. They did do a few 'logo' labels, ride the lightning for one. both of the Manowar albums were customised labels. Earthshaker, Q5, Alaska were 'logo' labels if i remember correctly. i shall investigate this further. HaHa!! great vid again dude.
Wow. Great collections update. Gotta love the cassette collection. Cheers mate.
Cheers Mark, really pleased with these cassette pick ups mate
Cool , good bands !🤘🤘🤘🤘

That Hydra Vein Cover rules! I like that high school drawing artwork on metal albums. Reminds me of childhood.
I like those covers too, but this one is not great. Thanks for watching and commenting

I have a 1999 Century Media records reissue on CD of Bonded By Blood. It has the same original artwork on the front and same band photo layout on the back. Very happy to have that in my collection

Cheers Kenan. Really happy with these cassette pick ups. Yeah man, the Blaze era is underrated. Great songs on both the albums he did with Maiden.
Nice update, congrats. That hydra vein album is great :)
Cheers fella. Yeah I'm really pleased to pick up that Hydra Vein album

Cheers Steve, really happy with these pick ups. Just about to watch your Megadeth collection video mate
I was about to watch that Megadeth video too and then it vanished
@@jimmycampbell78 yea, my camera froze towards the middle of the video so I have to reshoot it.
@@stevesekora no worries Steve 👍
@@mrboulder9714 Had to delete it due to the camera freezing up didn't catch it to after it uploaded. Re shooting it tonight.

Great additions
I didn’t realise a lot of your tape purchases are originals from back in the day
Very nostalgic seeing the inlay cards of Metallica
Cheers fella. Yeah that And Justice For All definitely takes me back to the late 80's. Thanks for watching fella 👍

I love that Crypta album. Have you heard their debut? It's another corker. Slight line-up reshuffle since then. They lost a guitarist who went off to play cheesy hair metal.
