@@ThrashMetalIQ I'd say it would be pretty safe to assume you have shown at some point at least once, judging by each collections you show (which I ENVY as much as one possibly can 🤬 lol) but was curious if you would have a copy of TROUBLE "RUN TO THE LIGHT" vinyl you'd be willing to part ways with at a reasonable price. To me that album is a holy grail to me and would almost nearly complete my trouble vinyl discography.
The bathory album is not the second press but a 1987 under one flag repress , the second press is on black mark label 1984! the Return album is the first press ! both 200 dollar worth !

I definitely listen to those rips. They sound great. The Samael Passage, Transilvanian hunger and storm of the light’s bane are the ones I want ripped the most. Those iron goals are almost impossible to find.

A common tendency from the owner and my collection is : If a band made 10 LPs I can see that the owner stopped with bying at the precise moment that there was a bigger lack of quality ! For example Sodom. In my collection I stopped years ago with buying their LPs but I still buy Sodom : I still buy bootlegs, pictures, test press and colored.

pretty awesome... I have around 100 DM CDs, 350 BM CDs... almost all 1st pressings... modest estimation is around $35,000... I have 25 or so that have sold for over $400 on Discogs... unfortunately, I only ever bought 2 12' vinyl (Merciless - The Awakening and Incubus - Serpent Temptation)... also got about 20 7' vinyls, a few that have sold for $250+.
You'd be surprised definitely not worth 35 Grand hi I've done big sales unless you sell them in bulk people are not going to buy for that much

The band you couldn't read in the first box with the red artwork is katharsis. That record is the most evil record ever recorded. Makes all the other bands sound like Hello Kitty music. Jealous of that record.

Way more than 5k haha. Id buy all this shit for 5k. And also yes. He has an eBay account where he sells everything thrashmetalhq something. A lot of the stuff are great deals and a lot of it is pricier. I really wanna buy the Abigor supreme immortal art cd he has but he has it for kinda a lot. While other stuff he has for way too cheap. But In all, no issues. No listing I’ve seen has been crazy overpriced at all to be honest.

The main reason eBay prices are so high is they take nearly 30% of your money these days, that said, you can sell a lot if you have good stuff.

I would really appreciate if you can rip a song from the Light’s Bane, to compare the original pressing with the non official release that has been circulating the last 3 years.
For some of us that’s the only way to enjoy this wonderful album, but I would be stoked to hear a ripped version of yours!

Are you a real metal fan or just a music collector because the way you pronounce most of these bands I think you are just a collector. I literally cringed every time you mispronounced a band and there were many.....especially when you said Carthapian Forest.....um, its Carpathian Forest. A real fan would know that. A person like you doesn't really deserve to own a collection like this if you are not familiar with the bands. I have all of these on cd, cassette and vinyl and bought them when they first came out. I really don't care if its a first pressing or not, I'm just glad to have music of a band that I love to listen to.

Sometimes people have trouble pronouncing things when reading them out loud… especially when on camera making a video. Could be nerves, cut him some slack. Also he might just not be as big of a fan of the same bands you are but a bigger fan of some bands you are not.

No difference in sound quality between first press and a cassette tape picture disc is the worst sound whole collection about 25 euros per album, I hate when people beef up the price just because FIRST PRESS because they are same as 180g you just need a good record player
There’s a lot of reasons first pressings are valued. People spend hundreds or even thousands on first edition books even though they’re nearly identical textually. If you had a choice between a first Swedish ‘84 pressing of Bathory and a US reissue, which would you choose? Only a fool would choose the latter.
This is just because the nostalgia, just it.
It's because of all the bastarsized remastering and reissueing with crap mixes. First editions are the way they were meant to sound.
