Does anyone know if you can use the 21” Dry Ride for Rock/Americana? I’ve never heard it in person so I just can’t tell if it would be loud enough. If anyone has any knowledge about that kind of stuff - I would appreciate it SO MUCH.
Those Masters sound similar, BUT NOT the same as the 1990's Paiste Signature Chocolate Chip Cookie Rid (Dark Dry Ride). These seem bester suited for jazz/fusion.

This same sound can be done with any ride and some masking tape and a washcloth. Don't be a schmuck and spend that kind of money on this nonsense.
