Some good tips! In my opinion, the line between any style looking good and looking off is being comfortable and confident in it and accessorizing it to make it look more intentional. A shoe, a pair of shades or something, and the way you carry yourself can make all the difference!

Omg yes my lil gay heart thrives in a literal sack with rings and a necklace/earrings and a bag and feeling like that bitch

I can't do baggy. I wore clothes way too big in middle and high school because I was horribly insecure about my body. I still have areas I prefer not to highlight, but as a whole I am in a good place. Wearing clothes that are relaxed, but fit makes me feel confident.
It's amazing how much what we wear affects how we view ourselves.

Brooo!!! Frumpy was my thing in high school because all I wanted to do was be comfy and hide my big as heck chest!!! 😂😂😂 God made the choice for us cuz he knew it would give us character I’m sure! 😅

I have been very belatedly getting into boxy and oversized clothes, so I appreciate this! I learned to dress properly/primly in a much more tailored way that emphasized slimness, so embracing this different, less gendered silhouette has been a fun challenge. Thanks for the tips!

Love the tips and I really appreciate the photos to illustrate your points!
One thing though, I don’t really understand what people mean when they say ‘frumpy’. For me frumpy is when you literally wear your torn faded holey pajamas in public, other than that, I would assume it’s your style.
And also I think it’s all about how you wear it, i like Japanese streetwear and their fits are way over the ‘frumpy’ line. But because of their confidence, it looks intentional. And it’s might not for everyone but I’m into it.

One of my fav things about your channel is that I can recommend it to ppl regardless of their style bc most of the advice is around how to mix fashion ingredients together into silhouettes and make them work for you regardless of what they may be 💖 I could take this advice with a neon puffer and Loud AF button down, pants, boots, etc. Still Applies!!!

Loving all the advice in this video. I personally do not like tight clothing and live in relaxed/oversized clothing. The seams and fit are where they should be but its not body hugging which for me is just about perfect.

And also for oversized fit the shoulders will fit!! When I've just sized up sometimes a weird looking drop-shoulder has been created, not a good look

Yes to all of this. 😊👍 I've learned some similar thing along the journey trying to dress myself in a way that felt good. I think the small top-big bottom or big bottom-small top combos are my favorite bc I like the silhouettes so much. But I really appreciated the advice about pairing the silhouettes (boxy with boxy, drapey with drapey). I have a small frame and get overwhelmed easily in large clothes, so that was a great tip on how to avoid being swallowed by my clothes. I appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos.
